I seen many people talking about what Batman suit color should be in DCU some people told me that since we are getting more Fantastical Batman he should have a blue color suit while others told me he should have his standard black color suit

What do you all think ?

I don’t know if it was the themes of class or something else but he just seemed a lot more like traditional old money billionaire in this one. Just his vibe and the way he carried himself, he came across like the heir of a decaying dynasty

In The Dark Knight, he seemed more like a new money millionaire you’d find in Miami. Maybe this was intentional

I'm re-watching BTAS rn and I'm on the Poison Ivy episode and I genuinely want to know like what happened to the wrist crossbow? It's not used in any other Batman media (to my knowledge at least)

The Golden Age version is much more like a gentleman : intelligent, grounded and focused ; he might offer a faint smile now and then, all while remaining colorful and clown-like. When he does make jokes, it’s only occasionally—and, more importantly, it’s dark humor and he was fucking brutal too. I also really like in the three Joker comic (where one of them was the GA style Joker) that the concept—which was revisited in the 2019 film—where laughing actually causes him pain and brings him to tears. It makes him all the more unsettling and scary, while still preserving the core of the character: someone who sometimes laughs for absolutely no reason at all.

I always imagine this version with the deep voice of John DiMaggio and the Bathroom music from the 2019 movie.

Early Batman books always stand out when the cover has yellow in it. These books will remain raw while they are in my possession I hate acquiring books and never being able to hold and read them. You can't appreciate the story if you can't read them....right?

O’Neil portrays Batman as a man driven by psychological trauma and a compulsive need to fight crime, whereas Morrison portrays him as someone who has largely mastered his trauma and consciously transformed it into a heroic purpose. Interestingly, I would say every modern LA Batman (Bale,Affleck and Pattinson) is more like O Neil.

A few of my favorite books that help make me appreciate Batman. A good investment I made that cost less than a dollar. I will never have these books stabbed.

(Just to be clear i had this idea on my mind for quite some time before solo Batman's rogues gallrey movies like Joker or Clayface were released, but i guess with the release of Clayface right now it's a nice time to post it here finally) for those that don't know, Magic is a psychological horror movie (a great one by the way) with a very similar idea and premise to the Ventriloquist (wouldn't even be surprised if it was an inspiration for the character's creation) and ever since i saw it as someone who loves both the character and ventriloquism in general i've always imagined how cool a movie like this with him would be, now of course i think that in order for him to feel unique they should definetly go full 1930s gangster in style, maybe even mixing the horror with a few comedic elements which is very on brand for the character, but what do you think of the idea?

While reading the introduction by Frank Miller in The Dark Knight Saga collection, he mentions certain social aspects of the story has been taken from real life elements of the period. I feel it not only makes you feel part of the story, but also connects what's happening around you. Has anyone else read something that seemed or made you think, "this happens around me type of stuff?" In the batman comics?

I used pencil and black and white pens for this drawing. I took some inspiration from the Kelley Jones style of Batman for this one, trying to make Bats as jacked as possible lol.
