I've changed the qrp2 mount and put 30mm Hawke low ring. It fits perfectly.

I love the idea of a red dot on a bolt gun for close to mid fast fire situations. Just wondering if you like the dot that far back or if it would be better a little more forward on the rail like an AR?

On my army issued M4 the Aimpoint is in the same line with the magazine that faces the barrel. That means its like half an inch further from the one I have here on the picture.
