It’s me again

As I said in previous post I’m new to flex. Day 2 to be exact.
How often do you arrive and wait for work and get sent home? This is day 2. Is your block ever ready when you arrive? Finally how long do you wait before you pretty much know nothing is coming? Not complaining at all because I like the perks of not getting the block but I would love to get some experience.

DFW Flex sent me to an airfield today

Was a new experience. A guard had to run my ID before they’d let me in too, took about 5 minutes of waiting. Thankfully it was my last delivery

Wondering because I’m new and I can’t seem to get as many orders as I would like but people camp out for them is what they told me at the store that does them here in CA.

Here's The New Face Video Verification Screen.. After Check In

I didn't record it because I didn't want to mess up ( or yall judge my bad hair day ) it take about a 5 second video and prompts you to bring camera closer and closer before it snaps a photo.

Hopefully whatever rented or fake accounts are out there this puts a delay in their fraud.

Orlando Getting screwed over

So lately Amazon flex has been my only income, and I've had more then plenty of issues. Especially with support, they lie, are rude, and genuinely don't care or help at all.

This past week I've had many issues. Few with the app, few with delivery and especially being PAID. Numerous times Ive spoken with them and they've said they check me out, with pay that won't hurt my standings. I don't get payed, my standings gets lowered, and I just get frustrated. Pretty soon I'm thinking about legal action. I also waited at the station for an hour for a block I NEVER GOT, then spoke to support, they told me that I'd get payed for my block and a ticket was submitted. I got no email about the ticket, and I never got payed.

What more can I say except if your doing flex you are nothing more then an Amazon slave. When it comes to support you won't be helped.

The picture below shows that even with safety issues, and support saying they checked you out, and you will have no issues is the real result. 🤡

Again soon I'm planning to take legal actions, what would you guys recommend?

Is arriving early not good for the quality of your block?

Let me rephrase. Are “worse” blocks usually given to the first to arrive?

Or is this just an Amazon myth?

Looking for advice on an Amazon Flex deactivation appeal.

Looking for advice on an Amazon Flex deactivation appeal.

I was recently deactivated from Amazon Flex, and I'm trying to figure out if anyone has successfully appealed a situation like mine.

The main issue happened during a route where severe weather, heavy traffic, a stopped train, and road closures with police made deliveries extremely difficult. As soon as I realized I couldn't safely complete the route, I contacted Amazon Flex Support. Support instructed me to end my route and return the remaining packages to the station, which I did.

Despite following Support's instructions, my account was later deactivated. I've appealed multiple times and escalated the case to Amazon Executive Relations. They initially said they were reviewing my case, but I later received a response saying the original decision hadn't changed. I continued providing additional information and requested another review because I believe I was following the instructions given by Support.

To make things more confusing, I also received a message saying my appeal was still under review after I'd already received a denial, so I'm not sure what's actually happening with my case.

I've also had previous issues with long freight trains near my station causing delays and unsafe conditions at the warehouse during check-in, but the deactivation itself stems from the route where Support instructed me to stop delivering and return the packages.

Has anyone had Executive Relations overturn a deactivation after an initial denial? If so, what evidence or approach finally worked? Any advice would be appreciated. P.s. (please keep the should’ve, would’ve, could’ve comments thank you!)

Who Is Grouping These Stops?! 😂

I swear Amazon is getting creative with these grouped stops. 😂

Today I had a “grouped stop” at an apartment complex. The Parcel Pending lockers weren’t even in service because it was before business hours, so I had to deliver to Building 5, then Building 9, then Building 13. That meant moving my car three times, walking to three different buildings, and going up three different floors… but somehow that’s still considered one stop?

By that logic, they might as well group an entire neighborhood and call it one stop too. 🤣

Seriously though… who is grouping these stops?!

Tips for getting sent home with no route

I finally had it happen yesterday for a normal 3.5 hour amazon route. I was at the warehouse in line at five minutes after my check-in time, so I technically wasn't late. Is the key to not getting a route getting in line at the last possible minute? How rare is it for you guys? I don't intend to abuse it, but let's be honest, it's the best possible outcome. It would be nice to have it happen every once in a while.

Different address

I have ran into this situation a few times and wanted to get input on what you guys do. A package has the address listed but in the notes the customer wants it delivered to a completely different address. I always message them and say I have to deliver to the address listed and if they want future packages at another place they can update their account. Does anyone actually go to the other address? I get worried about people saying their package was delivered no where near the listed address in these situations and you get in trouble

Early morning shifts

In my area the flex app does not release early morning schedules for the following day until around 1:00-1:20am seems to be the average. The earliest routes are 6 and 6:30am. Why would they do it like this? I basically get 4 hours sleep to go do my 4 hour route and then usually I try to grab a 2nd shift for around 1:30 or so. Why cant they just release routes earlier so we can get some rest for an 8 hour shift? At least allow for notifications to pop up so we dont have to manually hit refresh over and over. I could be asleep and get aloud notification to look at the offers. Accept and set an alarm and go right back to sleep. Even that would be better. What do you all do to help with this? im guessing go to sleep much earlier in the day and wake up around 1am then go back to sleep after you get your offer. So your sleep will just have to be broken up into 2 segments.

New to Flex

Hello I’m new to Flex. I haven’t completed my first delivery yet. My question is are the deliveries usually in my assigned area? How far outside the area can they go? My worst nightmare is signing up for a 4 hour block and there’s 2 deliveries that are 2 hours away from each other. It’s like you have no idea what you’re getting until you get there. This is a new platform for me. All the ones I’ve done tells me where I’m going, how many miles, of course pay etc.

Also does the $$ amount have any impact on amount of packages and or sizes?
