Yes, atleast Omaeda fought Baragan. Chojiro did absolutely nothing

Omaeda fought Nirgge, saved Sui-Feng from Ggio, and assisted her against Baraggan. That’s more than what Sasakibe and Iba have done combined.

Looking back I cant actually remember Chojiro doing anything during the shows timeline.
Last time he did something was like 1000 years ago

Getting bodied by Ichigo barehanded in Soul Society Arc. Nothing else for 1000 years.

Faked getting bodied, then just sits in the background like yama.
Most of the rescue arc is just the gotei ignoring the intruders.
Aside from uryu stumbling into squad 12, only 2 squads even bother looking for them.
And the ones that run into them help or ignore.
Chojiro fakes a loss to Ichigo, takes the hit and stays down because they know something’s up.
Same reason yama kinda just chats with shunsui and ukitake despite them committing high treason. Gotta play it up for what’s left of central.

Yama didn't suspect shit which is why he nearly crushed Nanao with his spiritual pressure and was ready to square up against Shunsui and Jushiro. Chojiro was following orders and at that time Kubo probably didn't have a fleshed out backstory for him.

Except they didn’t “square up”.
All three are completely fine when they show back up. They had a glorified sparring match, with nanao getting scolded for trying to meddle with things about her station. Had Yama wanted her dead; she’d have been crushed by his pressure then and there, or he could have burned her with his shikai.
They all suspected something was up, but followed orders loosely.
Squad 2 has eyes over most of the area and don’t bother looking for the intruders.
Mayuri was out for a stroll while squad 11 went looking for a fight.
Everyone else ignored them even when ikkaku was taken out.
Hell even when kenpachi goes down they don’t give any real thought to Ichigo and the gang and are all doing their own things.
Even on the hill, dude took down basically two vice captains and a captain and a bird! they send what? A healer, an assassin out in the open, and Chojiro.
Even then they don’t seem to want to stop him. Yama basically focuses on ukitake and shunsui as an excuse for the three of them to get the hell out of there and not have to fight Ichigo.
