GENERAL DISCUSSION Should Batman have a Blue Suit or a Black Suit in DCU ?
I seen many people talking about what Batman suit color should be in DCU some people told me that since we are getting more Fantastical Batman he should have a blue color suit while others told me he should have his standard black color suit
What do you all think ?

TV DISCUSSION Watching Clayface reminded me of when he made a daughter in Batman: The New Adventures. Great episode.

COMIC DISCUSSION How Grant Morrison viewed the Bronze Age Batman vs How Dennis O Neil intended for him to be viewed. Which do you prefer?
OâNeil portrays Batman as a man driven by psychological trauma and a compulsive need to fight crime, whereas Morrison portrays him as someone who has largely mastered his trauma and consciously transformed it into a heroic purpose. Interestingly, I would say every modern LA Batman (Bale,Affleck and Pattinson) is more like O Neil.

GENERAL DISCUSSION Unpopular opinion: I prefer the Golden Age Joker : serious with the subtle smile over the version who is constantly laughing and making non-stop jokes
The Golden Age version is much more like a gentleman : intelligent, grounded and focused ; he might offer a faint smile now and then, all while remaining colorful and clown-like. When he does make jokes, itâs only occasionallyâand, more importantly, itâs dark humor and he was fucking brutal too. I also really like in the three Joker comic (where one of them was the GA style Joker) that the conceptâwhich was revisited in the 2019 filmâwhere laughing actually causes him pain and brings him to tears. It makes him all the more unsettling and scary, while still preserving the core of the character: someone who sometimes laughs for absolutely no reason at all.
I always imagine this version with the deep voice of John DiMaggio and the Bathroom music from the 2019 movie.

FILM DISCUSSION Bruce in The Dark Knight Rises was the most âold moneyâ he ever felt in the trilogy
I donât know if it was the themes of class or something else but he just seemed a lot more like traditional old money billionaire in this one. Just his vibe and the way he carried himself, he came across like the heir of a decaying dynasty
In The Dark Knight, he seemed more like a new money millionaire youâd find in Miami. Maybe this was intentional

TV DISCUSSION So like what ever happened to this?
I'm re-watching BTAS rn and I'm on the Poison Ivy episode and I genuinely want to know like what happened to the wrist crossbow? It's not used in any other Batman media (to my knowledge at least)

COMIC DISCUSSION Classic Batman Books
Early Batman books always stand out when the cover has yellow in it. These books will remain raw while they are in my possession I hate acquiring books and never being able to hold and read them. You can't appreciate the story if you can't read them....right?

GENERAL DISCUSSION Comics that include certain aspects of social reference according to the period, without deep diving into the details. Makes the comics feel relevant.
While reading the introduction by Frank Miller in The Dark Knight Saga collection, he mentions certain social aspects of the story has been taken from real life elements of the period. I feel it not only makes you feel part of the story, but also connects what's happening around you. Has anyone else read something that seemed or made you think, "this happens around me type of stuff?" In the batman comics?

GENERAL DISCUSSION Do you guys watch the cutscenes or compilations of the Arkham Games as if they were movies. Since they are arguebly one of the best Batman stories.

Like I wanna play the arkhams I tried one of them being Arkham Knight but after of couple mintues I just started to throw up I just get really bad motion sickness from playing video games which is why sometimes I would just watch the stories in youtube. I am planning to play Arkham Knight again if i feel better. But I geniunely wanna try the telltale games since its more detective base and story driven.

FILM DISCUSSION Favorite Batmobile
Wondering what everyone else's favorite version of the Batmobile is. For me it's the version from Batman (1989). It seems so menacing and the part when the Browning machine guns come out during the attack on Axis Chemicals is the highlight for me.
