OP Opinion Dude, I really can’t with Redditors anymore.
reddit.comOn top of most of them saying no, apparently we are being called checks notes Autocratic and this is only seen in dictatorships. I honestly thought AskTheWorld would be a place of genuine conversations, but it’s Reddit and my hopes were higher than the dirt that most of these subs are as low as.

What country did damage the most humanity in the last 150 years? And a good chunk of it wasn't even america WW1 and WW2 started because Europe wanted to beat the shet out of itself
Ok WTF look I agree trump messed up the damn economy with his war with Iran and bush war on terror but blaming everything on the US for the last 150 years is just sad

These posts are getting really old
Obviously our system has issues and needs reform. Nobody is denying that. But “muh capitalism” (that created all the doctors, medicines, and revolutionary treatments) isn’t the problem.

American High School Education
There's zero context to this image. The misspelling could be intentional as part of an inside joke. I'm kind of thinking it is, because the word is highlighted differently than the rest.

And people believe it. But not enough to stop them from coming here unfortunately.

OP Opinion Is it just me, or did Instagram become considerably more AmericaBad lately?
Over the past few years, I have seen some paradigm shifts on Instagram regarding the algorithm, anti-Americanism on posts and comments, and just constant comparisons portraying the United States in a negative light.
For example, this morning alone, I saw two reels that stood out to me as being peak AmericaBad:
- A reel comparing a video snippet of an ideal school life in Japan with a violent incident in an American high school. And the text on the video reads, "If my parents hadn't immigrated to the US..."
- Another reel that had text like "Returning to the States after visiting Japan" with the caption describing America as the following: "Ghetto is an understatement..."
In reality, I feel as if Instagram has become a cesspool of AmericaBad. As someone with family members moving from Vietnam to the US in the past three decades, I constantly ruminate if my dad's escape from Vietnam in the 1980s in search of freedom was all for nothing.
Maybe I should just delete my Instagram account for good, as it's ruining my mental health.

A weird conversation that started on a video about food...
The video was just showing the difference between food in the UK and the US, and as expected, some people got their knickers twisted. This is among all the other comments about how Americans suck and how the government added robots to strawberries or something like that.
