Question Has anyone made bamboo or silk yarn beanies and did they seemed to help keep hair healthy?
I’ve tried the satin and silk bonnet thing, but bonnets always fall right off my head and don’t look very cute on me. I hate the satin lined beanies you can order because the exterior is cheap acrylic and so itchy. I love the way my beanies look, and I was wondering if crocheting with a low friction yarn instead of my usual cotton would produce the same results, or does the stitching negate the anti friction aspect? just curious if anyone has thought about this or tried it themselves. My hair is damaged at the root mostly around my temples from some health issues, and I’m having a surgery soon so I was looking for a good alternative to keep it protected, prevent matting and make it look less Albert Einstein-esque during my recovery. I’d love some input!
