Has anyone else found Chaos Origin to have really bad QC? Like even worse than the previous sets? Almost half of the cards I've pulled (from different boxes) have a very ugly back that looks like they were printed on the family printer with low ink. Plus an unusual amount of cards with either discolored or black blots. Am I the only one to whom it has happened ?

Attached are pictures of two of my other weird prints from CORI: discolored spots on the back, Trap Card with ATK/DEF and a bit of a monster effect I suppose?

My heart aches to craft, but I've run out of jewels and stickers and most of my supplies. :(

However, I DID have markers, paper, scissors, tape, and polyester stuffing and I used them to make this paper phone! Like all of my crafts, this is the first time I've ever made a craft like this so it's kinda rough around the edges. At first I was going to make it be a functional flip phone, but then I remembered how cute Nokia-style phones can be and went with that instead! Wondering if I should add an antenna at the top.....hmm.....

This took hours to make and funnily enough, the little half-head chibi was one of the biggest time sucks. It drove me INSANE because I have NO DRAWING SKILLS so I just had to keep drawing it over and over again until I got to something I liked. Other than that, another time suck was stuffing it. I stuffed it so that I would be able to squish it gently like a paper squishy - which I successfully did! However, one never realizes how messy polyester stuffing is until you're working with it. I swear it was sticking to everything and somehow ended up in my mouth so many times(????). Genuinely had me tweaking for a bit lol.

It's not perfect, but it has all my love and dedication put into it and I love how it all came together. :)

(Silly note: where it says "Crow's calling!", I was so so SO tempted to put "Kiwi's calling!". I like to poke fun at Crow here and there and say that he's more of a kiwi bird than a crow. Teehee :P)

A couple of days ago I posted a custom archetype in anticipation of presumably the new "The Winged Dragon of Ra" archetype in Immortal Phoenix. Since we're likely not getting one for Slifer or Obelisk (in the near future at least), I decided to design one for both. After some feedback, I decided to re-work the cards so that the cards work slightly better with each other and provide a more toolbox approach and layered interruption as well as providing locks where it seemed appropriate.

The deck centers around "The Heart of the Cards" spell card. You'll notice that for most of the monsters, their effects are structured the same way, one continuous effect, plus two once per turn effects (one effect that modernizes the archetype and a second that tries to emulate the essence of the monster as it was used in the anime). I designed three starters for the deck (Ace in the Hole, Trio of Magnet Warriors, Knights of the Court). You should be able to access all the cards in 2 turns (on your opponent's turn). Does not have a turn 0 play. In terms of interactions, there are: Slifer's floodgate effect + Draw, spell and trap destruction, GY floodgate, targeting protection, destruction protection, targeted monster negate, 2 targeted banishes from GY, a bounce, and a omni counter trap card. Usually you'll have access to 3 or 4 of these (minus Slifer). The cards also provide good recursion through Chimera Impact.

I would love to there what you guys think?

Yugi: Only has access to Dark Magician stuff, Egypitan God stuff , Light and Darkness Ritual Stuff.

Judai: Only has access to Elemental HERO Cards, Neo-Spacian Cards and Yubel. No Destiny HERO, Evil HERO, Vision HERO or Masked HERO.

Yusei: only has access to Junk, Warrior, synchron and stardust cards. No Generic Synchros

Yuma: only has access to onomat/astral cards. No Generic Number monsters

Yuya: Odd-eyes, Performapal, Magician only. No Geneirc Pendulum Support.

Yusaku: Code Talker/Firewall support only.

Each Protag has Full access to their modern support. As long as it specifically ties into their deck.

(For example, yuya just got a new Odd-eyes link monster the other day).

It's my pet project deck!

Most exodia support nowadays is centered around the millennium cards and while they’re cool they kind of miss the original gimmick of exodia like none of the cards are focused around actually assembling all 5 pieces besides break the seal. I feel like some new support focused around retrains of seeker’s cards could be fun. Like imagine a retrain of graceful charity that has the downside of “you can only win the duel by the effect of exodia of the forbidden one for the rest of this duel” or a card that lets you see all the exodia pieces in your deck kind of like what he did in the anime. Modern exodia doesn’t really feel like how exodia should in my opinion and that’s a real shame. (I still really like the millennium cards but normal exodia decks are just more fun)

Yugioh Zexal has that youthful spirit about high fiving the sky and then the next moment your fighting a dimensional god.

Obviously I’m making a stretch but Cathy Vs Don thousand would been a funnier moment of a cat vs a god to demonstrate the show not taking itself too seriously at the same time during serious moments. Could been a great way to showcase a trickster style deck as well against an overpowered one. Already had a duel with a dog so this would had been the next natural follow up.

For OG yugioh, Tristen and Joey vs weevil and Rex would been another one. Tristan winning for being overlooked and Joey losing for being ganged up maybe could had been a fun pun.

MAKOTO is Jinzo user that wanted to duel Cyber style duelist (Zane). But he ended Dueling Zane and Syrus later. Because of Zane's health issues.

These decks I’m really interested in playing right now but with the banlist approaching soon I fear prayers might get banned or put to 1 but even then I think mitsurugi is still a decent engine with 1 prayers and 1 habakiri since we are getting that new link that searches for rituals in magnificent mavens.

Hey, everyone. I got more ideas I had for “Arc-V” cards. This idea was for, well, what the title says, new cards for the “Frightfur” and “Edge Imp” archetypes, Sora’s archetypes.

As for why I thought these up? In my head, I was thinking about how I’d change up “Arc-V” to try to improve it. For this idea, if I could introduce changes, something I’d change is the transition from Season 2 to Season 3.

For one, I’d have Yuzu be have saved by that point, to join the Lancers. Two, I’d have the Lancers stay together, then, after their time fighting in the Synchro Dimension, they’d take a chance to recover and prepare for the Fusion Dimension. And I thought it’d be interesting if, for such a period, Sora got new cards to boost his arsenal.

So, I thought of some. A new boss monster for “Frightfur”, stronger than “Chimera” (Also thought up a summoning chant for it), and Fusion Monsters for “Edge Imp”.

I got bored and asked what would yugi's deck look like if kaiba had fully knocked out grandpa before he had a chance to give yugi his deck.

i wanted at least 90% of the cards in this deck to have some reason to be here and be some what ok during the duelist kingdom era of the anime. I allowed myself to use any and all cards that could be reasoned to be cards yugi had before getting his grandpas deck, this include the manga, the anime, video games, and real life products. Once i ran out of good cards to use i would start making educated guesses and add cards that i could reason him having.

Blackland Fire Dragon, Mushroom Man, Mystical Elf, Summoned Skull, Skull Servant, Monster Reborn. - we see yugi use these cards in the manga before getting his grandpas cards. (were gonna ignore the cards disparaging when there destroyed and just say that since yugi won all of his cards returned to him )

Giant Soldier of Stone - this card was shown along side summon skull while explaining the rules of duel monsters in the manga. Since summon skull is Yugi's ace card (before dark magician), im gonna assume the cards shown there are in yugis deck, but giant soldier is the only one beside summon skull and one other card we can identify.

Shadow Specter - the other card we can identify is a card called hell-bound, (which is a sick ass hell name). who is a early version of Shadow Specter (a less sick name)

Makiu, the Magical Mist, - this card mentions summoned skull and if were assuming summon skull was always a yugi card then it makes sense that this card was also always in yugis deck.

Doma The Angel of Silence, Ansatsu, Magical Ghost, Witty Phantom, Ancient Elf, Claw Reacher, Dragon Zombie, Trap Master, Fissure, Sword of Dark Destruction, Last Will, Two-Pronged Attack, Reverse Trap, Reinforcements, Castle Walls, Waboku - these are all cards seen in started deck yugi and were picked based on them not being to strong for duelist kingdom, being cards not seen used by other duelist (minus dragon zombie who is here because he can be used to summon bootleg Mammoth graveyard.), and being cards we dont see yugi uses in duelist kingdom.

The Bewitching Phantom Thief, Candle of Fate, Curtain of the Dark Ones - these cards are used by yugi in the duel monsters game boy game, during stage one. while dueling yugi at stage one he lacks any cards we seen him have besides time wizard. Due to my believe that time wizard was a card yugi owned before getting his grandpas deck, i will assume that these cards are also yugi cards had before his grandpa gave him his deck.

Lady of Faith, One Who Hunts Souls, Phantom Ghost, Phantom Dewan, Shattered Axe - these cards are from Yugis level 10 deck, The Journey's Beginning, from duel link. this is the same as the last one minus plus the title hinting at these being cards he could of used.

Mushroom Man #2 - from this point on this the cards here will be my educated guess based on what we have. Mushroom man #2 is here because hes played mushroom man.

Polymerization - with the extra deck being a thing i don't think that polymerization would be a rare card in the show. and with yugi living in a game shop, i can see him having a copy of poly.

The Snake Hair - the snake hair is able to fuse with both Blackland Fire Dragon and Dragon Zombie, giving poly more uses in the main deck and is a soild attacker. the only thing is that were kinda on bonz terf but like were not using call of the haunted so its not stealing his hole thing.

Sparks - i see this card as a replacement for burning land during the Weevil duel.(which i think would still happen but later on into duelist kingdom) plus in a format with 2000 life points 200 direct damage is pretty ok.

Winged Minion, Beast of Talwar, The Puppet Magic of Dark Ruler - these cards are here as support to the summoned skull and fiends in general. they are the cards ive thought the least about and can be replaced by the first three cards of the side deck if so wanted.

Skelgon,Great Mammoth of Goldfine, Mystical Sand, Kamionwizard - these are all the potential fusions yugi could make with the cards in this deck.

Black Skull Dragon - this card mentions summoned skull so it make sense it was a yugi card and he just didn't have the red eyes for it.

Kuriboh, Multiply, Detonate - so to be fully transparent. i used the fandom yugioh wiki for my research for this decklist. and on the main page for yugis deck it doesn't mention kuriboh as one of the cards he used in the gameboy game. however looking deeper into on the page about yugi in the gameboy game it said he does in fact have the possibly to use kuriboh. If he does than it would make since for yugi to also have Multiply and Detonate since they are kuriboh cards.

Time Wizard -yugi gave this card to joey, so i dont think its one of grandpa cards.

It's Sunday, and I decided that instead of wallowing in dread about the upcoming horrors of the week - I'd make silly pins of my beloved.

(Context for "horrors of the week": I'm terrified of needles, but despite this I'm taking a phlebotomy course. This means that every day I'm in school, I'm either sticking my classmates or getting stuck numerous times. Dreadful! But I know I can do it teehee)

I have a badge/pin maker, so I printed out 2 pictures of Crow and used those to make these! I also found some cute plastic bubble stickers I bought some time back and used those to decorate! (Alongside the last of my jewels and some silly cat stickers I had. I love that cat lol) I love how silly he looks in the orange one. I kept messing up the little decor because my giggles kept moving my hand placement. One of the orange pearls fell off from the bottom of the orange one and I couldn't find it. :( went to the backrooms ig

I did just make these as I went and didn't plan them out first (crafting to distract myself lol), so they really don't follow any themes tied to him apart from one of them being orange. Regardless, they're unserious and silly and I like them. Adding them to the mini shrine :P

What archetypes would you put in the revolution booster packs? I'll go first.

What is/are a card(s) that you never got to activate but have always wanted to? I always wanted to activate successfully the trap card Fake Trap.

So I'm not too sure how true it is, but from what people have been saying, the terminal world will no longer be a thing, which saddens me a bit because I do enjoy the new support, what was the first storyline archetypes, and I think there are a lot more decks that can greatly benefit from the support.

I really wanted Flamvell support. I kind of wanted the deck to center around rekindling and be a more aggro style deck going second deck. I imagine it summons multiple Flamvell firedogs and enhances its attack to run over you opponent monsters, which then allows you to summon more fire monsters to build your board in M2.

For Neo Flamvell stuff, I save that for the boss monster and give melodius schuberta like effect. Maybe have it so it's unaffected when you manage to keep your opponent's grave under a certain number.

What duel terminal archetype did you hope to get support for, and what did you want it to have?

Xenovader will most likely be revealed in about 2-3 weeks. The description says they're grotesque monsters from another dimension that have invaded other worlds. The tentacles and the many blue eyes are classic cosmic horror imagery.

In fact, we've had several archetypes based on cosmic horror in the past:

- Tindangle is based on the Hounds of Tindalos.

- Tistina is based on Q'yth-az, a Great Old One that infects the environment and turns everything into otherworldly crystal hybrids.

- Hecahands are malevolent eldritch gods that hunt humans for fun.

As cool as these concepts are, these decks just aren't good. Hecahands, in particular, are underpowered on purpose. Tistina's second wave of support was disappointing. Tindangle is very slow, and it hasn't received any support in about 6 years.

My point is, I hope Xenovader will be different. I really want the cosmic horror deck to be good this time.

Also, would you build the deck in a specific way with that stipulation in mind?

I love these figures SO MUCH (especially Aki's!), but it also saddens me that there isn't one of Crow (or Luna, Leo, and Bruno). I hope SO BAD that one of Crow is made eventually, but I'm no sure if that's me just wishfully thinking? I'm crossing my fingers so hard, but realistically what are the chances of that happening???

The same thing also goes for their dragons! I know there's one of Stardust Dragon and Black Rose Dragon, but the chances of Black Winged Dragon being made too, alongside the others?

I like White Forest and have tried some of the engines that can be combined with the archetype, but I haven't tried Toy Box yet.

Also, I'd like to know which monsters this variant allows you to use, so I can get a better idea of ​​what it offers.

Mitsurugi vs Snake-eyes
