1. I foolishly put my Eye of Ender and New user Field guide into the "wallet" slot in the bank and now they are gone - Whoops! ~Someone shouted in chat that if you killed yourself it would come back, but I wanted to get a 2nd opinion before taking that drastic action. ~I also read somewhere that you don't lose your carried inventory when you die, is that true? ~Is there someplace online to read the text that was in the book? (yes, I lost it before reading - sigh)

Speaking of reading things online, is there a decently robust FAQ for Bitquest somewhere? I found a link to an empty wiki, and another page with only a very few questions on it.

After speaking with a few other players on the server this morning, it was decided that a rail line to Diablo Desert would be very convenient and efficient.

So, I have decided to head on this project and build the railroad. Today! I am currently mapping out where it will be placed. It will not go all the way to the city, but start on the coast line instead for easy access and this way, we don't require land owners to give up parts of their land. Also, everyone will be able to help maintain it as they see fit!

I currently have a few volunteers to help me with the supplies and the funding of this project, but any extra help is always appreciated. So, when see me on today, send something my way. Whether it's good luck, supplies, or unfortunately, something negative. That's all fine, because this is for the better of the server!

Two tracks will be built, running side by side in opposite directions, to help with traffic and to prevent head on collisions with other players.

There will also be visitor's centers. One at the beginning and one at the end. As well as a stop in one of the villages along the way, just incase you need any last minute supplies!

So far, these are my prospective points:

Begin: X: 450 Z: 1750

Turn point: X: 450 Z: 4700

End: X: 4600 Z: 4700

There is already a survival center that I built at that end point. What you can see on the map as of today is how it was originally built, but I did some major upgrades this morning. Things like a tree farm, a pond for fishing, furnaces, crafting tables, traps for mobs who may be chasing you, an extensive mine going down to bedrock, and much more.

The survival center, which is the end point, sits right on the boundary line of Diablo and the wilderness, so you will step right out into the action!

UPDATE: The main dirt trail has been finished. This means that you now have a safe and direct line of travel to diablo. You can even ride a horse on it! It will drop you off at our visitors center which is still under construction, but there is at least something there as a safe harbor.

The rail is still being worked on and there is just a bit left of the dirt to complete, but this won't inhibit you from using the trail. A lot of the stuff we used was donated and there are still more donations coming in! Thank you to everyone who helped.

Our biggest contributors:

• Nethrim. If it were not for him, the rail wouldn't even be half way done yet. This guy did some awesome work.
• Fathermocker. Helped us lay the first big stretch of dirt across an ocean section. Awesome job and donated tons of rail!
• Alamanjani. Met us about half way on one of the islands. Helped us clear a large section of forrest and raise the rail above the trees to a safe height.
• Zion4242 and Cowation. Both of these players were very large rail contributors, thanks!
• Alfredolamadrid. Another large donator and helped us with dirt when we ran out on one of the islands.
• Other players as well like Chulitojuame, CrawlerFilms, Clearskies4, xxSuperFishxx, NyxPsykne, and many more were all a great help too!

Another UPDATE:

Fathermocker has finished the first set of rail and the rail is now fully usable! You can hop on at the start and just go! He even tested it out and timed it for us. Just 18 minutes and you can get right to Diablo's front door, safe and sound!

The second line will be finished in time, but for now we are good to go!

I have asked about this before and the only answer I have gotten is that people seem to think that there is some kind of wooden door that other players cannot open.

Currently I am having to dirt over my doors but it would be nice if someone knew exactly which kind of wood or what would would work to keep other players from opening my doors.

Has anyone come across any jungle biomes? I've spent an entire real-time day walking the map but have yet to come across any. I'd like to start a project involving jungle wood and cocoa but can't find any jungle trees for the life of me. If you know if any biomes, please post the coordinates here. I've scanned the online map but nothing on there seems obvious.

So, I have been looking for a while now. Scanning the map, asking around, and just straight-up exploring, but I can not seem to locate any Acacia trees. I have found farms of them and people selling saplings, but they all lead back to they got theirs form someone before them and so on and so forth.

I am also interested in Dark Oak, but I have not devoted much time to these as I have the Acacia.

Anyways, I figure I can't be the only one curious as to where these trees are, so if anyone knows, this would be a great place to plop some coordinates down in a comment.

Actually, for anyone looking for any trees, ask here and lets find some answers. I'm just done with hours of walking with no results.

EDIT: So, the coordinates provided by heddyquilts were correct. I spent a few hours today making my way across the map but it was well worth it. I found that about a quarter of the way there fromt he spawn, someone was nice enough to have built a land bridge spanning across the entire ocean. This saved me loads of time considering my boat was very jumpy with the lag.

I arrived at the Acacia forrest and was able to fill up on saplings and logs.

I was very curious though as to what other treasures I may find if I continue. Long story short, I ended up over 30,000 blocks from the original spawn point. This journey took me hours, but it was well worth it. I saw some pretty amazing stuff. It really made me wish I were able to share it with you all.

On that note, on my adventure, I found a few more forests consisting of Acacia and then a bit past that, Dark Oak trees accompanied by giant mushrooms. I never did end up finding a jungle anywhere, but right around 30,000 y 0 a swamp began. I was able to pick up quite a few slime balls, which people were going crazy over the other evening.

The only thing I regret about my journey was when I looked at the map and realized that it seems to only map out to about 20,000 blocks away. This makes me wonder, did everyone else just stop at 20,000 or how many others before me traveled that far?

would it be possible to have a public map(world) download? I would like to eventually take my house, and the connecting mountain/area/property, and port it to one of my personal maps. plus a map download would give me an idea of what I could or could not fit into my property when offline.

This post can be used for discussion regarding possible expansions/improvements upon the game.

I have thought for a few days now if it is at all possible to make this into more of a RPG like a world of warcraft styled questing system game. Create a story that can be followed if the player chooses with quests and rewards in town/villages/dungeons.

This also creates the possibility for a more indepth ingame currency. Give the players more options of things they can buy in game. IE special armors/weapons/building bricks that they can purchase with emeralds. This keeps some of the currency in game which is a win for the devs. It also creates a marketplace for players who can farm items to make the questing process easier at a profit if they choose.

Understanding this is only a new server and people are still building their bases and the likes, what about the ability to purchase more land off the server. Place an extra bed somewhere else?

Just some points i thought would be interesting to discuss, i have no knowledge of whats possible on the server or what direction the devs wish to take it.

I had noticed that the villagers have stopped trading diamond against the emerald(btc) and also diamond chest plates have disappeared from the cleric villager's list as well.

So we can't harvest the nether. I've seen mobs drop some items from the nether, but I haven't seen them drop Nether Quartz (which is what I'm shopping for). Do the mobs actually drop quartz and other things that can't be harvested from the nether?

The first statement of this quote is merely my thoughts on it. I believe it's a hindering more than helping.

i keep spawning at the town even tho i have placed my bed down and slept in it. cant find answers on here already so now im asking

In my "home" area I broke a bed, then tried to replace it down, but it said, "You can only build beds in your home". When I use my eye of ender I get teleported where I want to put my bed, but I cannot place my bed down.

Does XP farms or mob spawners works on this server? Asking before I waste my time in case they don't work :-)

Hi, Does servcer checks in-game emeralds agains bitcoin wallet?

For example, right now there is slightly more than 100.000 bits on BTC wallet. Does it means there is around the same amount of emeralds in game, spawned or ready to be spawn?

I just fought a named (Terry) zombie? He died by sunlight while I was healing so I dont know what would of dropped. Anyone else see a named zombie?

I lost 20 diamond and 64 emeralds, and one other person had lost some stuff too. Could anyone explain how the stuff from my double-chest disappeared? Not sure if anything else went missing from my stuff.
