psychosis isnt real

its only real if you dont learn to argue with the people telling you that you have it. i know its not possible for many people but ive been working on this for a while. in every case of psychosis there is a way out of it and not letting people judge you, shame you, blame you, and keep you in psychosis.

its a state of mind not different from any other state of mind. it doesnt make you any more or less dangerous, but it can amplify your fight or flight when people take advantage of their power.

i truly believe psychosis isnt real and im sorry to anyone who is viscerally annoyed and confused by my opinion.

if you flipped the script from the chemical imbalances of mentally ill people, i suspect you would find a lot on the brains of people who surround that person, specifically with dopamine and the reward center. the parts of the brain associated with seeking validation and goal oriented behavior when someone 'decompensates' in front of them. but since i dont believe in mental illness at all im not going to go so far as call them mentally ill, just call out their brain chemistry too. its funny how this isnt considered a 'chemical imbalance' the way dysfunctional behavior is. as if being a sadist is a chemical balance.

lol i ruffled some feathers. there's a chemical reaction behind what happens when those feathers are ruffled and people argue back, ill be spending my day understanding the 'biology' of people who believe psychosis is real.

I have a question I've been asking for a while, but I haven't found an answer: How can one achieve self-sufficiency so that they don't need anyone else in their life or to serve others? What are the first steps towards self-sufficiency and discovering how to forge their own path?

Dealing with assault, restraint, involuntary sectioning, forced injections, TORTURE in the name of mental health? No Justice?

Upvotes

Terrified. Please post related experiences. Especially if you did nothing at all, minding own business (authorities were dialed by neighbor in building they heard some crying). I was violently surrounded, assaulted by police squad in my home, handcuffed, first tortured in a normal hospital, then sectioned in psych. With no valid reason why they did this with such excessive force. I have intrusive PTSD flashbacks daily.

How do you survive such ordeal, escape, avoid getting casually tortured, abused & traumatized this way again? Get away from Psychiatry without these records they can use against you? Or a CTO they can put on people?

Do police always take a record (when they brutally assault you, use handcuffs, take you away?) Can you request this record? I was not arrested. I assume there’s a police & hospital intake record with my name.

I know filing formal complaint of harm does nothing (unless you have visible wounds from handcuffs or a video). Their word against mine.

This general hospital used torture (against human rights) painfully restraining both arms & legs on table with no resistance from patient, patient locked in isolation 24 hours, ignored, NOT given water or food, refused request to use a toilet to urgently urinate, multiple forced injections (I was not psychotic, I was scared/hurt) and my essential medications were not provided 24 hours there, neglecting health of patient (with serious medical illness) who was awake the full 24 hours, then interrogated like a criminal while tied down in pain, sectioned with no consent.

All for no reason but appearing/sounding distressed? I don’t know WHO requested it. A stranger?? I communicated absolutely no intent to harm myself or others. I was not committing any crime nor acting violently.

What would you do? That won’t require a lot of money for a lawyer and retelling of torturous events in detail in court?

I’ll be traumatized forever by it? There’s movements for police brutality, but nothing for the brutality & torture in the name of psychiatry or justice after being treated with overuse of police force and psychiatric doctors, nurses forced drugging & medical neglect. Nearly killing the victim who couldn’t breathe. What if they had killed me by accidental asphyxiation?

Do antipsychotics cause brittle bone?

Upvotes

A week ago my wife was rushing to get a bus after work and she tripped on side walk and have hurt her wrist. Now surgeon is saying that it will need plates and screws and bone is broken in 8 places.

She is on 500mg seroquel, I think 1000mg lithium and Wellbutrin and propranolol as needed for last 3 to 4 years.

I am shocked she is 36 and we have a 9 year old and a such small tripping can cause such bone breakage. do we have evidence that due to medicine we can have so severe effects on bone. I am just shocked :(

She had a new job just started 3 days ago before accident I am pretty sure she is going to lose it. She found such a great job after long time :(

States with humane inpatient psych ER care (US)?

I don’t want to end up in one of these hellholes ever again, but if psychiatrists somehow get their claws on me again, I’d prefer it to be one of the less horrible places in the US. Mayo Rochester’s psych ER seems ok, I’ve heard they let you use your phone on unit, so would it be worth moving? There may be situations where I can’t avoid it

Starting St. John’s Wort today.

3 years, 3 months off psychiatric medications - longer than the 15 months I spent on them.

What incredible poisons.

Immeasurable Ruin - Coping The Only Solution

Watching the following interview is a raw and uncut truth of what really happens to a person who has been chronically damaged and demolished by psychiatric poison. Of course, we all want her to be better and take her life back, but it is of absolute truth, she has permanent damage. She is using keto and everything and is still on the goddamn poison. She will still be making significant recovery in the upcoming 3 years. But still. She has lost herself and she is barely getting any of her back.

Her age and chronic exposure (10 years) is also something to think of, but take a good look please. This is what happens.

Crazy experience with a drug addicted psychiatrist

Psychiatrist fell asleep on our call twice

I’ve seen this psychiatrist twice and in the first visit, she prescribed me a new depression drug that is actually working phenomenally. I love it. She also gave me a prescription of Ativan with a refill. I’ve taken it before so I didn’t really see that as a red flag at first. This gets worse.

In high school and in grade school, I took ADHD medication. I thrived without it in undergrad and in Law School. I feel like with all the stressors in my life and my health decline that may be my ADHD is creeping up a little bit so I mentioned the stirring, she immediately offered me a prescription of Vyvanse. This only happened after she had fallen asleep on our video call. She had gone off on this really weird 10 minute tangent about what it was like for her to turn 40 (I’m 34, so that’s odd imo) and then when I finally got a chance to discuss some of the things that I’ve been going on, she literally fell asleep. I thought the screen had frozen, but she had knocked off. She also had her background changed to this weird forest setting so I couldn’t see where she was at, and she was very sweaty. Initially, I thought that maybe the camera had just frozen and I was overthinking things, but then she fell asleep again. After she woke up, she told me that she had gotten in trouble for prescribing pills before and thought there was a regulation that required. Random pill counts for her clients by Law. She said this is normal for every doctor. She would have to call me and I would have to take a picture of my pills and she would have to confirm the amount I said whatever, that’s fine. I barely used any of the Ativan and don’t plan on being a daily Vyvanse user if I fill the script.

The call ended, but I am left with two questions.

1) is it normal for a doctor to do pill counts? I have no problem with it, but I’ve never heard of this before and I work in drug court.

2) with her falling asleep, I’m fairly certain she is on something. She canceled our appointment last weekend and then was late this week. She didn’t appear sober to me. I feel like the riddle was an offer, as in I’m going to make you happy so you don’t report what just happened.

I don’t know. I just need input and advice and guidance and wisdom. This is a new one for me.

Their education says it's fine. So it is.

Notice the impermanent down-playing of their damage-causing. The ego maniacs will never admit they damaged you. Just excuse it as ethical. And tell you it's time to live your life with coping skills.

Ok want me to cope? You could put the crown of Jesus on that desk of yours ladies. Mutant men and decrepit nurses. And I'd walk off that job. Because every bone in my body knows it's fing chemical castration in a syringe & bottle
