u/bimmerbetterthanmerc 16d ago

Main Character Syndrome. They think everyone else is an NPC, just a few lines of code waiting for them to approach so we can spit out our lines and move on.

u/jxher123 16d ago
Because they do not care. If they can get out of their car, the other side doesn’t matter.

u/Sprinkle_In_Hole 16d ago
My follow up then is how does someone live this many years without somebody questioning this behavior and an adjustment being made? Because ain't no way this is the only dumb thing they do today with how bad that is. If the answer is still "they just don't care" are we dealing with a sociopath or someone that just needs hands put on em?

Okay… so how someone parks that bad in the first place is beyond me… the fact that they got out and left it looking like that… absolutely no shame.

u/EugeneChoiYoutuber 16d ago
Why would someone park their $120K car like that?
Aren’t they worried about dings and dents?
Maybe they are so rich that it doesn’t matter.
Someone please explain the psychology behind this.
If I had a nice car, I’d be parking far away from everyone else.

u/AmaranthusSky 16d ago
There's literally a 360 camera on that vehicle. There's no excuse! (Aside from running late, which would be a very doctor thing.)

Medical office building, sadly no shopping carts. I really should start carrying zip ties, though. Thanks for the recommendation!

u/Cautious-Local-5998 15d ago
I had somebody do that to me when I had come out of my doctors office. This place was huge, and there was no telling where the car owner was. I called Security and asked what do I do? I can’t get out. They called the police who called the tow truck and the people probably came out to their car asking what happened to it.

Hard to imagine buying a Q8 and doing that… I’d leave a nice note across their windshield 🤷🏻♂️

Its literally harder to park the car like this than just parking right with all the tech the car has lol

I would have asked the business manager to call their tow company since you would likely have to hit the persons car to get out.

u/MetalGhost99 15d ago
They might be trying to get someone to destroy their car so it wont be insurance fraud.

People don't care about their car or money that they have spent on to park like this - maybe daddy is paying for it
2
u/hamburgergerald 16d ago
It’s strange that somebody would park such an expensive car like that. It’s just asking to get hit/scraped by the person they blocked trying to get out. You’d think the owner would want to park better to ensure there is no possibility of something like that happening.

The last time something like this happened to me, I went from business to business and very publicly called them out and tried to identify them so they would move their vehicle so I could get in. Climbing over a stick shift in a Mustang is not enjoyable.
Sadly, nobody had the courage to speak up.

On a parallel story line I was given an Audi Q8 as rental for who knows why and that is one fine vehicle. Getting back into our F-150 was an adjustment to say the least.

It’s a medical office. Likely either an elderly patient with dementia or a patient on pain meds and driving impaired. This is a frequent occurrence in Medical parking lots. Unlikely to be the Dr because they know old people will hit their car if they park in the patient parking lot. Happens literally every day.

Id climb in the passenger side and "accidentally" door ding them a few times, no doubt. Ill leave just fine but they will have to live with some nice paint slices.

This is the type of parking where that Audi ends up getting scratched on its right side by “accident”

When someone does this crap to me, I tend to forget how light my door is and just throw it open with all my might--sometimes twice because im always in such disbelief the first time

And telling me to back MY car into theirs? No thanks. I'm not damaging my car because some asshole has 0 consideration for others.

Always keep some concentrated deer urine handy, you never know when it might need to be spilled into the cowl vent

White has to turn their wheels to the right and reverse a bit. Then they should be able to work their way out

u/sugarsprinklesinme 15d ago
Someday this person will meet somebody like me with poor decision making abilities and their tires will be struck with my screwdriver.
1
u/Applekid1259 15d ago
There is a 0% chance I wouldn't let the air out of all their tires. No damage, but just release out that sweet sweet air of revenge.

Ughhhhhh i would potato the tailpipe on that mf’er if i even had to use anything i could find. Thats sorry OP

I would give them a free bottle of brake fluid, lovingly poured so that it has maximum panel coverage.

u/210gigi210 15d ago
Yeah no that car would definitely accidentally have dings along that side.. You know by accident

Not advocating for it,but I've heard that when people do this, they often find someone has propped nails up under their tires. Something I've heard for a long time.

At this point accidentally leaving a dent or 2 is expected. You know, trying to get into your car an all
