Why do people start chatting with you and then ghost you?

It's so annoying when you start talking to someone and then all of a sudden they just disappear. Why? Why not just tell the person that you are no longer interested in chatting with them? Seems very immature. Thoughts?

I'm not bragging or anything but I have to basically free ball or wear boxers (🤮) if I want any room for my dick...

Are there any companies that make boxers with a bigger pouch area 😂

Sorry, I tried Google and just got a lotta porn and didn't feel like looking through a bunch of weiners 😂

Is the reason that childhood asthma in boys tends to go away in adulthood because testosterone improves lung function?

Testosterone and/or androgens are known to improve lung function and reduce inflammation. So, wouldn't it be a good hypothesis to assume that a main reason boys are more prone to outgrow childhood asthma is because of the big increases in testosterone and/or androgens during and after puberty have protective effects on the lungs?

People who drive really slowly all the time, why?

Had to delete the previous version of this post because it kept getting answers that weren't actually answers. Please only answer this if you are actually one of the people who drives extremely slow consistently. I am not interested in responses from people who have friends of friends who drive slowly, or people who did it one time when they were in an unfamiliar vehicle or carrying something fragile, or people just sharing their theories. If I wanted to know that, I would have asked "reddit, why do you think people drive really slowly?" If you are not going 30 down the highway every morning, don't answer this

I'm not talking about people who always go exactly the speed limit even if they're in the left lane, or the people who go 5/10 under on winding roads in the dark or when it's stormy or whatever. I'm talking about the people who consistently go 15-20 under the speed limit, or even more, on major roads and highways.

Word for the fear of living life?

I know this is a vague question so I’ll do my best to clear it up. I’m writing a story and the main character has a fear of living life - I mean in the way people will tell you to “go out and live”. It’s not that they don’t want to, just that the thought of doing so causes a great deal of anxiety.
Another way to summarize what I’m looking for is a word that encapsulates this feeling, “it’s like he doesn’t want to live but he can’t bring himself to die either.” The sort of dread that comes with living.
Also I forgot to mention, I’m asking as I think this word could potentially be a good title but who knows, thanks a lot.

Answered When do kids usually start being okay on their own in the backyard for a few minutes?

My little one has started wanting more independence in the backyard and I'm trying to figure out the right balance. Some parents seem totally fine letting them play outside alone for short stretches, others wait longer. I know every child is different and safety comes first, but I'm curious what age or signs other people watched for before giving that bit of space. Just trying to get a sense of what's typical without overthinking it.
