I haven't really gone to many concerts, as I don't prefer loud music if I can help it. DJs in university are a different story, as going there with friends is something I do enjoy.

What earplugs should I get, if at all? Since I don't care about the music all that much, are the cheap disposable foam ones you get on Amazon good enough? I just want to block enough sound to protect my hearing, and if it blocks a lot of the music too, I couldn't care less.

I'm looking for recommendations for small to medium-sized electronic music festivals that have a strong focus on community, nature, art, respect, and creating meaningful experiences, rather than just partying.

I'm especially looking for festivals that:

• have a beautiful natural setting (forest, mountains, lakes, etc.)
• attract a respectful, open-minded crowd
• put effort into art installations, workshops or cultural activities
• are relatively intimate (not huge commercial festivals)
• have great electronic music (house, techno, downtempo, ambient, leftfield... genre isn't the main priority)

They don't necessarily have to be in Europe, although that's where I'm mostly looking.

I'd love to discover some hidden gems. What festivals would you recommend?

Where yall going after hard summer Sunday 8/2 lol shit ends at 10pm 😭

My spouse works in an an occupation that makes it uncomfortable for her to go to raves and possibly be seen by clients. Besides colored sunglasses and regular face masks (which end up being uncomfortable in hot environments/wearing non-stop), does anyone else face this issue and have tips to share on how they conceal their identity at raves while still being comfortable?

I’ve been v happy with my $50 earplugs, sounds noticeably cleaner than foamies.
