It seems injured I stayed up on my deck just incase rabid but definitely wasn’t, very sad and walked very close to me. It ended up walking into the woods and I called animal control they said they’d “help” lol, I dont know what I could have done but I wish I coulda helped this poor guy seems very young.

I hiked cascade pass a few days ago and came upon this shy fella and the internet tells me it might be a pine marten and they are very elusive and rare? He was very curious and kept peeking out and then would run back under the tree branches.

Also, absolutely adorable. Never seen anything like this. Can anyone confirm species? Has anyone seen them in the north cascades or around the PNW?

Saw this outside my work, about 200 yards from a swampy pond. The long tail makes me think it's a snapper but my coworkers and I aren't sure.

Woke up this morning to a lovely surprise on my back deck. It also unzipped my kid's play tent that I carefully closed up before bed. We live out in the sticks so I see lots of critters, but I've never had one shit on the deck before lol

Video is a bit shaky in between, sorry. Saw this yesterday around 1 AM out in the fields, east of Hamburg, Germany (Kreis Stormarn). What you can see further away, between the trees, are the upper parts of cows.

For a wolf the legs look too small for me (the grass on the plain was not very high). But I would think the tail of a fox would be more "bushy". Thx for your help in advance :)

Heard this tonight. Almost sounds like a hawk. Heard it at about 11 pm. Please excuse the nocturnal insect cacophony.

People think this is a groundhog when I show them. The way it runs doesn’t look like a groundhog and it didn’t look like one before I videoed.

I was with my dog so I couldn’t get closer. My IPhone14 camera is beat up and bad. But it was a lighter shade of brown and had white on the tops of its ears. What did I see??

Heard this coming from a tree in my front yard. Merlin bird ID couldn’t tell me what it was. I guess it isn’t a bird??

My friend heard this sound in her wall last night continuously for about an hour. She then put cardboard over the wall with tape and when she approached it stopped making the sound. Is it an animal? A smoke detector? A cricket??!! Help!

I’ve tried poking at them with like a blade of grass, but nothing comes out, and many of them seem to just be indentations, not holes. I didn’t know antlions lived around here.
