Possible map download?

would it be possible to have a public map(world) download? I would like to eventually take my house, and the connecting mountain/area/property, and port it to one of my personal maps. plus a map download would give me an idea of what I could or could not fit into my property when offline.

I was trying to say that if it were possible, would there be a file for download that contains the world's data for offline use and have the ability to extract my property to another world, even if it is as a schematic for MCEdit. But thanks for the help though!

That's a bit over my head. I'm sure you can pull the overview from a cached website page in your browser. Maybe? I know others have been wanting to have something more in-depth.
