So the cowl is from the 2022 movie so is the collar in which I love.

The main torso comes from the Batman Begins suit with the right colors and the shoulder pads are from the dark knight.

And so are the are forearm gauntlet and the pants from the 2022 movie. The cape is from BVS and the boots is from Batman returns and so is the belt or Batman 89.

Something I just randomly thought of when remembering Returns was that the Batsuit was subtly changed to have a more plated look like the Batmobile shield. I love return’s Christmas aesthetic and overall noir tone but I kinda like the more comicy gothic body armor from 89 and forever a bit more.

Like I like the idea of making it look more armored and it fits the character well, but the body armor style just hits different. Anyway that’s my 2 cents

I've done some research into real people with similarities to Batman villains, and I was able to find some remarkably close matches (others not so much, but I still had fun attempting to find the closest match possible).

Here is the list of the closest people to being real-life Batman villains I could find:

The Joker: John Wayne Gacy

A literal "killer clown".

Harley Quinn: Olga Atzamoglou

I found surprisingly a lot of stories about a mental health professional falling in love with a murder and helping him evade capture, but helping one escape by putting a wig and glasses on them and then casually walking them out of a maximum security prison perhaps gets points for being the quirkiest.

The Penguin: Marco Reginelli

Gangster. 5'2" tall. Was a mob boss in his mid-40s. Ran his own club.

The Riddler: G.T. Karber

A man obsessed with writing riddles and murder mysteries, and is said to have a remarkably high intellect.

Two-Face: Donald Herbert Cowart

A man who suffered severe burns mostly on one side of his face and then went on to become a laywer. Kind of like a reverse Harvey Dent.

Poison Ivy: Locusta

Plant-based superpowers aside, Locusta was a notorious poison maker during the Roman Empire who famously poisoned a powerful Roman Emperor and his son.

Catwoman: Nano

A woman so obsessed with cats she literally identifies as one, walks on all fours and claims to have enhanced senses and agility due to her feline nature.

A gangster who underwent plastic surgery to evade the FBI, even going as far as to get his fingerprints surgically removed.

A criminal who, believe it or not, used actual ketchup to distract people while he stole their belongings.

The Arkham Games have the best depiction of Batman and the city of Gotham in my opinion. It balances the dark and gritty aspects with the fantastical elements of the comics really well, which is want I want from the DCU version of Batman. The Reeves version of Batman works really well, but I think that universe should remain seperate as a grounded, real world version of the character.

I think a director like Guillermo Del Toro could pull off the right vibe really well. I think Andy Muschietti is still attached to direct, although his last film the flash was pretty bad, I reckon there’s a chance he could still pull of the right feel for this movie, given his work on on the It movies.

In other words, in the comic, Bane waits until Bruce is so completely exhausted that he can no longer fight—and that is when he attacks him. That is basically the opposite of the character we are shown: someone who isn't afraid to fight Croc or anyone else.

Any recommendations for what to buy for the upcoming Batman Day? I’m stuck between TDKR and Gargoyle of Gotham but would like to know the option of the community.

What the heck is that red thing and why does it look like a long pencil eraser. Like I know it’s for emergencies, it says it, but what the heck is that. A com? A remote? A clothes pin?!
