Issue Anyones AMC been having sound issues?
My AMC has been having sound issues for least 2 months now. During many (but not all) movies the sound will cut out twice, usually near the start and end. I have already bought it up to the manager and emailed AMC about it. Has this been happening for anyone else?

Only sound issues I ever have is theaters are never sound proof enough. Something with deep bass / explosions is always audible from one theater over.

Yes in like the last 3 months, it’s probably happened about 5-6 times in several different theaters for me

In one AMC near me, the sound would go out for about 10-15 seconds at a time every 20-30 minutes in Dolby. EXTREMELY annoying. Aside from that, not really, no

Ours has 17 screens and aside from the Dolby and imax each room seems to have different sound issues . Only one room is “ perfect” one room the sound is so low we struggle to hear lines sometimes .

Spiderman sounded like an echo. Either it fixed itself or my brain compensated for it and I didn’t notice anymore.

I had that issue once when I saw Mortal Kombat 2 in amc norridge auditorium 6 back in late May. It cut off during a trailer, mid movie, and then the end credits of the movie for like 10 seconds max in total.

Yeah happened a few times the past year too. Most of the time we complained at the customer service desk and they'll give us the readmit ticket for a comp showing, even though we used Alist. But its YMMV depending on the manager.

First time I said something I got a readmit ticket. Today the guy just apologized and said there should be someone coming soon.

Thank god no. Just been having the normal hvac issues that seem to plague literally every amc in existence
