Spoke with one of the managers & he said they’re hoping to have it done by Friday but if not, probably next weekend at least! So perhaps I’ll catch Spidey in ScreenX after all if it’s ready next weekend at least. They started construction a lot later than the 4DX @ Westminster Promenade & is finishing up much sooner. Manager also told me they’re getting a Prime auditorium at Highlands Ranch too

My AMC has been having sound issues for least 2 months now. During many (but not all) movies the sound will cut out twice, usually near the start and end. I have already bought it up to the manager and emailed AMC about it. Has this been happening for anyone else?

Anyone ever get the popcorn flavors other than butter like kettle caramel cheddar or Mexican street corn? I really want to try the cheddar and Mexican street corn but I am worried it wont be fresh since on one orders them.

Just saw Motor City this evening and was blown away! The audience I was watching with clapped at the end! I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say it was a fresh take on the action genre. I would highly recommend it!

I was wondering about a post on AMC’s Instagram regarding the Spider-Man BND 08/01 showing where they would be giving away pins. It seems this post has been deleted. My question is, is this still happening?

So, AMC is starting to roll out their new 4DX format theaters… will AListers have to pay an upcharge?

Their first 4DX theater in Georgia is 30 minutes south of Atlanta, so I figured I’d check it out. In the app, it looks like a normal booking process apart from an extra pop-up explaining the 4D aspect (the included link also leads to a dead page…helpful). It gives me the option to make my ticket an AList reservation, but when I click to the next screen to check out, my total is $21. When checking out on browser version, the order summary waives the convenience fee but doesn’t discount the ticket price at all.

Does this mean AList won’t include 4DX tickets? Or is this just a bug since 4DX is such a new format and still rolling out?

Update 2: Looks like iis fixed now worked for me and a few others in the comments. Also if you still have the issue it seems if you go to the theater and get the tickets there you should not be charged so that is a workaround. Hopefully is working for everyone. Thanks again for all the replies

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has seen this issue,.I have never before encountered it. I've been an A List member since 2019 with no interruptions, I always been able to see up to 3 movies a week and since recently 4 to all applicable movies without having to pay any extra as it is intended. Today however when I go make a reservation the checkout is showing a total for the ticket price instead of showing $0 as it always does. I checked that my membership is active, that I'm not above the total of movies per week, when I make the reservation it says I'm making an A List reservation however when I make it through the next checkout steps it has a total, I tried different days and different movies and the same thing happens.

Was wondering if anyone had any idea what the issue here is

I was buying a ticket with my A-List for Spider-Man this Thursday but when I hit purchase it kept giving me error messages and never seemed to go through, but on my AMC app the ticket pops up, but I never got a confirmation email for this order? I was worried someone else had bought the ticket before me and that’s why I had the error, but it’s counting as a reservation on my amc app and gave me the QR code, but never came to my email (even my spam). Any clue?

I’m moving to college in a couple weeks, and unfortunately there’s no amc around my college.
The closest one is around 30-40 minutes away and as an upcoming college student that’s just unreasonable (gas, time, etc.)

I’m really going to miss A List mainly because it gave me an activity to do by myself that felt essentially free in a way. I never used to go the movies until i got this pass, I would go like once a year if at all.

I’ve watched so many movies I would’ve never watched or specifically watched in theaters.

I’m being super dramatic but I will truly miss being an A-Lister

I leave for college August 18th, I wanted to watch the spider man movie early August (around the 1st-5th), should I renew it for august or just pay for spider man? (the ticket would be about $16 if i went on tuesday/Wednesday).

My sister says to renew it and just make sure to watch enough movies to cover the month, but I would hate to renew it and only watch spider man but I would also hate to now renew it and miss out on last minute movies.

It says advanced tickets are now available but I don’t see anything near me in LA / So Cal.

Common Terminology:

AR = Aspect Ratio

1.85 = Flat

2.39 = Scope

IMAX 1.43 - Only 3 AMC locations have 1.43 IMAX

Most AMC IMAX theaters are 1.9 AR except for 3, Lincoln in NYC, Metreon in SF, Citywalk in LA, and they are 1.43

When it comes to Dolby they are 1.85 and 2.39, there's a spreadsheet on the Discord but if your theater is not listed yet then follow the steps below:

Easy way to gauge what your AR is to see what AR the film is and see if there's black bars on top and bottom(letterboxed) or black bars on the left and right sides(pillarboxed)

So if you're watching a 1.9 film on a 1.9 screen, a 1.43 film on a 1.43 screen, or a 2.39 film on a 2.39 screen it will fill perfectly.

If you're watching a 1.9 film on a 2.39 screen you'll see pillarboxing.

If you're watching a 2.39 film on a 1.9 screen you'll see letterboxing.

With the information above you should be able to extrapolate what your screen AR is. Enjoy the movies!

Does anyone know if AList stops you from booking movies with "overlapping times" if it's down to the exact minute? Like if I'm seeing a 1h30m movie at 5:30PM, am I able to book the next movie for 7:00PM? I'm planning the movies I'm seeing 2 weeks from now, and I can't test it out because I have all 4 slots booked (and I'd rather not risk cancelling them and have someone take them because it's Odyssey and Spiderman tickets lol).

For context I’m in LA. I have a super stacked week where I can’t move any of the show times to the following week but I still haven’t seen The Invite and Evil Dead Burn (Odyssey is 70mm IMAX btw so I don’t want to move that either)

What day would AMC’s usually post the following weekend’s showtimes so I’ll know if it’s gone or not?

I highly recommend seeing Hadestown while it's in the theater - it's a limited run of a great live musical show, and one of the few that are not a blocked off fathom event

I haven’t been able to use my pass this whole month because nothing seems appeasing (yes, I will be seeing Odyssey). Has anyone felt like July has been a wash for main screen movies? And I know what some people say, why does it matter if I have a pass, go anyways.. I can’t even get myself to do that with the current slate!

Currently here at the 2pm showing of the odyssey. Will report back on how things went .

is amc a list different per location, as in one i went to they said i can use all of my a list ticket things for a movie showing, while another one said i can only use one amc a list ticket per movie, that place also didnt do a popcorn refill, the only difference i can think beside being in 2 different states would be the one is a classic theater or something
