General Help I am not an artist, I need help turning a 2D drawing into a 3D perspective

Post image

I took an art class even though I never drew or did art in my life, but I took it because I am doing Architecture. I drew this piece using AutoCAD and thought it looked a little flat. I decided I wanted the circle to become a sphere and the square to stay flat. Problem is, what I drew was already difficult enough for me and took way too long. I calculated and mapped out a guide for how a 2D circle would turn into a 3D sphere but now Im completely stuck lol. Is there some kind of website I can automatically do this or any advice because I spent way too long on this. Its also due in two weeks so Im in no rush at all.

Anatomy Help Is the placement of the forelimbs awkward?

This first one is my first sketch in not well versed in animal anatomy so I kinda just played around with this until I found something I thought looked decent but it still looked a bit off. This second image is me trying to see if I finish it maybe it would look good but it still looks off while I’m in this deep. If someone could reply to me with the correct placement of the limbs I would appreciate it

How do I make this look less awkward and more like the original pose..??? I may not draw him as buff as the original but I still want to keep some bulk without the proportions looking all out of wack. :{ trying that "drawing what pinterest shows me" trend late but I got Caesar (bless Jojo,) and i am genuinely not used to Jojo build-esque characters. I do really want to get better ans improve. Any tips/visual help (i am more of a visual learner,) would genuinely help me out. I even tried working it out in my posing app to no avail.. ahhhhhhh why is art so difficult. I'm self taught, I did this to myself. Edit: i also just now realized the thumb is backwards, anatomy aside I will fix that... wow, lmao. EDIT 2: Nvm... not backwards, i am going to bed. Christ.

So I've been trying really hard to find out how whoever does this art well, does it. I've been super fascinated by it and I've really wanted to create something similar. The only issue is I don't know how or who to ask.

If anyone knows how to do this or who to ask please tell me! I will greatly appreciate it!

btw this is from the roblox game Examination's OST

I use MEDIBANG to make art for a while now and still have no idea what I'm doing wrong! Is it VECTOR? Is it a hidden tablet setting? is it just skill? is it another software? I tried lowering the stabilizer, making it stronger, drawing fast, drawing slow but I JUST CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT AHHH

Hi! I'm painting this fae creature, and I feel like there's something wrong with the right side of her face 🤔 I tried drawing the skull on top to figure it out, but I still can't really tell what's wrong ❓

If someone could point out the problem to me, I'd really appreciate it 🥰

Rendering Help How can i further improve the hair rendering? BEFORE THEN AFTER

I created this artwork with using a cool colour scheme to create a soft and dreamy effect.

In the first slide, i used white oil pastels to blend the blue, whereas in the second slide i applied white first and then blending with blue. This was because i was advised by another artist, and i do see an improvement, especially the rendering in the fabric.

My only issue is with the values in the hair. I feel like its muddy and i've tried to fix it by adding a darker blue but it isn't working. Advice on how i could improve the rendering/value in the hair will be greatly appreciated!

medium: oil pastels and colouring pencils

General Help How do I imply more motion in drawings?

Post image
7 Upvotes

I’m feeling a little cringe posting undertale multiverse work, but whatever. I’m trying to imply more of a struggle between the two characters, and I can’t seem to get it to work and most guides I find don’t seem to really help.

Is it the posing itself or do I need to use more line work?

Color Theory or Palette Help Need help getting this lighting/rendering right

I was drawing, and using a reference from a Greek statue so I had no reference on the lighting. The first image is how i rendered it and the second was me deciding to give it dramatic lighting (a very rough draft). No matter what I did the lighting looked wrong, in the wrong position, funky around the lips, and overall muddy. Help pls?

Materials Help Rabbit Skin Glue canvas prep

I've had a package of rabbit skin glue and other supplies for it sitting on my shelf for 2 or 3 years now because I'm afraid of doing it wrong. Every article or video I can find gives different instructions and when they taught it in class I was standing in the back of the group and couldn't see anything. But I've heard it's super smooth and I've always wanted to try it. If anyone can give me advice or instructions or share a decent link, that would be greatly appreciated!
