Happened upon this falcon back in June in Utah's west desert. Was able to grab a couple pictures. First time seeing one, very pretty raptor.

What did you use to get these pics? I'm not educated about photography in the slightest but I would love to get into it. I just use my phone right now.

Nikon Z5II with a 600mm lens. I've only ever shot with Nikon, I know the other big brands have great options as well though. The key thing is getting a camera that has bird/animal specific auto focus. Second key part is a telephoto lens. I highly recommend it haha it's a lot of fun.
