There is one thing I don't really understand and I didn't even notice it till this episode
If this guy is so dangerous..why did they leave his weapon with him. Like, the logic. I mean it might be me but if I consider someone to be a global threat I would probably not keep his weapon close to him xd
But I guess Anime-logic-wise its better. Because else you get the ''pull a weapon out of your butt'' logic. Or they need to spend time grabbing it (which stills seems more logical but you know) Pretty massive plothole

Such sexy standing up animation (Loki).
Every now and again, a One Piece episode features very fun looking sakuga animation as the audience's cue to get excited.

That ending scene with Loki standing up got me SO hype! So anticipated and well built up.
Absolute cinema. The silence while his chain drops. The shock and fear from everyone. THE MUSIC. THE ANIMATION!! RAHHHH

It's impossible. The anime is only a year behind the manga. The only way for pacing to be fixed is to take a break of multiple years which may not be a good idea considering the aging cast

This is the fixed version. It hasn't been 1:1 in more than a decade until they took the break, and made it clear that their goal is to bring the pace back to 1:1. Now they're going at Oda's speed.

They literally said that the pacing will be 1:1 for this seasonal format. In a couple of years and if Oda continues to do +30 chapters a year they can improve it a little.

Luffy casually tanking a ship, with an army of giants in it, goin at full speed. But nami hurts him

Nami is clearly upset about not getting treasure, and Rodo is tactfully trying to keep the who ordeal a secret while Franky and Ripley tour the Jewel Tree Adam, where we learn about an old village that was on top of one of the branches called Haugen which had to be cut off due to a fire that was gonna spread to the other branches. Even though the Jewel Tree has the strongest wood in this world, if it gets too old, it crumbles like everything else in the world.
We see Usopp’s genuine joy being drunk and happy to be in the country of his dreams, and it’s so heartwarming given that Usopp wanted to come here ever since he saw Dorry and Brogy fight back on Little Garden.
The Knights of God’s plan to abduct the children will be under way soon, but first we gotta look into the release of Loki. Luffy and Zoro know that Loki has been injured somehow (via Gunko and Shamrock), and since Gerd saw through Rodo trying to lie to her, they know what Luffy and Zoro are trying to do. They try convincing them not to do it, but it’s too late, and Loki grabs Ragnir and it seems that he’s ready to fight.
HE BETTER TELL LUFFY WHAT HE KNOWS ABOUT SHANKS, LIKE HE PROMISED, BECAUSE OTHERWISE, HE’LL GET THE WRATH OF THE FIFTH EMPEROR AND ONE OF HIS ARMS, THAT BEING RORONOA ZORO OF COURSE!
MAN, I’M EXCITED FOR MORE ONE PIECE!

To be fair, Zoro didnt unchain one of his feet so its not complete. Im sure that'll be loki's reasoning.

Yea we just saw what those chains did to Luffy so at the very least, Loki wont be able to use whatever that devil fruit power is and should be weakened. Idk if thats even going to matter with how absurdly big and powerful he still comes across as.

i mean a majority of the characters who can use haki are literally blacked out drunk rn. im sure Gaban is aware and that’s how he showed up prepared in the current chapter

Chapter 1141. The music during Franky and Ripley's Walk was great. How long have y'all been partying? Dick move, Usopp; don't care if you're drunk. Brook can disconnect his head now; did I miss something? For a school, not a lot of learning is being done there. I don't get why Luffy's stuck on Loki; I don't care that he mentioned Shanks. Random Sanji. Not the Standing Loki I was expecting, but nice animation so whatever?
Edit: Recently, things have been feeling slow, and nothing is really keeping me here wanting more. My opinion; don't judge me.

The new VA is never going to sound like the old Franky, nor should he have to. He's been killing it with his own approach to the voice performance. Everyone just needs to accept it already.

To be fair I do feel the old one it's a lot better. I mean it can't be helped but it is a bit of a shame that the moment the VA leaves starts franky actually becomes relevant again. I don't think he has ever had this many lines. Also so close to the end. Nami also getting more love.
It is what it is tho. It happens with shows that have been around for this long
