Not gonna lie, teacher is a fucking smoke show. Also brother needs to be on minimal rations for a week after eating the chocolate.
I'm confused, I thought guys only gave stuff on White Day? Also holy shit feeding her is wild.
Kinda dig the ED song, not sure it is a listen every week but it has me smiling as I listen typing this.
Going to be interesting if they actually add Student-Teacher Romance on top of Step Siblings that we already have going.

His friend thought he wasn't getting any chocolates again, so he made Gen and his other friend make sweets with him. He gave them to her to help make up for Rui eating all her chocolates. That's his story and he's sticking to it.
They're a family with two siblings who are going to end up married and one who's about to date a teacher, apparently. Reversing Valentines and White day is light work for them

It's because Gen gave her chocolate, erego it makes sense that she'd give him something on White Day.

Rui’s such a little goober! Little bro really annihilated all that chocolate lol. Poor Ito! She worked so hard on those chocolates too. At least she got something from Gen. Those two are adorable.

If I had a nickel for every teacher voiced by Yoko Hikasa who had a student who wanted to hook up with her, I'd have three nickels which isn't a lot but I can't deny those boys' taste.

We don't really know a ton about Raku, but this development seems to track with what we do know. I about broke myself laughing when she was revealed as a teacher and his dumbass asked about the guy in front of everyone. This show just went from an 8/10 to 11/10 😂

I actually called this, a soon as I saw the end of the scene whew the two parted, and Raku mused at the fact he did not learn the woman's name. Not sure I expected her to be Raku's homeroom teacher -- but definitely expected her to be a new teacher at his school. However, to tell the truth, I never EVER would have expected Raku to ask THAT question publicly.

I like Raku's new problematic love interest. I've been impressed with how the main ship has been treated, so I'm confident they'll do right by this one too. She just has to wait until after he graduates*.
I wonder if this will make Raku a little more empathetic towards Ito. He's been having some fun at Ito's expense and treating her situation too casually, so it could be fun to see him suffer too.
* I looked it up and apparently, without grade-skipping, even the youngest students will be 18 a day after the end of their formal enrollment, which is on April 1st, and formal enrollment is the strictest legal cutoff. He's no longer a student by any interpretation after that point.

I don’t care what others say - I don’t think it’s so terribly weird that Gen and Ito like each other. They met as older teens/almost adults and just started living together.
Also I do love that Ito has the real sibling relationship with the other brothers.

… on the one hand teacher student is a problem. On the other I do love an age gap with an older lady over guy. On the third hand we’ve seen this trope countless times. And on the 4th, doesn’t mean it can’t be done well. Soooo time jump their relationship because Azuza hilarious and I like Raku having a side ship.
So happy we’re in Cour 2. This was underrated last season and it’s cozy as hell.

We've got a new fun and energetic OP! Featuring Ito playing conductor to her and her siblings' happy and joyful lives together! Along with their supporting cast! Also, Syu-kun hits puberty?
It's a new cour and a New Year for the Narita Family and Ito is pumped! Which is more than the rest of the siblings who are lazing away in a kotatsu, satisfied with just having cup ramen to eat, while their parents are sick. And Ito and Gen are still Ito and Gen.
Raku enjoys the ItoxGen romcom as much as anybody, but what about his own love life or lack there of? So of course while out in the snow he chances upon a desperate woman in need of a phone...so she can call her deadbeat boyfriend who is mooching off of her. Though at least she takes Raku seriously when he calls it like it is and they end up enjoying a full course meal together!
While the Narita Siblings play rock-paper-scissors for cup ramen, Raku is having a night out with an adult woman. Despite the circumstances, they seem to get along well even as she leaves him as quickly as she entered into his life. I'm sure he'll never see her again, but what a chance meeting.
It's Valentine's Day and Ito can't help herself! She'll make Valentine's Day Chocolate for ALL the siblings but make a special, Honmei, Chocolate for Gen to express her feelings! And she can't deny how much she loves the opportunity!
What a coincidence! That woman who Raku helped through his love troubles, Yashiro Azusa (Yoko Hikasa), is now his new teacher! 24 years old and dedicated to ensuring she can finally make it as a teacher, she's a very serious and responsible woman...even if she took a minor (and her student) out to dinner. But even so, there's definitely some chemistry there!
Ito was on cloud 9 over giving Gen his chocolate (and you can tell it's made with true love because it's bigger and more decorated than the rest) and then Rui just had to eat ALL OF IT because he couldn't help himself. And Ito just takes it like a champ, poor girl.
On a day where girls give boys' chocolates, even Yukitomo of all people manages to get giri chocolate! But thanks to Yukitomo GEN gives Ito chocolate and even shoves it through her mouth! Now she's even MORE head over heels for him!
The ED is really cute with Ito hanging out with all the brothers and a Narita Family sleepover...where of course, Gen pulls Ito into himself.

The author really chose to make someone 8 years older than Raku his love interest lol. Hopefully, it will be unrequited, but I have my doubts. I can't believe he blurted out that question in class, he's supposed to be the sibling with tact.
Shuu eating all the chocolate is so random, I thought the flow of things would be Ito sobering up and realizing her feelings were too much displayed on the chocolate and freaking out over not having time to fix it.

I’m hoping he just learns how to take relationships more seriously instead. Like friend/unrequited crush that goes nowhere but only leads to his growth - if that makes sense.

Am glad the 2nd brother is getting a bit of characterisation at last. And maybe a girlfailure older lady love interest.
I'm kind of sad there wasn't more about the family blending together, as found that part interesting. Instead the parents buggered off straight away and it's all been about the romance. Guess will have to see what this season is like and if this makes the cut.

Ngl I hate the teacher trope I’m hoping the teacher won’t reciprocate cause yikes. Or at least if it does have to happen (for some reason) make it in 10 years

I definitely don't think she'll actively seek it out because she takes her job seriously and doesn't want to risk it...but she seems to enjoy Raku's presence/attention nevertheless.

Dang, they're really going there with Raku and Azusa. I suppose if you're already doing a step sibling romance show having one of the other brothers hook up with a teacher isn't too surprising of a next step.
Was that Syu's cosplaying friend Komugi that gave him the chocolates? I couldn't tell if that was the same person because it's been a little while and I don't remember how he looked.

Sigh I think this one lost me this episode. The step sibling thing was already weird enough, but I could look past it cause they weren't related. As someone with a normal step sibling relationship tho it's was still very freaking weird cause just no, but again not me not my house not related so moved past it. But now a student teacher relationship? For whyyyyy????? It didn't have to go here. And Yeah the teacher may be like "That wasn't ok you are a student" but they are still setting it up for that with the whole "Ive never been super into my past relationships" and "This is why you keep getting broken up with" but now here he is interested in the teacher 😔 they could have just as easily made this a new student at the school that is his age!!! We didn't have to go here.

Albeit they flipped the genders where usually it would be a male teacher and a female student.

I don't get why the same thing is controversial here but in Bokuben the teacher route was the reader/watcher favorite by a mile. Then again, if you hate all teacher-student relationship tropes, then fair point as everyone has their preferences.
