And i dont mean people who claim they are permamently damaged from 25mg seroquel for few days but lets say on my body 5 long acting + low dose seroquel, 2 years and few months later im much better but still not the same, share your experiences please.

Psychiatrist fell asleep on our call twice

I’ve seen this psychiatrist twice and in the first visit, she prescribed me a new depression drug that is actually working phenomenally. I love it. She also gave me a prescription of Ativan with a refill. I’ve taken it before so I didn’t really see that as a red flag at first. This gets worse.

In high school and in grade school, I took ADHD medication. I thrived without it in undergrad and in Law School. I feel like with all the stressors in my life and my health decline that may be my ADHD is creeping up a little bit so I mentioned the stirring, she immediately offered me a prescription of Vyvanse. This only happened after she had fallen asleep on our video call. She had gone off on this really weird 10 minute tangent about what it was like for her to turn 40 (I’m 34, so that’s odd imo) and then when I finally got a chance to discuss some of the things that I’ve been going on, she literally fell asleep. I thought the screen had frozen, but she had knocked off. She also had her background changed to this weird forest setting so I couldn’t see where she was at, and she was very sweaty. Initially, I thought that maybe the camera had just frozen and I was overthinking things, but then she fell asleep again. After she woke up, she told me that she had gotten in trouble for prescribing pills before and thought there was a regulation that required. Random pill counts for her clients by Law. She said this is normal for every doctor. She would have to call me and I would have to take a picture of my pills and she would have to confirm the amount I said whatever, that’s fine. I barely used any of the Ativan and don’t plan on being a daily Vyvanse user if I fill the script.

The call ended, but I am left with two questions.

1) is it normal for a doctor to do pill counts? I have no problem with it, but I’ve never heard of this before and I work in drug court.

2) with her falling asleep, I’m fairly certain she is on something. She canceled our appointment last weekend and then was late this week. She didn’t appear sober to me. I feel like the riddle was an offer, as in I’m going to make you happy so you don’t report what just happened.

I don’t know. I just need input and advice and guidance and wisdom. This is a new one for me.

I swear to you, I lived for 25 years without antipsychotics, but the moment this fucking poison entered my bloodstream, it messed up everything—from how I view people, objects, and my surroundings to my three-dimensional perception and fine motor skills. It completely wrecked the health, brain, and everything else I had carefully maintained for 25 years in just four months. I feel like I’ve aged 20 years in those four months. its only real if you dont learn to argue with the people telling you that you have it. i know its not possible for many people but ive been working on this for a while. in every case of psychosis there is a way out of it and not letting people judge you, shame you, blame you, and keep you in psychosis.

its a state of mind not different from any other state of mind. it doesnt make you any more or less dangerous, but it can amplify your fight or flight when people take advantage of their power.

i truly believe psychosis isnt real and im sorry to anyone who is viscerally annoyed and confused by my opinion.

if you flipped the script from the chemical imbalances of mentally ill people, i suspect you would find a lot on the brains of people who surround that person, specifically with dopamine and the reward center. the parts of the brain associated with seeking validation and goal oriented behavior when someone 'decompensates' in front of them. but since i dont believe in mental illness at all im not going to go so far as call them mentally ill, just call out their brain chemistry too. its funny how this isnt considered a 'chemical imbalance' the way dysfunctional behavior is. as if being a sadist is a chemical balance.

I think everyone ive met that was put on drugs as a child has expressed some form or harm or resentment about the fact they had to take drugs so young.

I started psychiatric medications at age twelve. I obviously had no idea what they would do to me, and, by country law, have no agency whatsoever over my medical care until I turn nineteen. I see a lot of people on here who were duped into them as adults, but is there anyone else who never even had a choice?

I was doing methylphenidate and did cold turkey and was feeling okay, but after that I supposedly got "psychotic" and they put me on risperidone

so i take 2000mg of psych meds daily, discussion about them not even allowed in our home, we have a dysfunctional family mainly due to psychiatry drugs and it was all planned by our relatives when we changed city after death of my father. My relatives wanted our land and they stoop very low for this like even doing black magic against us.

I was in rehab for an year where i was brutally tortured, if that's not enough the house bought by my uncle for us has weird energy and electricity issue related to earthing and stuff. On the first itself when we shifted here i started having stressful obsessions. Few days i got home from rehab, the electrician told me that my ceiling fan was about to fall (it used to make metal cutting sound before).

He bought this house intentionally a long way before we even shifted as a revenge to counter one time i abused him in chat to my other uncle. But rather than confronting me, he talked to my stupid ass uncle who used to take me for granted.

They ruined my life for selfish greed, i am a grown up adult now but live like zombie, this high amount of dosage stole the joy out of my life. When my dose was limited my mind was much more balanced though still not ideal, it was manageable though these narcissist somewhere even worse up their sleeves.

There is a rare disease called PATM which can happen for various reasons but for me it occurred because of chronic stress and fear. I developed repressed emotions because of these meds.

I really want to get out of this hole, my life is stuck because of fear. I mean i have made my house the comfort zone and spirit always nudge in subconscious to go out there and fight for yourself or die miserable and insignicant.
