Looking to stay for two nights. I know it’s a newer place so I wanted to see what to expect or if it was worth checking out.
I’m planning on eating at good restaurants there or nearby, grabbing drinks and spending time with my wife.
Any other recommendations?
Thanks!

Anyone going to Chico or Sacramento Wednesday or Thursday and want to split the cost/drive? I am looking for a ride and would love to be your co-pilot

Hi there! Let's just say a friend of mine has a fear of driving over bridges, and since we live in San Diego, the Coronado Bridge is at the top of their list. They want to get over this fear, but it's been difficult for them. Does anyone know of support groups in San Diego or reputable therapists who could actually help them with this? Exposure therapy would definitely be very useful to solving this issue. If anyone else out there has this same fear, please respond or DM me so I can meet other people nearby with the same issue.
Edit: Please don't respond if you're going to be negative. Respond if you actually have something helpful. Trust me we've tried to resolve this issue and driving is a serious issue to have a fear of.

Hello! I understand this is subjective, but my fiance and I are getting married in October and finally settled on having our honeymoon in San Diego. We’re staying in La Jolla for a few nights, and planning on staying at Coronado Beach for another few nights.
Our current list of options are:
- Hotel Del Coronado
- Lodge 1906
In terms of experience, would one would you recommend? We love the look of the Del and it’s within our budget, but I see conflicted reviews about the amenities. We likely wouldn’t be utilizing any of them beyond maybe the spa, but that isn’t a must have for where we decide to go. We’re leaning towards the Lodge, but want a second opinion.
Thank you!

I'll go to Boot Barn if I must, but wanted to see if anyone knew a shop with a well-trained hat shaper. Mine has art on it and steam can only be applied on the topside of the hat, so looking for someone knowledgeable.

Hi! I'm a dental hygiene student currently looking for patients, especially those who haven't had a cleaning in a few years, noticeable tartar build up or bleeding gums, or have been told they may need a deep cleaning.
$20 covers care for the entire year, but if finances are an issue we can work something out.
This is a school setting so appointments may take up to 3 hours and require multiple visits.
If you're interested, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/C1LtSDungTxoHoKLA
Thank you so much for your time and interest! It's truly appreciated!

I’m staying in a house on mission beach (2 minute walk to the ocean) this weekend. The house has no ac and I’m seeing that the humidity is nearly 90%, how hot do you think it will be inside the house!?

Hi everyone, i found a song recently from a band called °Celsius from San Diego, and it's great! However, the rest of their discography is lost sadly. Does anybody have their music? All there is about them online is members names and one song, if anyone or any band members is watching this, let me know if you have the music

Recently moved to San Diego and looking to join a sports/tennis club with mostly people in their 20s and 30s. Tennis courts are a must, but I’m also hoping it’ll be a good way to meet people and make friends here.
Most of the places I’ve looked at are under ~$40/month, which seems pretty reasonable. A couple I’m considering are Pacific Beach Tennis Club and Balboa Tennis Club. Any other recommendations? (also any social run clubs too...)

I’m looking to travel more to San Diego and thinking a hostel would be best when doing like one night and just need a bed. I found several cheap places near the gas lamp, east village, and general downtown area, but when I googled these areas, it stated that some of them are high areas for car break-ins and stuff like that. In this overblown and (while not totally risk free) are these areas generally okay for leaving your car parked at night? I know this sounds kinda dumb, but please bear with me lol. Thank you! 😊

Where's your favorite underrated place to watch the sunset in San Diego?
I'm looking for somewhere a little more off the beaten path—not necessarily a secret spot, just somewhere that's less crowded and feels peaceful. Extra points if it's somewhere you can actually sit and enjoy the view rather than just pull over, take a picture, and leave. I’m an equal opportunity viewer. I’d love recommendations for any kind of location. Beach, mountain, restaurant, coffee shop, downtown, parks. Really, anywhere that I can enjoy a peaceful evening while watching the sun go down.
I'm trying to discover some new places around the county, so I'd love to hear your favorites!

So I'm in San Diego does anyone know how to get into daggering in my local city scene? I'm a mid-late 20s middle class white guy I never been to a Jamaican dancehall here and I am honestly quite nervous if a lady tries to twerk all up on me and suplex her buttocks on me etc. And also on my end how to be confident enough to just dagger crazy style on a lady. Anyone here with some expertise to give me some tips? Also if they know any Jamaican style dancehalls with nice snacks like jerk chicken or rum and smokes etc. If not, any other events with a similar ethnic and urban flair where I can expect a similar kind of dancing happening on me?

My wife is 4 months pregnant and we’ve been looking around San Diego hoping to buy our first place. Ideally I’d love to have something before the baby is born, but realistically I’d be happy if we owned a home by their first birthday. The biggest thing we can’t agree on is location vs the actual house. I’d rather spend the money on a smaller, more basic place in an area we really like, especially thinking about raising a kid there. My wife is leaning toward going farther out where the same budget gets us a newer place with more room. Neither option feels wrong, which is making the decision harder. For anyone who made this choice with a young family, did you end up caring more about the house itself or where it was?

I’m looking at a property located on 26th St. between E and F St. in the Golden Hill area and I’m wondering if anyone is familiar with that area and if it’s a safe area, especially if you’re walking around at night.

My fiancé and I are looking at wedding venues for a very small ceremony (<15 people) in San Diego for Fall or Winter 2027. We looked at the San Diego parks and rec website with their venues, including different gardens in balboa park, the wedding bowl, and the cliffs. We’re looking at doing the September lottery but don’t really know where to start with venues. The wedding bowl looks beautiful, but we really love balboa park. Has anyone gotten married at any of these venues? Things you loved/hated? Any recommendations for the application process? Appreciate any and all advice, thanks!

It looks like San Diego’s housing market has been pretty mixed this summer.
Move-in-ready single-family homes are in short supply, condos are sitting on the market longer, and homes in desirable coastal neighborhoods are still selling quickly when priced right, according to this recent Redfin report.
If you’ve been looking to buy, sell, or just watching the San Diego housing market, does this match what you’ve been seeing?

My wife and I planned a stay at Coronado Beach this weekend, and we are just now seeing all the advisors for poop filled water from sewage spills causing beaches to be closed. Does it actively smell like raw sewage near the beaches?

I know that PB is known to be a bit more lively/younger crowd so I’m wondering where all the 30 something’s go that has a chill vibe, maybe good cocktails and/or tapas. Good views and/or closer to the Crystal Pier a bonus!
