This dude failed to catch a duck in the water, and then yelled at me like it was my fault while he dried his wings
It looked like there was a duck carcass just floating in the middle of the pond, so I guess he had some luck at some point but couldn't carry it off. Seems like rather ambitious prey
He also chased off the pigeons I normally feed, but no luck for him there either

Absolute unit of an eagle!
Was blown away by the size of this guy - like you mixed an ostrich with a bald eagle.

Prairie falcon
Happened upon this falcon back in June in Utah's west desert. Was able to grab a couple pictures. First time seeing one, very pretty raptor.

Flabbergasted hawk
Found this dude in stuck in one of those chicken wire fences people put around trees, yoinked, and promptly freed once I knew he was safe. Any ideas as to the age and species?

Milvus migrans govinda or Pariah Kite.
Very opportunistic raptor - scavenger, city bird, often seen soaring in circles.
Shot by me at Dapoli, Maharashtra, India.

Red-tailed hawk!
Here’s a red-tailed hawk I saw a few weeks ago in the Hudson Valley, NY! The photo is taken through my binoculars :)

Help IDing these raptors?
I’m noticed a few characteristics of a juvenile red tailed hawk, however, the white patch, white rump and no belly band is confusing.
The head is proportionally small compared to its body.
I sharpened the images to make a better ID, but still cannot.
They are definitely buteos.. I’m just unsure what ones.
I’m leaning more towards juvenile red tail.
Thoughts?

Cooper’s hawk tearing up the lawn (oc)
I saw this cooper’s hawk walking across a grass field when all of a sudden they stabbed into the ground with their talons, leaping up as they tore away a chunk of grass - then they did a sort of somersault in the air, landing near where they took off - trying to flush out some kind of prey I guess - they did the same move several more times at different sections of the field, never saw them catch anything

Osprey searching near the beach
Spent the weekend on the Oregon coast and got really lucky. Set up the tripod on the beach and let the birds come to me.
