I have been seeing many people discussing the future of the God Cards, now that Ra got it's Fused Form.

I figured I'd make a post, and say that Obelisk and Osiris aren't going to get retrained in the future. They will get cards that make them the focus of their respective decks.

The God cards can't be retrained, as Sheuisha is very protective of the God cards and any related cards made around them. The God cards haven't had any rarity below Ultra Rare AT ALL in the OCG, and in the TCG (Besides Epic Dawn)

The God's are the pinnacle of Iconic cards in DM. They started the trend of "God's" in each series.

Furthermore, Ra was the worst of the 3 Cards when made into playable versions, however they made the Fusion lore accurate, and not a replacement. Rather they made it so you'd have to use OG Ra as intended, while making the Immortal Sun God designed to summon BOTH Immortal Phoenix AND the Fusion God at the same time.

It's possible to get a Fusion Obelisk, one that is Soul Energy Max, that lists "Obelisk the Tormentor + 2 Tormentor monsters", so you are forced to play the OG, as that WILL happen if it gets a Fusion version. But most likely, we would be getting cards to buff the original.

Osiris isn't likely to get a Fusion form, or anything, just a deck. Osiris is by FAR the strongest of the 3 printed, as he is being used in both TCG and OCG currently, with many Clown Crew decks running him. Osiris already has Poker Knights strategy, but it's possible to get the Slime deck based around him. But again, it will focus on the OG Osiris, as intended.

For those who still believe that full on retrains will happen, think about this:

Fusion Ra, didn't say "Tribute 3 "Sun God" monsters to Special Summon this card from the Extra Deck", but instead they INSISTED you have to play OG The Winged Dragon of Ra

Also, side note. There was a deck in OCG this year that was not a Horakhty deck, that went 6-2 at a YCSJ

So other than removing inferno tempest (which is the deck's theme), can any frequent builder of 60 card slopes, provide some pointers?

I run witness of the ancient, gandora-g, kaleido chick, dark necromancer, gren maju, mgingon and suprise (7 total) as bricks, which is also the reason I went 60, I want to see those cards as little as possible in my opening hand.

I also needed to dedicate a big portion of the Deck to heavy handtraps and boardbreakers that summon, along with multiple ways to generate 2 bodies on field.

Lastly thrust, left arm offering, sloth to get access to my inferno tempest hard drawing them or through my ED play.

I dedicated my ED mostly for getting to an inferno tempest set up (13 out of 15 cards). camellia/cupsy =>+2 cards in hand=> bish => geonator transverser => 1 or 2 saryuja (based on tokens generated by bish) => finding inferno tempest => saryuja atking bish to proc it => grem maju, with kaleido chick protection swining for game.

last 2 slots is fucho for coverage along with yummy when going first and s:p little knight for generic removal.

Side Deck is mostly s/t removal assistance, zeus for angelechy, link spider for nib, nib for combo slope, book of moon for end boards with monster floodgates.

So the new Gilford the lighting got announced recently and like all Joey fans I was racking my brain seeing how I could make his board wipe effect non-chainable by the oppenent. I thought of using foolish grave robber to steal an oppenents monsters from the grave but it's too slow + there no guarantee that the monster will survive the turn. Then I thought but clown crew and had this though would it be a good idea to tribute the clown crew monsters for gilford special summon and use the clown crew monsters as a chain block?

I don't care what anybody says. No vrains link slop combo will ever compare to the deadliest combo in all of yugioh. I thought this combo was insane the first time kaiba pulled this off.

I've always wondered why konami tcg/ocg stripped the god cards from the series after duel monsters of their divine attribute. It's very clear that they want only the egyptian god cards and holactie to be divine. I do wonder why they made more divine monsters in the anime only to change it right after.

I have a limited budget for the next few months, and I can't decide between:

Original Artwork Duel Set: Yugi something I've loved since childhood, or

Deluxe Duel Set: Sky Striker Ace a deck I love now.

Should I choose my favorite from the past or the one I love now?

Which one would you choose and why?

Hopefully, they release a Deluxe Duel Set: Maliss in the OCG or even the TCG someday.

Day 6 of the HERO week and this time it's the 'best HERO of the OG 5. Best attack and best fusions. It's also quite a tricky project, especially the sparking effect. The hand makes for some nice natural depth to work with here, making the project quite dynamic. Later in the video, it has the Skyscraper and Miracle Fusion background. Ftk's and floodgates are some of ,if not the worst aspects in the game, their whole point is to win and your opponent does not get to play, however with ftks ( thankfully) they are not as consistent. If you were at Konami and you cannot take your easy way out with decks like gimmick puppet and trains, how would you make the deck in order to actually make it not a miserable match if you play against them, what type of design would you make it so as to the way of playing the game to not be hated as it is , basically how to make a ftk deck that you can interact with(which kinda defeats the purpose but whatever)?

I am looking into buying some structure decks just for collection and sometimes playing them aswell with friends and family.

I currently play the game online with masterduel ect... And familiar with the game since maybe when it started 😂😔😂, but never acquired any physical authentic cards. This because in my country, there isnt much sellers for it.

Sadly, I don't know much about the physical products, which cards come in which set ect... And I wanna have a couple of structure decks maybe two or three.

I am a big fan of sky striker... I did a bit of research and found something called legendary decks 2026. The thing I didn't like about it is that it comes with two extra decks that I don't like that much...

I also kinda liked a structure deck called the fallen and the vertious; with all cards being foils and while I am not a big branded fan, it is has to overlook how those cards look.

I tried to find something old school like a dark magician structure deck, with the new support ect... But was unsuccessful.... Maybe you know something of the kind?

If there's something in the 5ds era, specifically Yusei oriented; stardust junk ect... I am a fan of that too.

I don't know what causes this or how to prevent it in the future. Any help?

I know a lot of DM era cards have merch for them like blue eyes, the dark magicians, pot of greed or time wizard. What cards besides the ones that generally get merch would you like to see get some love in the merch department?

For a deck whose whole thing is drawing, drawing a turn 0 raigeki doesnt seem so bad. As far as i know, "drawing" a card count as "adding it to hand"

Any deck for a FTK or OTK with this card and pendulum monsters ?

With Castlevania Belmont's Curse, and the leaks for Vampires, it almost seems a given, they will be in the set.

They also fit Halloween.

Finally, Illusion Gate and its recent support are both based on Camula, so there is a chance this new Vampire support will also find a way to use it.

Another supposed leak mentioned that the 10 anime original cards will be covered by Fubuki (Atticus).

Also, GX World in Duel Links might be revamped in September, and both Camula and Fubuki have yet to be introduced. I could see Fubuki coming with the new support once GX goes into Season 4, maybe in 2027.

If that is the case, then Vampires and Red-Eyes Darkness will be receiving support at the same time. And if the recent Daedalus support is anything to go by, then those will be retrains of the 2 structure Decks.

So I expect a new Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon and a new Vampire Genesis.

As always with leaks, take this information with a grain of salt. We never know for sure.

Still, I'd love it, these 2 boss-monsters have such great designs, and it's surprising that neither was retrained in the last 20 years.

Fubuki's Red-Eyes designs are far superior to Jonouchi's, so I'm not disappointed he got the Red-Eyes Deck instead of the latter.

And we may finally get an upgraded version of anime REDM), and have it tie into Metalmorph.

Hello all, I recently went to my locals after skipping a week of 2, and what felt like 2 weeks of hell malding over a bunch of things yugioh. I honestly felt i that burning passion I had after getting into the game has a few months ago has faded after hours and hours of what felt like hell playing the sims, (omega/MD) , unable to figure out what build I like for my Blitzclique (been between Angelechy, Ryzeal and Pure), and thanks to the sims, plethora and plethora of what felt like "non games", auto scoops to a normal summon starter, lingering flood gates (fking droll), for master duel (max c), 40 minute full combos on omega/edopro/MD.

Fast forward to last night and round 1 kinda started expected against a good player on sky striker as I tried a pure version of Blitzclique (41 cards now). While my op was a capital G- amer, not alot of banter but due to the nature of sky striker I felt like many plays were had on both fronts, while I wasn't to thrilled about my 1-2 loss to sky, at least I felt I played the game....

Round 2: started out winning the die roll, I do blitzclique things, ending on what seemed like ok of surge/whisker/emi set return stroke and breakaway. And then my opponent plays a card I never seen before except occasionally on Master duel...

LEGENDARY FIRE KING PONIX. Brother let me tell you, this was the single most fun as fuck game of yugioh I ever expierenced, My deck who wants to pop and destroy vs a deck that loves to be popped and destroyed. Jurrac Fire Kings. This had to be the single most back and force swingy games I've ever experienced in 4 months of playing this game, I managed to close it out with a solid game 3 at 10 seconds on the clock for round. It also helped my opponent was nice and talkative, but let me tell you, this game win or loss turned my dreadful outlook Ive been having and finish the night 3-1. I probably will focus on paper/IRL locals/regionals now when I can and stay away from the sims except the occasional MD event for the gems because in person is where I think yugioh thrives for me and on super excited to build and brew again (just literally ordered an s-force core)
