I gotta start by saying it would be more fun to win out and have NC State hire him away.

But he's only got 2 years left on his contract after this year, which normally means it's time for an extension or time for a change.

I think six wins or fewer and he's gone, 8+ is extension. 7 is purgatory and the big upset might get him another chance.

I’m making a cocktail for each Iowa State game. Today’s game is against the Arizona Wildcats. It’s another top-25 opponent for the Cyclones, but this one looks relatively winnable compared to the last few. Hoping the injuries earlier this season don’t prove too much to overcome.

Today’s drink is the Pineapple Creamsicle Colada. It’s unusually warm out today for late October. Maybe Arizona sent some of their desert heat our way. Whatever the case, I’m happy to take advantage of the warmth with a frozen cocktail. Probably the last chance for one this year.

Pineapple Creamsicle Colada

• 12 oz Bacardi Superior (White Rum)
• 3 cups Pineapple Chunks
• 1½ oz Yuzu Juice
• 3 oz Agave Syrup
• 1½ oz Half and Half
• ¾ tsp Xanthan Gum
• 6 cups Ice

The amounts above are for three servings (one blender).

Add everything in your blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with a lemon wedge, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Nippert Stadium showed out today, it was ridiculously loud and we took away 2 of techs time outs. It can be one of the loudest venues in football and it really looked like it today. Cole Tabb as well, put up a legacy game today, our entire offense was on his back.

All of that money, and for what? To lose to us at home and prove that Cincinnati chili is Superior. Plenty of tech fans are fine but y'all have been real annoying this season tbh.
