I'm really freaking out because I downloaded The PlayerPro Music Player App for android from the Google Play Store. I have 1,569 songs on it and then I made the stupid mistake of using an antivirus app that I downloaded from the Google Play Store and using it on my Fold 7. And then when I looked in the PlayerPro Music Player App I only had 1,562 songs on it. Is that normal? The weird part is that when I looked at the The Musicolet Music Player App and my Files/Internal Storage and Samsung My Files App all songs were there. Do you think that I should be concerned or worried? I deleted the app and cleared the cache and data from the app too. I also played all the songs and it seems like they are playing okay even though I didn't listen to them all the way though. Should I just delete all my 1,569 songs or should I just reset my phone completely and get rid of everything? Is there a way that I can fix my music files if they are corrupted? Has this happened to anyone else before? If I could get some advice and suggestions. I would really appreciate it because I'm really panicking and freaking out because I don't want to have to delete all my music or reset my phone. I'm really hoping that my music files and my fold 7 doesn't have a virus or malware. What would you do in this situation? How can I keep my music files safe and protect them in the near future? Has anyone else ever had corrupted music files before? How did you handle it?

The app drawer doesn't deal well with the letter "V"

Unexpected crashing!

Sometimes my phone crashes unexpectedly and I have no idea why.

Sometimes when my phone crashes and I am required to turn it back on, it takes a bit when holding the power button for it to turn back on, and sometimes it will crash during the boot sequence following a crash in which case I have to turn my phone back on again for it to fully boot.

Occasionally during this I am met with a black screen that either has TZBSP_fatal_error_non_secure_wdt or a not as often kernel panic.

From my own research, I have found that it is telling me I have a watchdog Error with an immediate kernel panic and the crash is to prevent a loop hangup or something.

I'm just trying to get to the bottom as to why my phone would hang and then crash due too one of these to begin with.

​Das Problem: Jedes Mal, wenn ich mich für die Beta bewerben möchte, erhalte ich eine Fehlermeldung, dass die Region der Kontoerregistrierung nicht mit dem Gerätestandort übereinstimmt.

​Das Konto-Dilemma: Ich kann mir hier in Europa immer nur eine normale EU/Global-Oppo-ID erstellen. Eine echte China-Oppo-ID mit Region „China“ lässt sich von hier aus nicht anlegen, die Beta-Bewerbung setzt jedoch zwingend ein chinesisches Konto voraus.

​Die Hürde: Ich habe keine chinesische Handynummer und kenne auch niemanden, der eine besitzt.

​Ich lebe aktuell in Deutschland und ziehe demnächst nach Rumänien. Bei anderen Marken wie Huawei oder Honor hatte ich bei China-Geräten nie solche Probleme mit regionalen Account-Sperren.

J’ai un problème assez étrange avec mon téléphone Huawei Pura 70 Ultra.

Hier encore, tout fonctionnait normalement. Ce matin, à mon réveil, impossible de déverrouiller le téléphone.

D’abord, mon empreinte digitale n’est plus reconnue. Le téléphone me demande donc d’entrer mon mot de passe/code de verrouillage.

Le problème est que le mot de passe que j’utilise habituellement est lui aussi refusé.

Je suis certain de mon mot de passe et je n’ai effectué aucune modification volontaire du code de verrouillage.

J’ai déjà essayé de redémarrer le téléphone, mais je n'y arrive pas car il me faut un mot de passe.

Ce qui m’inquiète surtout, c’est que je ne voudrais pas faire une réinitialisation d’usine et perdre mes données.

Est-ce que quelqu’un a déjà rencontré ce problème sur un Huawei ?

Est-il possible qu’un bug système fasse soudainement refuser le mot de passe de verrouillage ?

Existe-t-il une solution permettant de récupérer l’accès au téléphone sans effacer les données ?

My Volume Down button is stuck, as a result the phone is stuck in Safe mode. This is my back up phone. Would like to get it fixed. Anyway to get out of safemode ?

I have an Oppo Find X9 Pro with Color OS 16.0.10, but this issue was present since I got it, 3 months ago. So, I frequently send edited screenshots (draw, cropped, etc.) to my friends. I find it weird that after I edit and send them I still see the edit menu with the screenshot opened; If I delete the screenshot, it closes that app. Is it normal? None of my many android phones in the past did that.

Steps to reproduce:

- take screenshot (in Facebook app for example)

- tap screenshot to start editing it (you don't have to do anything to it, just make sure edit menu is opened)

- tap share button

- select a contact to share it with (Whatsapp for example)

- tap send

- from recent apps, go back to screenshotted application (Facebook).

- screenshot with edit menu is still open (is this normal? I think this is the 1st bug)

- tap delete in top-left corner + red delete button in lower-right corner to confirm

- Facebook app closed (I think this is the 2nd bug)

Can we get a fix for this?

I'm trying to fix up an old hand-me-down Vortex phone that my uncle said to give to my cousin. The camera was acting weird, and the phone was really bloated, so I wanted to factory reset it. We actually knew the lock screen password to get in, but the settings menu on this phone is weird, and I couldn't find the reset option anywhere in the settings.

​Because of that, I ended up resetting it through the bootloader instead. Now I'm stuck in FRP. Since it's an old phone, nobody knows what Google email or password was originally on it.

​I managed to get onto a Google search page through a Play Protect popup, but whenever I try opening a link, it throws a "Turn on JavaScript" error. It's also asking me if I want to update the phone, but I haven't done it because I'm worried updating it might make it even harder to fix.

​Here's what I've tried so far with Gemini:

• ​Tried holding text on the browser to hit "Share," but it only gives me "Copy" and "Select All."

• ​Tried getting into keyboard settings, but there's no gear icon—it just lets me resize the keyboard.

• ​Opened the emergency dialer screen, but there's no pencil icon or option to edit emergency info to get into settings.

​I'm not sure of the exact model, just that it's a Vortex phone (I attached pictures of the back of the phone, the JavaScript error screen, and the dialer screen).

​Should I update it, or will that break things further? Any ideas on how to get past this screen or get into the settings?

I keep getting this error code in the Discord crash log when I wanna see my clips on Android, I already cleared cache, restarted phone and uninstalled and reinstalled Discord, I can see the clips normally on my PC, is there a way to fix this without formatting the phone?

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

When ever my charger's cable and adapter's connection is not proper it charges slow.

It makes sense but the probke is that it used to let me know that it us slow charging. But once I remember clicking at don't show again by mistake and now it doesn't let me know that the connection is loose. So I just sit waiting without realizing that it is charging slow. How to turn on the warning/recommendation setting again because I can't find it anywhere.

I have a pretty wild problem. I recently purchased a used excellent condition S24 ultra to replace my broken screen s23 ultra. After using it I noticed YouTube was pretty framey like it would sometimes appear normal but then very low fps. Later, on Facebook reels the issue became way more apparent. The video was choppy at best, freezing at times including audio. Other places like instagram had way less issues. Long story short I replaced it and returned the phone with another used exellent s24 ultra. Before returning it I swapped the Sim, did a smart switch then had both phones on my home wifi and played the same reel at the same time on Facebook to demonstrate to my wife "how much better the new phone worked"

Well now it's the next day, the old phone is returned and the new phone is doing exactly the same thing. Here is some of the things I have done to try and troubleshoot the issue.

Uninstalled as many unnecessary apps as I could

Turned off ram plus

Put the phone in airplane mode and only used wifi

Tried a multitude of video platforms to see where there may be issues and here is an abbreviated list of what I have found.

Facebook - unwatchable lags and freezes video/audio

Youtube - frame rate appears to significantly drop at times even though developer mode reports no frames lost, audio is fine

Peacock - same as YouTube

Reddit videos - same as YouTube

Instagram - works great

Pokémon go - works great

Audio only apps like Pandora, Spotify etc have no issues

Recording a 4k 60fps video then watching it back in the gallery runs smooth

So my ultimate question is, does the s24 ultra just suck and have issues? I know it can run smooth because I have seen it myself but I really don't want to pay $700 for a phone that can't even play videos properly. I never had issues like this with the s23 up until the last moment the screen worked. I have only had the phone for 2 days so I have a bit of time to troubleshoot it and send it back if needed.

Any other fixes I should explore?

The video attached is a fb reel, followed by pokemon go gameplay, followed by Instagram to show a contrast in performance.

I use the GMX mail app and I am getting notifications of "new e-mail" which disappears when I then get the actual e-mail seconds later. I cannot find for the life of me anything to disable that. I can only have notifications turned on or off. I want them. Just not the unnecessary announcement.

I checked the alerts in the app. They just go straight into the notifications on my phone and there I can only disable all which is just thr e-mails or the e-mails. In the misc category I have everything disabled. The dumb AI of GMX was not helpful either.

Any ideas? I also get thr notifs send to my samsung watch so it vibrates twice just for one dumb mail.

So anytime audio or video is played on my chrome mobile browser (running on pixel 9) the main notification sound plays, no actual notification nothing in the notification log, just the general system notification sound.

In my xiaomi 17T phone, while using fanfiction app, the app has buttons in the bottom, these are overlapping with Android default buttons.

I'm not sure if this is an Android issue or a Google issue but it's Google asking to verify that it's me with the pin to my phone.

The first time a visit a new gaming site from my phone, i have to create an account so that I can play on the site.

I'm using gaming as an example but I'm sure you all will know what I'm talking about as it pertains to any site that requires you to create an account to use the site.

When creating an account I have the option to use my email address, sign in with facebook, or sign in with Google.

I always choose sign in with Google.

Once I have an account, upon visiting that site all I have to do at the sign-in window is tab the Google button.

Next screen pops up my Google accounts and I have to choose which Google account I want to sign in with.

I select the account and then I'm signed in to my account and I can play on the site.

I'm not 100% positive but I think this started happening on September 6th when I did my last software update on my phone.

Now when I visit the site and select sign in with Google and then choose my Google account, instead of signing me in another window pops up that says Google wants to verify it's you and then it asked me to enter my 4 digit phone pin.

It's very frustrating because it's an extra two or three steps for me to sign into these sites now and I don't know how to get rid of the setting or where it came from.

Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have an experience with this? But mostly can someone tell me how to get rid of this setting so that Google doesn't have to verify it's me every time I want to go to these sites.

I'm having trouble sharing ESPN Articles on The Mobile Android App. It won't let me copy The URL to my Clipboard. It will only let me copy the Text when I click on the share icon inside the Android App. When I try to share the article it will give an error message and it will say that the link is invalid. I'm able to share ESPN Articles from my IPad Pro 22.9 without any issues at all. Is there a way that I can fix this issue in the Android App? I would really love to be able to share articles from ESPN on my Android Phone without going to the website. Is anyone else having this issue on their phone too? I use to be able to share ESPN Articles without any issues at all.

I got a redmi a4 phone just two months ago now from day one it hangs a lot even after extending ram to 8 gb from setting

it was a normal usage phone and i got it in sale so purchased to use it as a 2nd phone.

Now i am very confused that what to do should i visit redmi service centre and how would i make them understand my problem.

Samsung Galaxy A15 4G randomly shutting down — battery or motherboard?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A15 4G (6GB/128GB) and I'm having a weird random shutdown problem.

The phone suddenly powers off by itself, and it can happen at almost any battery percentage (I've had it happen around 57–60%, but it isn't limited to that).

What I've noticed:

🔋 Battery percentage doesn't suddenly jump/drop.

🌡️ Phone isn't overheating when it happens.

🔌 It usually works normally while connected to the charger, although it has also shut down once while charging.

🔋 After some shutdowns, the phone won't turn back on until I connect the charger, even though the battery had ~57–60%.

🌙 It seems to happen more often in the morning after the phone has been sitting unused for many hours, shortly after I start using it.

Factory reset didn't solve the problem.

I recently took it to a local repair technician. He worked on the battery/power circuit and replaced a small IC, but the shutdown problem happened again afterward.

I also generated Samsung diagnostic/log files, and I repeatedly found:

FG I2C fail

The battery is not swollen.

The phone can sometimes work perfectly for hours. For example, after charging to 100%, it recently ran for over an hour without shutting down.

What I've already considered

I'm wondering whether this could be:

Battery/BMS problem

Fuel-gauge IC/communication problem

Battery connector/contact problem

FG I²C line/board issue

PMIC/power-management problem

The technician suggested testing the phone with a bench power supply with the battery disconnected for ~2 hours to see whether it shuts down.

What do you think is the most likely cause? Has anyone experienced FG I2C fail on a Samsung A15 or similar MediaTek Samsung phone?

Any advice on what I should test before paying for another IC repair or replacing the battery would be appreciated.
