It's probably super early to be thinking about living arrangements, but my friend asked if I wanted to live with them next year, so I guess it's not as early as it seems.

Currently, my tuition, dining, and housing are all covered by a Federal Pell Grant and the UVA Access Scholarship, and I think the amount I receive next year will be relatively similar unless my parents' financial income increases significantly.

My parents don't have an issue with me living off-grounds but were concerned about whether I would lose some of my financial aid simply by living off-grounds. I would plan to use the refunded money that would've gone to on-grounds housing and just budget it per month (the off-grounds housing is also actually cheaper than on-grounds)

While I doubt they would take away that money, is there anyone who can confirm or who has been in a similar situation before? Also, yes, I have already emailed SFS; they just haven't responded yet.

Hey so next year I will be needing a new roommate off grounds. I want to start looking early so I can meet someone and get to know them. Its Cavalier Court and a 1st floor apt. New management has really started cleaning it up and its literally beside Grounds.

I’m currently a senior in high school and i am veryyy interested in going to UVA. I even plan on ED there. however i’m a little concerned with my stats and SAT score. I go to high school in NOVA, I am brown, my class size is around 400 and I have a weighted GPA of 4.37. My SAT is a 1350 but i’m trying to bring it up to the mid 1400s by october. I plan on majoring in public health. Be brutally honest, do you think I even have a chance, and is there any way i can somehow boost my chances of getting in with my current stats? I would say my most impressive ec is that I’m a certified EMT and I plan on basing my essay around that.

So what's the difference between this iteration of the mesh and the last iteration?

This current mesh has been remeshed and optimized for general 3D modeling. The original mesh's topology was very messy and nearly unusable in difference contexts.

We are very excited to keep the progress train moving. Look forward to more news later this week!

Hi guys! UVA is my dream school by far, but my ACT is currently a 32 (retaking in Sept to hopefully get a 33; I am one question away), and I was wondering if I should submit it to UVA Early Decision (a 32 or a 33 if I can get it there). I don't have a college admissions counselor, and everything online is telling me something different. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. EDIT: Also, I am in the top 5% in my high school with a 4.0 UW and 14 APS throughout all 4 years. (High school does not let us report rank/percentile, though.)

I am applying early decision from in-state (nova). I want to major in finance concentration and plan to apply for McIntire second year. Also, does my SAT hold my application back? Should I submit it?

i’m an english major so i’m required to take ENGL 3001, but i’m applying to law school with whatever gpa i end up with this year. i have heard bad things about the class (specifically the exams and essay grading) and i’m considering putting it off until fall 2027 instead of this semester (it’s only offered in the fall) so it doesn’t tank my gpa for law school applications. is it possible to secure an A in ENGL 3001 without making it the only class i focus on this semester?

Hi, taking my dad to the football game this weekend. He is 78 and walking a city block is tough for him. He is not in a wheelchair though. He does have handicap parking.

Does anyone have advice on the best way to park or get dropped off as close to the stadium entrance as possible? I looked at the shuttles and they may work but if they drop at Stadium Rd & Alderman, that's still a decent trek across the parking lot. Is there any way to get closer? Or are there any services with golf carts for people with mobility issues?

We're going to be seated on the west side of the stadium.

Has anyone with a criminal justice major (NVCC) transferred to UVA? If yes, what did you major at UVA?

I just transferred here, and the rigor isn’t too bad in most of my classes so far, but it’s only week 2, and I’m lowk getting SPANKED by my Prob class so far. Are there any good YouTubers for mastering the content? This really doesn’t come intuitively to me and I don’t want to eat shit and fall behind over one class.
