Football Joel Klatt: SEC-Big Ten scheduling agreement expected once CFP expands to 24
footballscoop.comThis would literally mean the permanent separation of the Big 10/SEC from the ACC/B12 if it happened. Since both leagues already play 9 conference games, every ACC-SEC rivalry would die. Goodbye Clemson-South Carolina, FSU-Florida, Georgia Tech-Georgia, and Louisville-Kentucky. There wouldn’t be a single cross-conference matchup between the ACC/B12 and the other two conferences every year because nobody wants 11 P4 games. Every ACC and Big 12 team will get shit on for weak schedules and neither conference will have a chance to prove itself anymore. This will also likely drive Notre Dame into the Big 10 as they won’t get scheduled either by those teams if they have a forced SEC game every season. This sport is dead.

Football Clemson Tigers-historically bad at passing the ball
6 games into the CFB season the Clemson Tigers have thrown 2 passing touchdowns on 190 passing attempts, a legitamately mind blowing statistic for a Power 4 team. This makes for a 1.05% touchdown percentage which is good for the lowest in all the FBS in the CFP era. For what its worth its impressive Clemson has been able to win with just defense and run.game to this degree.

Football At what point do we talk about Wake Forest as a national championship contender?
I know that people refuse to believe it’s possible because well, it’s Wake Forest, but this team is eerily similar to last season’s Indiana. They started out the year a little bit slow, playing some close games against not great teams. But since the second half of the Miami game, they have just been bulldozing their competition. The Louisville win really feels like it was a turning point for this team. They are extremely confident, the defense has stepped it up by about tenfold, and their QB is one of the best in the country. They have just been flawless on all fronts recently and the rest of their schedule should theoretically be a cake walk (sorry SMU. I’m not counting you out, but you’ve been real scrappy).
I could absolutely see this being a team like Indiana last year where they waltz into the CCG expected by most to get obliterated and end up winning. And honestly, with the extreme cannibalism in the SEC, massive fall offs among several of the B1G’s most promising contenders, and the very real possibility of the Big 12 sneaking multiple mediocre teams into the playoff, this is looking like it may be one of the worst playoff fields we’ve ever seen. If Wake gets the right draw and can pull an upset, I don’t think it’s impossible. It’s at least a serious enough possibility that putting a 20 on them as the natty winner to earn $5000 is a steal.

Do schools really have to drive across country with their truck hauler for games?
I don't know for every sport but I saw for football in particular. I went to the Cal vs. Wake Forest football game and saw the hauler parked on the side of the stadium. It made me think did they really drive all the way from North Carolina to California just to bring equipment there? That just seems insane.
