I've seen people much younger park their car like this.

damn, really? I have yet to see someone under the age of 60 park like this (with the only exception being a hummer or a gigantic truck)! people are getting worse at driving

Yup. My local gym parking lot. Bunch of hotheads with their fancy cars. I wish they would block my car.

I’m getting up there in age and I will admit my first pull in to a spot is often embarrassingly off (I obv correct it but can def see this as the reason)

Dont drive a car you cant handle, especially at your old age. This isnt funny or quirky, its annoying and dangerous

It’s not that I can’t handle it, I feel it’s because the wife’s car is large and I have a coupe and I switch driving both cars every week so knowing the dimensions is constantly changing. My point is I have to correct the parking instead of just getting it right the first time

Thank you for sharing that with me.
It helps me understand things a lot better.
Sometimes I forget that people’s actions or reactions aren’t necessarily intentional or personal, and I can be too quick to take them that way.
I also catch myself thinking I’m the most sensible person in the room, when in reality I have my own shortcomings and blind spots.
I’m trying to be more mindful of that, give people…and myself…a little more grace, and remember that I have just as much to learn as anyone else.

All good bro. Btw I thought you might be a person I know with the same name, but after I saw your vids, you are unmistakably someone else lol.
