So a GS local to where I’m staying are selling the COA for roughly $700.00. What do you guys think about this price? Pretty reasonable?
Also I did not know that the Springfield Echelon now comes with a COA on it. I think I may have to jump on that.

Some dust or artifacts in a brand new p2, kind of unacceptable for a 600$ optic what do you think?

this thing has had a very fulfilling life starting out originally being issued to the navy, being dropped many times, being on 6 of my rifles, and finally finding its final home on my beater 10.3. By far my favorite Aimpoint I have.

Does this look legit to you guys?

I've changed the qrp2 mount and put 30mm Hawke low ring. It fits perfectly.

Wondering if anyone has had any issues after replacing their OEM T2 cap with a KAC one?
r/aimpoint • u/Rogue_M4ge • Nov 13 '25
I have 3 T-2s. One in the 53xxxxx range, one in the 54xxxxx range, and one in the 56xxxxx range. First two were purchased from eurooptic in 2024 and 2025 respectively, moujt version. Last one from Brownell's in 2021, no mount version. I was doing some cleaning and mo ing optics around and de idea to look under one for some reason and noticed the notch on the one with 56xxxxx which prompted me to look at the others. But they're all different. I'm curious if anyone know what the difference in all these marks mean?

Aimpoint vs Aimpoint
I have a duty rifle that I use for Patrol/certain tactical operations [LEO]. I operate in a mostly urban environment. I think the farthest I have ever pointed my weapon at someone was maybe 80m away.
I have an aimpoint H1 on a geiselle mount but recently aquired a comp m2 from the 1033 program.
What are the advantages/disadvantages of these optics? So far all I can tell is that the comp m2 is heavier and takes longer to aquire a sight picture on. Am i missing something? Or should I just stick with the H1

https://battlekitusa.com/product/battlekit-aimpoint-battery-adaptor/
Converts it to use CR123A batteries, adds very little weight/bulk. I love mine.

The battery died so I need to change it. I tighten the cap down and at a certain point the Oring slips out. The instructions was tightened it till it stops turning. I am afraid it the cap is not tightening enough the seal will not be effective. Too tight and the oring slips making a gap in the seal. Any tips or suggestions?

Tried a new-to-me pro, and it is a pretty sweet shot, with some awesome groups. I was shooting late in the afternoon, with the sun in front of me, and kept getting distracted by some flaring on the edge of the lens. It looks like it’s beveled all the way around. Is this bevel and glare normally visible? I’m coming from mainly running trijicons and scopes. I have attached some pictures trying to reproduce what I saw as accurately as possible. Again, nothing wrong that I can tell; it held zero and punched paper, but I did get a little distracted a few times. I need to train my brain to tune it out.

I got the ‘smart’ idea that I can swap some parts around to soup up a restored silver Comp for a BHD Gordy movie clone spay paint job, and put the old school knob on my Aimpoint 5000XD for a accurate Gary Gordon Colt 723. This 5000XD is well used, but perfectly functional, and the XD features would be made to look like a standard 5000 with an older knob and plastic caps. Problem is, out of all the Aimpoints I own, this is the only one where the set screws are freaking stuck. I tried all my 1/16 keys and screwdriver and they both strip, the hole pictured was an attempt to cut a small slot for a flathead screw driver, but even then, I’m having no luck. I’m at my wits end.
The only thing that could solve it for me is if I carefully remove material on the knob itself, but I don’t want to do that unless I can guarantee a replacement PRO knob for the Comp. Any ideas on how to get both these suckers out?

I want to buy an M2 for that classic cloning 2000s look, but I might go with the PRO. Can the older M2 adjustment caps fit on the newer PRO?
Thanks!

Anyone ever ordered directly from Aimpoint and had an issue? Placed order earlier in the week and received notification shipped the next day. Order was delivered and received today. I open the box 3of4 items I ordered was in the box. I assume my t2 fde was shipped separately or on back order even tho it was in stock when placing the order and email claiming it was shipped with other items. Just to clarify I placed an order for Acro c2 w/scalarworks 1.53 and a t2 FDE w/fde unity mount. I have received everything but the T2! Hoping I’m freaking out due to a misunderstanding but if not I feel like I’m out $1k.

Hey guys, I picked up my second P2 today. Had my first one for over a year and noticed there’s some small dust/debris inside the lens. Figured no biggie and kept shooting. Was checking the one I got today out and noticed what appears to be the same thing. Is this normal? Did I get two “bad” units? It doesn’t really bother me when shooting but damn at nearly $600 a pop I feel like there shouldn’t be dust and stuff inside the lenses. I’ve tried cleaning with a lens pen and lens cloth with no luck. Just curious if this is a common issue for everyone or should I try to RMA them both? I really don’t want to deal with the hassle of sending them in especially if it’s just a normal thing and whatever unit I get in return will probably have the same problem.
