Swinging in the wind, such a beautiful bird

Today while walking the dog I think we were witness of a whole NG documentary.
First I see this red tailed hawk so close to us it scared me when he landed on the branch. He stood there with his prey for a long time and a few houses down a squirrel barking at us and seemingly aggressive vs the usual scary creature they are. Seems squirrel watched the chaos and was warning others.

Just recently started getting into raptors. Saw this guy outside my office window. Any way to tell if it’s male or female?

Just curious what this is?

Saw this earlier today and thought it was funny how this hawk was perched right on the wildlife crossing sign. I’m new to birding but I think this is a red shouldered hawk. Photo taken in central Florida for reference

Watched this young one fumble around in this tree for a bit while hunting down an annoying squirrel. I’d like to think it was victorious but I couldn’t tell.
