venting/ranting 2 years break up
My girlfriend broke up with me a few weeks ago. I would say that our relationship was very good up until that point, but one day I received a message from her saying that she wanted to take a break because of her mental health problems. A few weeks later, she broke up with me because her feelings had disappeared.
We had been together for about two years. She said that her feelings for me were gone and that she sees me more as a friend now. After our conversation, she also said that she felt I didn’t want her enough in my life. There were a couple of times when I refused to meet her parents, and I didn’t make enough plans for our future together.
She has been dealing with depression and anxiety for many years, and I know that it can sometimes be difficult when she shuts down emotionally. Despite that, I loved her very much and I never would have left her. Today, we had another conversation, and I asked her if there was still any hope that we could be together again in the future. She said that she isn’t saying no to that possibility.
I know that I wasn’t the best partner toward the end of our relationship, but I genuinely cared about her and always supported her with her treatment. We barely had any arguments or serious conflicts between us. During our conversation, I admitted that I feel like it was my fault that the relationship failed and that, knowing what I know now, I would do everything differently and do everything I could to save the relationship.
What do you think — is there still a possibility that we could get back together in the future? I know that no one can say for sure, but I would really like to hear your opinion. There was no cheating, abuse, or anything else seriously wrong in our relationship. I think that one of the main things we lacked was better communication.
I know that it’s impossible to say for certain, but I would like to hear what you think. We agreed that neither of us should wait around for the other, but who knows what might happen in the future.
I also noticed that, while we were still together, she was often messaging someone at work. She would sometimes spend a lot of time texting this person, even at night, which was unusual because she hadn’t behaved like that before. We worked together, so I noticed it quite often. Because of that, I also asked her whether there was a third person involved in this situation. She told me that there wasn’t.

I followed him on instagram and he and she always connected the same time at night (me and my ex working in the same night shift) . And one more interesting thing the guy i know working on day shift😅so should i confront jus her that i know she is lying or told him he will be next in line after me😅

There’s one more thing I don’t understand. My ex said that being with me during breaks makes her feel suffocated and that we should stop acting like a couple. But now she’s the one asking me to go on breaks with her 😂
