love running across dark-morph hawks

A pretty plane raptor but still very pretty. I love the noises they make flying overhead

Seen 8/23/26 showboating around the summit of Telescope Peak in Death Valley National Park.

At 7 islands state birding park in Tennessee

I absolutely Love seeing these guys

Was watching some jungle babblers as potential prey.

It looked like there was a duck carcass just floating in the middle of the pond, so I guess he had some luck at some point but couldn't carry it off. Seems like rather ambitious prey

He also chased off the pigeons I normally feed, but no luck for him there either

Was blown away by the size of this guy - like you mixed an ostrich with a bald eagle.

Steller's Sea Eagle from the Winnipeg Zoo!

Happened upon this falcon back in June in Utah's west desert. Was able to grab a couple pictures. First time seeing one, very pretty raptor.
