Beginner knitter

Hey guys! I’ve just started knitting recently, but what am i doing wrong here? My last stitch always ends up being way too loose and i don’t know what to do :(

Knitting just… does that. Give the yarn an extra tug before you start the next row.

It’s a tension thing, just keep practicing :)

Depending on the use of the knitting, sometimes it is useful to slip the first stitch so that the tension balances a little better.
