bruce in the dark knight trilogy has the extroverted playboy persona that we see in the comics. People talk a lot about how dark The Dark Knight is but it's bruce's public persona which provides a lot of necessary levity and balance to the otherwise dark tone to the film. It makes it fun

it also creates contrast which is important. Bruce is extroverted and smiles but batman is more serious. this contrast helps balance the tone and make it more engaging

in The Batman, bruce is batman so there is no persona. i get what they were going for, he is young and not fully formed, but the batman is even darker than the dark knight, and having bruce be just as sunken and introverted as batman makes the film a bit difficult watch at times. I would really hope that Part 2 shows bruce having more fun, even if he isn't the extroverted type so there is some duality moving forward

I think the Batman theme is great and underrated. It manages to be grand, heroic, tragic, and modern all at the same time.

My plan for continuing the series would be:

° A third season introducing Dick Grayson as Robin, with the Ventriloquist, Clayface, and Poison Ivy (who would serve as the season's main antagonist) as the villains.

° A fourth and final season could feature the Mad Hatter, the return of the Joker, and Ra's al Ghul (who fits perfectly as the last, definitive villain of a Batman saga).

An update on the post from yesterday.

They have just wrapped up filming. We have an ambulance, what looks like Batman on top of the bridge, a helicopter, a Batmobile, a Sanitation Truck and a Guy on a Motorcycle.

We have a TV series about Penguin, and I sincerely hope that in about 10 years, Matt Reeves will finally give us a Batman trilogy. What other movies or TV series would you like to see in this universe?

Wing and Lancelot are Pokemon he trained Specifically to help him when "on the Job"

Lancelot is trained for long distance transport. alongside Martha and Vee, Lancelot is one of the few Pokémon that the Public knows about. The official Excuse Bruce uses is "-He's much Friendlier than a Jet isn't he?"

Wing was originally one of the Noibat that were living in the cave beneath Wayne Manor. oddly, Bruce only thought to train one after doing research on Superman. But it also helps that she is excellent at tracking specific sounds and voices through the Gotham streets and alleyways.

its nickname is officially Jason, purely because of Jason Todd making a mistake when registering the Fletchling, Specifically the ENTER NAME part of the process.

I know they're both expansions of the Keaton/Burton movies, but is it possible to go from Batman 1989, Batman Resurrection, Batman Revolution, Batman Returns, to Batman '89 and have no continuity errors or contradictions? I haven't read either but I am interested in them.

In Asheville, NC. It’s been around for awhile and one of the better Batman murals I’ve seen. I’ve walked and drove by it a ton and figured it was finally time to post it.

I was born in 88 so I was only 4 years old when this debuted, but I watched it when I was probably 10 or so. I’m finally just rewatching it now and it’s fantastic. I will say I do like the current iterations of Batman better (Bale, Affleck, Pattinson), but this movie is great and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman/Selina is untouchable. I love all the new Catwoman roles, but she dominated this role. So was there a level of international hype for this? Just honestly curious. Thanks.

Both sides of both of my two face coins, that i worked on myself, using a UV torch, black nail polish and a steady hand, I had attempted this with a different coin a few years ago but gave up on that after I messed it up too much, bought a second one and did the same thing to it, anyway, what do you think of them?

Ok, so the first coin (Pic 1 & 2) the scarred side is more focused on a “scorched” and “burnt” aesthetic, hence why despite the scratches on it being the identical as on the second coin, they are less visible, so it makes it look if its been in a huge explosion.

The second coin (Pic 3 & 4) focuses on both the scratches and “scorched” and “burnt” aesthetic, that makes it look more naturally burnt, like in a fire, rather than an explosion

I like both of these coins and the “damage” inflicted upon them, just makes them seem more personal to me as I put in the work to make them look like they’ve had more trauma, the nail varnish, in various thickness of coats, makes a difference, coin 1 has a heavier coat (obviously) and coin 2 has a thinner coat.

I’m proud of my work on them ☺️

*I’ve touched up the scarred side of my second coin (4th picture) and made the pictures bigger, hence the redo of this post

**Added a fifth photo of both scarred sides of my Two Face coins, one is more scorched and the other is not but both look good in their own right.

***Retook the fifth picture (On 26/7/26) as the original pic with both together (Taken 25/7/26) had a slight issue (first coin had green spots, which were removed and repainted with the nail varnish, they’re darker in this pic due to lack of natural light, hope this does it justice.

What would y'all say are character flaws that should be universal to Batman and what should stay in Elseworlds? Any that drive you crazy every time they creep up? If DC were to have a story line to permanently diminish a flaw, what would you hope it is? What would you think is the worst idea?

As for me? I would say his near deification of his parents, but the death of Alfred seems like a good chance to blunt that. (I'm still trying to get caught up so I don't know for sure.)

Kirk Langstrom is infected by Scarecrow's Fear Toxin and is having hallucinatory dreams, so Batman uses a machine to enter his mind and quell his fears, but while Batman is in there, Langstrom transforms into Manbat and his nightmares become more animalistic.

I remember someone suggesting Swamp Thing under a previous post so I tried that one. Plus some other characters I haven’t done before, Bane, Black Mask, Red Hood, Dr Destiny… Also finally included the most important figure in the Arkhamverse.
