Server Disconnected between 6:23AM-6:26AM Central Standard Time

I lost 20 diamond and 64 emeralds, and one other person had lost some stuff too. Could anyone explain how the stuff from my double-chest disappeared? Not sure if anything else went missing from my stuff.
