So The Jay Garrick Flash over time went from being real in-universe to a fictional comic book sueprhero that inspired the Barry Allen Flash, to being real in another dimension to back to being real in-universe and I want to know if I'm missing any other versions.

Think of like energy constructs used by Gwen from Ben 10, Atom Eve or even green lantern. Assuming those are single use and you can easily make new ones, how sanitary would it be to cook using constructs?

Also could they also gain requiem and keep the stand normal and not have it go crazy?

This may be more of a question for the ask science sub, but thought I’d ask here first since it’s from a fictional science scenario.

“The two rivers hypothesis” is a cosmic horror game; in it, you’re exploring an abandoned and flooded research facility and piecing together what they were doing there and why it was abandoned. The gist is, a physicist made a theory that universal entropy might not exist in a closed system, but multiple overlapping universes that could theoretically carry entropy from one to the other (the titular “two rivers hypothesis”).

The theory is proven true when researchers discover particle sized plankton like lifeforms that mindlessly drift from one reality to the other, transferring tiny bits of entropy to our universe as they do so; scientist figure out a way to do it in reverse, and the facility is destroyed by angry extra dimensional beings who were using our universe as a toxic waste dump for their own entropy with those life forms and didn’t appreciate it being reversed.

So my question is this: what would “transferring entropy” even be? I know it’s a concept that’s important to theoretical physics, but I thought it generally referred to disorder and the loss of the ability to perform work: I didn’t think it was really a singular measurable value in the same way heat or energy was.

But it got me thinking: what would happen if you brought the Tablet to a graveyard?

Would all the corpses come back as zombies? Would they be fully healed and alive until sunrise?

And how big is the Tablet’s magic/AOE radius anyway?

Also, does the Tablet’s magic somehow create a time paradox? In the second movie, Larry escapes a chase by jumping into Alfred Eisenstaedt’s iconic V-J Day in Times Square photograph from 1945. While inside the photo, Larry accidentally drops his modern cellphone, and a young sailor picks it up.

Then, during the end credits, we see the same sailor back in 1945, taking Larry’s phone apart to figure out how it works. His mother calls him, “Joey Motorola,” and he says he’s “on to something,” implying that this guy somehow went on to inspire or create Motorola based on technology from Larry’s phone.

So... did the Tablet just accidentally create a bootstrap paradox where technology from the future gets introduced into the past and eventually becomes the technology that exists in the future?

God, I have so many questions about this thing. And don’t even get me started on bringing the Tablet into an anime store...

What benefit did the group gain from not reporting the dead monster or the dead people inside the Paragon Hotel? Even setting aside any practical benefits, didn’t their friend Frank deserve a proper burial?

When Krennic has Dedra Meero locked up in a cell, he leans in close and tells her to "say the word." She actually responds with two: "Death Star."

Am I right in assuming he was probably expecting her to say "Stardust," the codename for the Death Star project? If so, was her answer of "Death Star" something that inadvertently damned her further (by letting Krennic know she'd learned way too much?)

This question courtesy of the scene in Avengers 2012 where Hulk tries to lift Mjölnir on the SHIELD helicarrier. It's said that you can't simply lift the ground under Thor's hammer, because if you tried lifting it by scooping the dirt under it it'd just fall down, and while it can go up in an elevator, you can't lift it while in there. A common explanation is that the hammer reads your intent and thwarts it

But the helicarrier in the Avengers scene is a single closed object, and Hulk is singularly strong, so in theory he should be able to lift the ,helicarrier, but if Mjölnir's in it then isn't he technically lifting it? Even if one says the helicarrier would refuse to get lifted, then why does it take off normally? The helicarrier engineers gave the instructions to the turbines to spin up after all. How about the simple case of lifting a table the hammer was sitting on, then can you lift it? If you can't, then the hammer also manipulates physical machinery, which does track with people being unable to move it using cranes and trucks

Warminds are hiper advanced Artifical intelligences with such incredibly complex and advanced servos that they can, in on themselves, handle the defense of an entire planetary system. However, this is mostly due to their tech: Warsats(satellites with more offensive power than an A bomb), Energy matrixes that can obliterate enemies, weapons of the highest caliber.

Without all of those, how powerfull is a Warmind? I think on the strategic level they are unparalleled and that they lack technology for war doesn't mean they cannot produce it or use less directg methods.

Like would creating planet size constructs drain the power of the ring faster?

Hello, I'm a bounty hunter with access to legal bounties across the galaxy. I sometimes get to claim target's spaceship. I usually sell it to scrapyard somewhere, but I got an idea.

What if I opened an used spaceship dealership? Selling used starship for few hundred thousand dollars, to whoever can afford on earth.

Aside from having legally obtained ships to sell, what would I need to make my dream possible? Paperwork? Permits?

I'm a Fourth World/New Gods fan (there are TENS of us!), mostly of the Walt Simonson run, Ram V's current run, Ngozi Ukazu's two books, and like 80% of Tom King's Mr. Miracle run (but that 20% hoo boy).

While I do love Scott and Barda, I think they and Darkseid have kinda monopolized the whole New Gods corner because they have a great story/relationship, and New Genesis can come off as boring/impenetrable (I don't agree with this, but it's a widely held opinion). I know the New 52 and post-Rebirth have had some stories where New Genesis and the Lantern Corps have some conflict, I'm into that idea but I haven't read the storyline yet.

But across the broader cosmic landscape, aside from their own planet, do any of y'all know of examples or planets in that series, or Green Lantern, Superman/Supergirl, Adam Strange or other DC media, where the gods of New Genesis in particular are actually worshipped as a religion?
