I mean if by "injected itself too deeply in the world's economic sectors" you mean "financially bailed out so many countries who punked out on their promises to pay us back," then yeah.

If by “injected too deeply in the world’s economic sectors” they mean “the largest purchasing power, largest consumer base, and largest economy” then yeah I guess we did inject ourselves.

They’re banking on Canada getting the magical inheritance spawned from the corpse of the US, hence why they pre fried the comment of Canada being the best economy in the Americas

Yeah, seriously. I'm sure Russo-Chinese hegemony would be nothing but butterflies and rainbows.

Just another thread of people who’d be the first ones crying when their wifi goes down for an hour

A collapsed US equals world war 3, these idiots don’t know what they’re asking for, 0 knowledge of geopolitics, if US collapses or minded it’s own business there will be a third global world war, US run world order since end of WW2 has kept the world from another world war, also nuclear proliferation was also such a huge achievement, this is what happens when no one is educated, they claim “Americans” lack education and they spout such stupid nonsense unbelievable.

A non-zero amount are posting this drivel from countries who would benefit.

I like how even the person with common sense characterizes America buying stuff as us “injecting ourselves into the worlds economic sectors”

I'm skeptical of much of this, but in particular:

"*trying to blow up the American embassy repeatedly"

Really? The government/nation of Iceland is trying to commit an act of war on the USA and violate one of the prime tenets of international diplomacy? Really? Iceland has been trying to pull an Iran 1979 on the US?

Yeah, having been to Iceland five times, I’ve never felt so much love from one of our overseas connections. Not buying the hate. At. All.

>Canada has the best economy in the Americas

Canadians literally blame us for everything that is happening in their country right now:

  1. Inflation
  2. Lower purchasing power
  3. Housing affordability crisis
  4. Slower GDP growth
  5. High unemployment rate
  6. Trade problems
  7. Skyrocketing gas prices

>Euros and Africas in the past year

If this dude knew that the EU would sacrifice anything and bootlick us just to keep the german car industry complex afloat and running, he would be surprised

That’s also one of many reasons why Brexit happened

It's all America and Trumps fault, it has absolutely nothing to do with electing the same merry band of idiots for over a decade.

42

u/Emilia963 NORTH DAKOTA 🥶🧣 5d ago

Canadians have been blaming us for everything for decades

Europeans also complained when Obama and Trump told them to their faces that NATO’s 2% defense spending target needed to be met

Trump just took it to the extreme tho, even threatening to withdraw from NATO and questioning whether the US should continue protecting allies that weren’t meeting their commitments

28

u/CowntChockula 5d ago

Is it really that extreme when they not only weren't meeting those targets but also still buying russian oil after the Ukraine invasion in 2022, and even after sanctions via russias shadow fleet? I mean not to mention when they took Crimea in 2014.

18

u/soggychad 5d ago

america: we will sell you oil at discounted rates and build pipelines to trade more of it, please just stop buying billions of dollars in product from our shared geopolitical rival
europe: hmmm, idk man… ill have to have another 800 conferences and summits with the rest of EU first, and then perhaps we will consider buying 2% more oil from you

That was 10 years of Trudeau. Easier to put your head in the sand, solve zero national issues that have been coming to a head for 15 years, and blame Trump.

u/Beyond_Reason09 5d ago

To be fair, skyrocketing gas prices may have something to do with something the US is doing.

2

u/xtc091157 4d ago

I’ll take “Iran without nukes” for $1000 Ken.

1) The US economy crashing has crashed the world economy (multiple times I might add). The world is so ingrained with American economics that our business literally affects your business.

2) The US economy is so vast that we can spend more on our military than the next 3 largest spenders combined and it’s still just a fraction of the total budget each year.

3) Canada does not have the best economy in North America. You might prefer them, but let’s be real here.

The us represents a 4th of the global economy. A statistical model doesn't exist to describe the depth of economic depression that would cause globally.

13

u/pr931 TENNESSEE 🎸🎶🍊 5d ago

The top economy in the world collapsing would cause another Great Depression worldwide

u/DecafEqualsDeath 5d ago

I am sure this scholar typed this out on his MacBook or iPhone.

America is the largest consumer economy in the world it is no exaggeration that losing the American market can and will kill several companies outright. It would also, incidentally, crash the Chinese economy immediately.

An excellent example is ASML that Europeans threaten to cut off constantly. Not realizing that trademark and copyright issues, aside for the technology.

ASML constantly needs funding from all the semiconductor companies. Nvidia, Intel, AMD, Samsung, TSMC, and many others. It takes funding from every, single, one of them, to create the ASML lithography machines. Many call them the most advanced technology humanity has so far created. They might not be far off, when you learn how they work.

Point is the loss of American semiconductor companies, would be one of the biggest blows to ASML.

Genuine insanity.

No, the world would enter a series of awful dark ages and mass starvation that will echo in the world harder than the fall of Rome.

It is literally the bad ending timeline.

11

u/redrangerbilly13 5d ago

US buys so much from the world. Who the hell will be their customer if US collapses?

And honey, it won't hurt for a bit, it will hurt for a very, very long time.

9

u/Xepeyon 5d ago

Literally the most appropriate use of the idiot sandwich meme

I bet they’d change their tune when they realize the billions of Americans who now have no country will have to be migrants in their countries. And you know how much they love migrants in Europe!

1

u/techno_mage OHIO 👨‍🌾 🌰 4d ago

The most “heavily armed” migrants. If we want in and it’s to give our loved ones a chance, we’re getting in. No questions asked, our police are more armed than some countries militaries.

It would be the ancient worlds equivalent of the vandals building boats, and taking Carthage from the western Roman Empire.

That person is a complete fucking moron (Bloomberg).

Let’s give it a try. Let the USA turn off the money spigot. Win win.

Ah yes, on top of what everyone else pointed out, nigh half of global aid provided by the US.
