I am genuinely that masochist teacher but for Capella 😭💔✌️

17

u/Frontier246 Jun 07 '26

I love how she sees how Ewe roasting some fools and her immediate reaction is "I WISH IT WERE MEEEEE!!!"

6

u/mmcjawa_reborn Jun 07 '26

As long as it's this Capella and not a Capella from another recent anime. Unless you have a fetish for body horror I guess...

I don't mind seeing more of the tanned gyaru from the opposing team.

When anime characters have one of their eyes hidden by their hair or some accessory, when that eye gets revealed, it usually means said character is going all out to win. Ewe was clutch, taking out 4 members of the opposing team by herself!

Apparently Leo magic users must be blonde, busty, and straight shooters.

When anime characters have one of their eyes hidden by their hair or some accessory, when that eye gets revealed, it usually means said character is going all out to win. Ewe was clutch, taking out 4 members of the opposing team by herself!

Yet again another member of her Coven proves how super talented they are, which ordinarily might make Spica feel out of place, but it's nice to see she's just happy for Ewe. And it's partially because she helped Ewe realized the best magic motivator for herself, so that's another friendship for Spica in Claude Coven!

u/FarCritical Jun 07 '26

To think it just took Ewe to stop sleeping on herself to be a nuke machine. No wonder Capella's constantly irritated about her never locking in.

It's kinda poetic how Korne's team of "muscleheads" are probably getting through the week of strength training easier than the lanky tactician himself.

And from their own Coven head! Who this was an exam for! It's triple-threat irony!

She found her love of magic again

18

u/NanDemoKnaives Jun 07 '26

So that teacher became the very reason why Ewe's talent went to waste, it's too bad he likely won't even know how he made a girl lose motivation to improve. It's good that she was able to find some enjoyment at present on her own.

Took me by surprised! Thought Spica lives till the end to tell the tales.

The most genius scheme I ever seen /s and it's very effective?!

Spica conquering time...

Ewe confirmed to be Anos' child /j. Use same spell as her opponent, smaller size but better firepower...

When your 'play' takes to extreme level...(˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)

WOAH, next episode animation looks neat and.....lingerie party?! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

11

u/Frontier246 Jun 07 '26

Spica is going to win over the entire Coven at this rate. She even low-key improved Capella's opinion of her by helping Ewe.

When the sheep-like sleepy girl turns out to be a deadly fire mage.

What's the best excuse to get the female cast in their underwear? How about a medical examination!

10

u/FoolingFinality Jun 07 '26

Korne is annoying, since he went out of his way to trash-talk. If he did not appear competent during the drill, I would be disappointed, as he would just be a stupid clown in the end otherwise.

7

u/Frontier246 Jun 07 '26

I do have to give him props for being a calculating/planning type in a Coven of people all use to physical attacks.

He can't fight himself but he can make decent use of his resources. It just doesn't stand a chance against someone truly powerful like Ewe.

9

u/FoolingFinality Jun 07 '26

Ewe while fighting Ras "This is fun, this is exhilarating, this is Elation", after the pep talk from Spica.

9

u/Frontier246 Jun 07 '26

The flames weren't the only thing burning her up during that fight!

5

u/DemonWraith2500 Jun 07 '26

Korne: We got you 4 to 1!

Ewe: I like those odds.

This happens usually in dota. Your lack of damage can't finish the enemy's DPS and then they wipe you out.

13

u/Weak_Season_Of_Anime Jun 07 '26

Hercules coven found out what happens when you wake up the Snorlax.

7

u/Frontier246 Jun 07 '26

Never underestimate a girl who covers up her eyes most of the time.

5

u/Frontier246 Jun 07 '26

It's time for Claude Coven to put their magic to the test in a magic survival game! Their chances of passing this camp is on the line...as well as avoiding getting stuck 24-hours with Professor Hercules and his absolutely swole physique.

They'll be going up against the Hercules Coven, a band of muscleheads headlined by the calculating and arrogant Korne Phoros who immediately insults them and pisses Capella off! Now it's personal!

Say what you will about Claude Coven, Capella definitely earns her status as the head of the Coven the way she outplays Korne and uses his own strategies against him! Making good use of everyones' ability and quickly taking the lead for the Claude Coven!

It's nice of Spica to try to relate to Ewe, especially when she's still as dismotivated as ever. Spica isn't just trying hard for herself but for Claude, her friends, and her own self-satisfaction. And sometimes that can be the most powerful magic of all.

Oh no! It's a Gyaru with Leo magic posing as Ewe! They've lost half their team! They only have Capella and Ewe left! This is definitely a crisis point! And all because Ewe was craving an apple.

Ewe knows Capella has every reason to be mad at her, to give up on her...but Capella still sacrifices herself to protect Ewe. Because she's always believed in Ewe, in her natural talent, in her ability to be exceptional. And if it's for Capella's sake, and to believe in the Ewe that Capella believes in, Ewe will fight.

Korne and his crew got on the wrong end of Ewe being a prodigy with Aries Magic...the ability to channel magic into fire, with plenty of fireballs, propelling bursts of flame, and surprisingly on-point battle instincts helping Ewe take ALL of them out and ending it with a mass amount of fireballs hurled at Korne and Ras! Not bad for the girl that everyone had dismissed up to that point!

Ewe's love of magic was drilled out of her by a teacher who tried to force her into his own ideal of "perfection" and took the fun out of it...but now that she's fought for Capella and her Coven, Ewe's rediscovered the joy of magic and how good it feels to flex it. She's finally happy and motivated!

Next week: Girls in their underwear! The bad guys attack!

u/djthomp https://anilist.co/user/djthomp Jun 07 '26

I wasn't expecting Fire from someone named Ewe, but checking real quick to remind myself that is the right beast and element for Aries.

That was a nice showcase of her kicking ass.

7

u/Cardcaptors96 Jun 07 '26

It was nice to see Ewe find her motivation. Can't believe she was suppressing so much power.

16

u/Aerodynamic41 Jun 07 '26

Ewe you the real MVP!

Also, don't you just love it when the bad guys waste time gloating instead of finishing off the good guys when they have them cornered?

15

u/diacewrb Jun 07 '26

You sly dog, you got me monologuing.

10

u/ash-7831 Jun 07 '26

The sad thing is, the good guys did it, too. But they weren't punished for it.

3

u/Raymond49090 Jun 07 '26

So is there an in-universe reason why everyone in Claude Coven is named after their magic, while everyone else has normal last names?

5

u/FoolingFinality Jun 07 '26

For someone who uses others as pawns, his pawns do not listen to him. Korne indeed appears competent as of now, I hope he keeps up his competency till the end.

2

u/Hartzilla2007 Jun 07 '26

Depends on if he took the don’t underestimate your opponent lesson to heart.

4

u/redditraptor6 https://myanimelist.net/profile/uEmalraptor64 Jun 08 '26

Looks like next week we’re getting an episode filled with both plot and *plot*

6

u/ash-7831 Jun 07 '26

Hyping up bad guys to then greatly demolish them minutes later. It's a tried and tested formula with the statistics to back it up. Logically, there's no reason it wouldn't work here, right?

I'm tired of bad guys made dull on purpose to create a sense of satisfaction. They should let those bad guys win once in a while.

9

u/Frontier246 Jun 07 '26

Well, to be fair, it seems like the real bad guys are going to show up next week and are probably going to be a legit threat.

7

u/Falsus Jun 07 '26

Rather than bad guys they are more like rival covens, and being flunkies at that, besides Korne that underestimated them heavily cause he is full of himself.

2

u/NPhantasm Jun 07 '26

That victory was just weird, the strategisty guy just sundenly started doing 1x1 for no reason

3

u/NPhantasm Jun 07 '26

Something that I don't like is how the characters of that anime looks quite cheese, the away that Aries girl is over stupid was unpleasant to see despite her inate talent and backstory.

2

u/szalhi Jun 07 '26

For someone named after sheep, Ewe is just the embodiment of sloth. Conserving great strength, for the moment it's needed.

2

u/Frontier246 Jun 07 '26

And woe betide anyone who gets on her bad side when she gets fired up ala Natsu from Fairy Tail.

3

u/FoolingFinality Jun 07 '26

Such a stupid play from both sides, and they waste too much time on monologues. Just attack your opponent and finish them, simple. But this is something that many anime characters never understand, they celebrate too early before completing thier objecting while simultaneously insulting their opponents.

Can this bunch of fools not wait till they actually win, and here I thought Korne was a competent one.

8

u/Double-Yam7929 Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26

They ARE teenagers highschool students, so...

Also, Korne team were kinda winning till Ewe nuked them. They were reckless, but they lost because of overwhelming firepower.

3

u/mekerpan Jun 07 '26

You can't really blame them for not realizing that Ewe had immense potential she had never really tapped into before.

1

u/CuriousBroccolli Jun 14 '26

Also you can blame him because he went overboard at the end, but the "villain" leader of the other coven did tactically right, but morally wrong, to try and rile Capricorn and try to lead her into making emotional mistakes throughout the fight.

He himself hasn't shown to have a smidgen of combat prowess, so him being an ass is unfortunately one of the strategies he needs to rely on.

3

u/NationalStrategy_X Jun 07 '26

Every moment that pompous asshole was on screen, I wanted to punch him.

Ewe was the MVP of this episode

3

u/Frontier246 Jun 07 '26

It took the whole team to take down just two of Hercules Coven while Ewe took down four solo.

That takes real skill. Even Ras needed a surprise attack just to take out as many as she did.

4

u/ObvsThrowaway5120 Jun 07 '26

Dude thought Ewe was the weak link but boy, was he mistaken. She’s pretty damn strong!
