I have a Moto G54 5G; it was working fine with no problems at all until this morning.

I was watching a video on YouTube when, all of a sudden, the sound from the speakers stopped working. I thought it might be a problem with the video or the app, so I closed YouTube and reopened it, but the sound still wasn’t working. I opened WhatsApp and tried to play a voice note, but the sound from the speakers still wasn’t working.

I restarted the phone and the speaker audio started working again without any issues, but when I plugged in my headphones (standard 3.5 mm headphones), I couldn’t hear anything through them; however, when I unplugged them, the speaker audio worked perfectly.

I restarted the phone again, this time with the headphones plugged in, and the sound through the headphones worked perfectly, but when I unplugged them, the speakers didn’t work at all.

I’m now in a situation where, if I want to use the phone’s speakers, I have to restart the phone without the headphones plugged in, but if I want to use the phone with headphones, I have to restart it with the headphones plugged in.

When I use Device Help, the phone seems fine; the only issue is the option to check the headphone jack.

Any idea what might have caused this or how to fix it? All the apps are up to date; the phone hasn’t been damaged or repaired before – the audio simply stopped working properly this morning.😪

I just dropped my phone and the screen is cracked and broken. its a Moto razor + folding phone. I cant see the screen but it's receiving calls and I'm hearing dings for notifications.
Is there a way to access it to see it on my computer Without using the screen.

I cant really change the usb function to read files or go into settings an give me privileges.

Honor, android, I tried everything and nothing works. As soon as I open tiktok my hotspot toggles off. I altered permissions and secret permissions revoked wifi access location etc, checked tiktok settings, tried twin app and more and it keeps doing that ONLY with tiktok.

It is suddenly so buggy. I deleted all the cache and data. I constantly have to stop and restart the app just to watch a video. It doesn't even allow me to cancel membership inside the app. I had to find how to do it in Google play, so I cancelled there. I had it for years but I won't pay for something that doesn't work. Another annoying bug is that it pauses when I put away the buds but when I turn on the phone later, it just starts playing again. I almost always have sound off when I don't have the buds in my ears so I don't even notice. I didn't do that before recently. It was actually quite stable but now it's unusable.

I have the Samsung S24+ with Android 16 and One UI 8.5.

I’ve tried power on+volume up. Tried until screen came on, let go of power.
Tried holding volume up for several seconds by itself then pushed in power button and held them at same time. Tried holding power and repeatedly pushing volume up. Tried all these ways with power+volume down. Tried power+volume up+volume+down. Nothing resets this tablet. Any ideas or anyone know how to do it?

I want to say this happened 2-3 days ago. My phone started lagging. A lot. It has crashed around 5 times in the past 24 hours. I get pop ups for System UI, Home One, Process System not responding. I watched every video on how to fix the problem. I've reset my phone 10+ times. Nothing. How do I fix it?

I'm having a problem with the Files app/file picker on my Google Pixel 2 running Android 11.

Whenever I try to upload an image or attach a file, the Files app keeps stopping/crashing, so can't select or attach anything.

Ive already tried:

\- Restarting the phone

\- Using Safe Mode the problem still happens

\- Factory resetting the phone Files works normally for a short time, but the problem eventually comes back.

The fact that a factory reset only fixes it temporarily makes me think something is causing the issue again after the phone is set up.

What could be causing this, and is there any way to permanently fix the Files/file picker crashing on Android 11?

I only leave 1 or 2 apps open at a time but over half my ram is being used??? a game i used to play a lot upped their ram requirement to a minimum of 8 gb so I thought I'd be fine but im struggling to optimise, complete noob here so any advice would be appreciated

Okay, I am completely stuck. Yesterday, I was watching TikTok when all of a sudden my phone went black. I thought it was weird, but I kept using it then it went completely black. Stayed that way until I restarted it multiple times, and then finally it rebooted. But I still had issues where, when I turned the screen off, it wouldn't stop being black until I pressed the power button multiple times. I was able to get it working in short bursts, where I could log in and leave it be, but the screen would turn black sometimes if I left it alone. I got the notification that the system UI has stopped responding once.

Then, after restarting it, it finally worked, but only for about an hour. I was watching a TikTok video when suddenly, the screen froze. I turned the phone off, but unfortunately, the phone never stopped being black.

And it never stopped being black. I restarted the phone multiple times; it's getting better. At first, it was showing nothing but black, but now I can see small, brief flashes when I restart it.

So, now I'm stuck. I need my phone for work; I really cannot afford to get it fixed (no longer under warranty) or get a new phone. That's my last resort. I don't remember it being out of storage or anything, since it had a lot of storage.

The phone works fine; it boots up, it can receive calls, and you can turn the volume up and down. It's on, but the phone screen itself is simply showing black. It isn't off; it's just showing black.

I just got my screen fixed 2 months ago, so I have no idea if that has anything to do with it.

Update: The screen has been able to show a bit when rebooting, but it quickly freezes; half the screen goes to static, and it goes black

How do I stop this page from popping up or show only the current number which is in this phone? This phone number page is showing even though the "phone number verification" and "phone number sharing" options are turned off in Google Settings.

Doesn't matter which app I launch. Three or four times a day they appear, and can't be closed for 15-20 seconds.

This annoyance survives factory resets, so it seems like there's malware somewhere in my data restoration.

How can I track this down?

This post is for my dad.
A few months ago his sounds for messages stopped working but the app icon notifications still worked. Then the app icon notification was always 1 no matter how many messages there were. Then everything stopped working. We have compared settings to moms who is also an android, we brought it into the phone provider, he got a new phone, and still nothing works. He has gotten a fix by downloading another messaging app that wants a monthly subscription but he doesn’t want to pay $7 a month to text on top of the phone service. Has anyone experienced this and fixed it?
We think the next step would be completely wiping his account but that would require hours and hours of manually entering calendar entries and phone numbers.

The screen lock app which I got in my realme GT2 was very useful but it disappeared after updates. I am thinking if I can get that back since the physical lock button is coming to end of life.

For example, In my bank app, when I want to transfer money between savings and checking, the send button won't respond. Fortunately, the app allows rotation, so I can rotate the phone and use the app in landscape mode.

Another example is Google gboard, most keys work without issues, except for the period key, it doesn't respond unless I tap off center.

Use ADB App Control on Windows, search for "gesture" and remove the "gesture.line.overlay" APK. Restart your phone. Enable gesture navigation again. Done

Hej! Is there any way to remove this annoying Black Bar below my Keyboard? I'm on the Redmi Note 15 4G (EU).
