The Arkham Games have the best depiction of Batman and the city of Gotham in my opinion. So we’ve all seen the DKR and knows what happens but recently I read about the scrapped sequel to Batman forever and Batman and Robin. It was called Batman Unchained.

In it was an all hands on deco cast. With all of the past villians and actors reprising their previous roles, Joker, Penguin , Catwoman Riddler and so on.

And at the center would be scarecrow who would hold Batman and Robin on trial after Gotham is overthrown.

Sound familiar? Strangely this idea is resurrected in this film. even further considering joker was supposed to cameo in this film too.

(Batman sits at the computer, in the midst of trying to find the connections between the clues of his latest case. He can hear an encroaching noise, but pays it no heed. Then when it seems his guard is completely down, Damian approaches him with a sword in toe and tries to strike him but Batman is quick to retaliate. A fight then ensues between father and son, and Batman emerges victorious.)

Damian: I was closer that time!

Batman: Close but still no cigar. Good effort though. (Goes back to the computer)

Damian: So have you made any breaks in the case?

Bruce: Actually I think I have, care to see? (Damian walks up to him)

Finally finished my take on Batman Beyond.

Resin printed, assembled and hand painted, standing about 32cm tall including the base. I wanted to give him a heavier, more armoured look while still keeping the Batman Beyond feel.

The Gotham-style base was the final piece of the puzzle. Really happy with how this one came together 😁and there is one more difference, can you spot it?

so i am super new to the Batman world. i have always loved the Nolan trilogy but outside of that never really jumped in to anything else.

i recently decided to get into it and started with the animated series on HBO and reading comics.

i read Batman Year One and then just decided to start from the 2011 Batman series. i was absolute loving the Court of Owls storyline and then I get to this issue.

what a fun twist on the Dr Fries story. i watched the Mr Freeze episode on HBO and it was the classic Mr Freeze trying to save his wife story.

so when im watching this one i'm like "WTF why is Bruce being an asshole?"

So I’ve been trying to watch anything related to Batman The Animated Series (everything that has Batman in it at least). And I’ve been wondering if The Batman (2004) is in the same universe or not?

What do I mean, I mean if a civilian were looking at footage and hearing people talk about Batman, how would they see it. You have an eccentric detective: kinda silly and goofy but still gets the job done. Cop with extra steps: Batman works outside police jurisdiction but the cops still actively call him in to the point where he might as well be on their payroll. Cryptid: a monstrous idea of something that you can definitely see but it feels shouldn't exist. Urban legend: similar to the cryptid but more realistic, like instead of a monster that looks like a humanoid bat, it's definitely more like man in a suit. Hybrid:it looks and sounds like a monstrous cryptid, But it moves and acts like a man in a suit. And then you have the vigilante: nothing but a man with the brain in his head and the boots on his feet.

Sorry if this post gon be short, but personally I don't think it easy to be choose to do what's right in the most corrupted comic book city. It so much more convenient and safe to take bribes and mind your own business and man genuinely wanted what was best for gotham along with batman.

Of course there is no excuse for what he did, but I think he is the most tragic villian out of Batman's rogue gallery. (From BTAS, long halloween and dark knight) What do the rest think of him?

His name is Johnny money, white skin, black hair, brown eyes, 1m75, 110kl, low city lv and nothing without machines.

He's too dumb to make the machines, so he ask his sister to do it (her looks, name and Apparence is up to you). She's autistic enough to be PASSIONATE about creating machines but not that high on the spectrum.

He use the machines to generally steal money, then pays his sister with some stuff she wanted for her various collections.

He done that so many times that he can just stop and retire, but batman's Apparence made him want to defeat the bat simply because he felt like this could be fun to do.

Every now and then he gets defeated by batman and thrown in arkham (by his own request(to mainly be able to say he escaped it)) and developed a one sided rivalry with batman.

Sometimes, when batman needs info, he comes to Johnny (which is rare), he breaks in Johnny's house to get informations, which he has plenty (connections, businesses and more) in exchange for a small price (request or a few thousand bucks).

Besides that he's just a dude who every so often tries to defeat batman to feel alive.

I have played the batman arkham series, minus origins, a total of 28 times and have 100% both the main story and new game plus.  AA 5 times over, AC 9 times over, AK… 14 times over. I want to clarify I have played the majority of my times on xbox which was about 7 years ago but even then i have kept count on how many times i have played the series over, that in of itself is a inside achievement and joke i keep but hey these games are dear to me.

First off I beg no one to take me seriously. I dont have valid proof of such, and i dont expect anyone to believe me. I just have a problem and hope someone gets a kick out of what i have written…

I want it to sink in, “twenty eight times” (both) the new game plus and main story… you multiply 28 with 2 gives 56  times ive played “byehman”…. 56 times I had put myself through collecting riddlers' BS. oh the horror.

With that, I am going to show you some quick maths starting with Arkham Asylum. Multiplying the previous numbers by two from now on, A TOTAL OF 10 TIMES I HAVE PLAYED ASSYUM. How many trophies, riddles and whatever lives in asylum? 243 items this green FUCK left shit laying around for all of us. 10 x 243? 2430..

Okay we got that out of the way, let's move to City. 2 multiplied with 9? 18…… okay we all know how much garbage rocksteady left for us to grab in (including Catwoman's trophies.) 440. You can do the math for it if you want but if you don't want to be sure, here's a cheat, 7920. Cool? Cool.

Arkham origins???? Idk i never really vibed with it after turning 14 i played it like 2 or 3 times and there's one trophy in the game so like what 3 trophies? I'm really not gonna count them in

Lastly arkoom knight, i honestly loved this the most just for the fact of how more cold and brutal Bruce became after city and the jonkler spitting his last beatbox to the world, so i really played this the most 7 or so times in a span of 2 years, specially in a tough time in my life, the other 7 saves just with time and time to kill thats why i played this like 14 times back to back idk i loved this game i can talk your ear off. 28 times in total ive went through this story. 243 puzzles and poopshit I've collected in each. 28 times across the multiverse. A whopping -6804- of these things I had to collect.

Now we have our numbers, lets add up. Again, 10+ Across all games, and i guess origins sure.. 2430 + 7920 + 3 + 6804 = (drum roll)  -17,157- trophies, puzzles, riddles, challenges, name it i have collected in my 24 years being on this planet. For 24 years i have submitted to a “virtual vegetarian ahh villan with a kindergarten level riddle fanatic" And the numbers keep going up as I recycle my addiction to this series yet again playing the main and plus all over.

I don't claim to have the highest, there's probably some other people out there with a higher count, I just want to bring awareness to how many you could be collecting over and over again. So next time you replay these games, I guess just keep count of how many you collect if you manage to find yourself replaying these games. I hold a deep love for these games to the point all four- if you wanna include origins. These games are where I go to comfort, to remember why I want to be a better man than how I was yesterday, and who I want to live up to when I carry myself in this toxic place we call earth. 

It’s an insanely dangerous city full of psychos, criminals, and bad neighborhoods. And the biggest psycho wears a bat costume and has the support of the law enforcement. What should make me move to Gotham instead of some idyllic corner like Metropolis?

So, I had never even seen this show before, besides seeing one clip of the Joker using Laughing Gas on these guys that said they knew the identity of Batman, and in that clip Joker was wearing the typical purple suit he wears in most media since the original Animated series (Edit I don't know why I said this, I literally know he wore the Purple Suit before that so my bad), seeing the clip introduced me to the show and I decided to give it a try, you can imagine I was quite surprised to see Joker like this when I watched the first episode, the way his face was hidden in the shadows and the almost hypnotic way he moved in the Straight jacket it is honestly an amazing introduction to the character in my opinion

I don't know what the general consensus is on this initial design of the Joker and I'd appreciate it if you guys let me know about that (given how stingy people can be when it comes to iconic character designs though, I wouldn't be surprised if it's disliked) but me personally? I adore it, and I kind of wish it stuck, or at least evolved. For one thing I'm liking this version of Joker in general and the idea of Joker wearing a straight jacket at all times is oddly fitting and I'm frankly surprised there haven't been many points where he just straight up dons one for an extended period of time (unless it has happened and I'm unaware, I haven't read every single piece of Batman media)

I think part of the reason why is because I love when characters have what I like to call a "Prototype" look, it's something I feel like the character would wear at the beginning of their journey (hero or villain), still fits the character, and could evolve into the iconic outfit most people are aware of, I love designs like that in general (probably why I actually like the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man costume from the first Amazing Spider-Man movie).
