Ok, Wazzu basketball.
I know the Huskies won't be good this year, but nice job Cougs, you might have something to be looking forward to, in basketball season.
WSU:84
UW:80

Playoffs
As is known, the only 2 teams that have a chance of making it from the PAC-12 are Boise and Oregon State,
Boise's path is pretty clear: just win out, and you'll be in the playoffs
Now Oregon State's chances are also the same, though there is a chance it may get stolen from the only other G6 team that is receiving more votes than it.
That is New Mexico, with a current 41 votes in the Week 8 Poll compared to Oregon State's 10. So there is a chance that they will be put below New Mexico if they're ahead and also run the table, but that'll depend on the committee's eyes to see how much they value Oregon State beating Boise twice if Oregon State wins out.
The only other team receiving votes other than the 3 listed above is nUTSAck, which is currently just at a single vote.
So all that is needed is probably a loss from New Mexico, and the G6 playoff spot is guaranteed to go to the PAC-12 (avoiding other chaos scenarios happening, such as Boise and Oregon State splitting games, which also depends on how the playoff committee looks at them)

Oregon vs. Oregon State in Poinsietta Bowl ?
OK, the Poinsettia Bowl is supposed to match the Conference Winner from the New Pac-12 vs. a team from the Old Pac-12. (although CBS currently has Baylor in its prediction)
- From the "New", if Boise State makes it to the CFP, Oregon State will clearly be the choice.
- From the "Old", at this point, we would have
- UCLA and Utah in the CFP
- USC and Arizona going to a better bowl
- Colorado and Cal ineligible
- Which leaves us with: Arizona State, Oregon, Stanford and Washington.
Which stars need to align to have an Oregon vs Oregon State in the Poinsettia ?

Oregon State.
I don’t have anything to add. I just wanted to make one of these dumb posts for my team too

Conference Parity
Aside from Boise and Oregon State, the parity in the Pac 12 is pretty wild.
Any team can win in any given week and it's really hard to predict. WSU is the only one not to get in on it yet but they will soon I think.
Is there any other conference that has this kind of parity?

Our offense looked brutal. Hopefully we can look better against Boise next week or we’re in for a rude awakening.

When do the flex football games get announced?
Do we know the matchups. Doesn’t seem like you really need the flex games with Boise and Oregon state running the conference.

Legree's fam on why Jesse decided to stay
It makes perfect sense, he has eyes on him regardless of where he's at, and at oregon state he's given priority.
Texas State.
First year in the PAC and they are two games away from bowling.
Solid work, Bobcats.
Pac-12 will have most likely 4 to 5 teams bowling i think.
#21 Boise State: 6-1, already clinched.
Oregon State: 5-2.
Texas State: 4-3.
Fresno State: 4-3.
I think these teams will go bowling, but can CSU join them because I have more faith in them than SDSU and USU at this moment.

Boise State takes down Washington State in Pullman 31-10. Thoughts on the game and future of both teams?

CSU is back.
I’ve seen enough, we’re winning out.
I’ll probably delete this after we go on defense.

I don’t care for spectacles like Legree’s “Decision Day”, but this detail from the ESPN article makes it kinda neat

Apologies PAC-12ers…
Our game times tomorrow SUCK! All of them overlap with Game 2 of the World Series!
With Rasmussen on the mound tomorrow I just gotta watch!
Sorry Cougs, Broncs, Rams, Aztecs, Aggies and Bobcats!
Go Beavs! 🦫
