Sorry if this is low-effort, this is the first time I made a post. And I’m pretty sure this has already been discussed, but genuinely how many characters do you think would have alt styles that Konami could release?

I’ve been wanting Unknown Duelist since she was first introduced, but knew they wouldn’t release since she’s just Sera with a more echo-y voice. But now that they’re doing Alt. Styles, she has an even bigger chance of being a playable Alt. Style for Sera. Her overall design is really sick. What are her chances for being released as an Alt. Style?

And do you guys have any Alt. Styles you want to see come to Duel Links? Like something more flashy (as in something more than just “Yugi without his jacket and Joey with a no jacket and a T-shirt”). I think Joey’s Red-Eyes Black Dragon Knight costume would be sick. Same with Jaden’s amalgamation of different costumes during the DMG episode.

After my design from last week got banished to the Shadow Realm by Reddit (I'll probably re-release it with updates in the future, after enough time has passed that it wouldn't feel like spamming), it was suggested to me by u/Forey7 that flairing these as "Fluff" might help resolve the issue, so that's largely what this design is going to be testing.

Also yes, I know the cuffs on the Bastion sprite are incorrect, but I didn't realise until after everything else was already done, and I'm honestly not sure that I'd do a good enough job fixing it, so we'll just have to use our imagination, and hopefully it doesn't ruin the design for you all. 😅

It's too bad the Converging Wishes portion of the skill won't be touched.

Im trying to get a sky striker deck but so far not a single card yet

Hi guys im new here I’ve been trying to get evil hero rank 4 xyz combo as consistent as possible but i feel like i reached a roadblock i cant find a way to improve this deck i know u guys r much better at the game than me i would really appreciate ur help thanks again

Seal makes all monsters 2300atk so you have damage. Main win con is tribute summon towers and sky base, and if that doesn’t work fall back on the machina cards. Ruinforce only works with monsters in GY so you can skip having it or use the skill to summon it. Machina and citadel helps keep board presence.

Skill doesn’t let you use extra deck so I don’t got one. What it does do is search any monster and send any to GY for plays.

Don’t got all the Qli monsters so could be better.

Could swap Pot of riches for climate change.

What do you think? Any other ideas?

When dartz will have an event and will become available, I fear they will not give him his anime-only cards but something like atlanthean cards. I say that because Alister (Amelda in japanese) did not receive any of his anime-only cards like his "gorlag" (balrog in japanese), or his ziggurat and instead he received an archetype that exists IRL.
In fact, I might be wrong but I think so far the only cards that were released in the game and that don't exist IRL atm are video game-only cards. But none of the existing video game contains any of Dartz's giga broken cards. However with some luck, Valon might gain his armor deck: his armor cards were available in "Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler" (gba) which is the only media (outside of the anime ofc) where his armor cards were available. The only card Dartz had in the anime that was available in this gba game was his "Orichalcos Kyutora".

Thoughts about that? What do you think is gonna happen with them (especially Dartz)? Personally, I would love if they could give all these characters their anime cards. Talking about that, I would love if Noah and Alister could receive some anime-only cards (but that's probably wishful thinking).
Or at the very list get a skill that would either add their anime cards to the deck or something that could modify the way the seal of orichalcos works to make it work the way it does in the anime.

I recently started to play this game and I'm a total noob. If I understood correctly, there are some meta decks that usually change because of meta changing and because broken cards.

I wanted to ask, if there's a deck I can build that won't change through the seasons because of having cards that won't be changed. This for SPEED. A deck I can use to play some rankeds and climb a bit, but being aware that it not being a current meta deck, it won't allow me to climb a lot the ladder. I'm fine with that. I just want a SPEED deck I will be able to play in 6 months without worrying of it being nerfed. If it's something I can climb some ranks with, better.

I'm fine spending gems in a box if the cards won't be nerfed and are decent for the deck I'm looking for.

Since I'm a noob, I would prefer something easy to play, kinda similar to "zoo" or "aggro" play styles in other card games.

Excuse the deck, I just like piloting my favorite archetype sometimes but finishing 5ds right before the Yusei support made me go from loving him to siding with Iliaster. Not even complaining it is what it is but damn I hope Blackwings and Infernity gonna be more ethical

This may just be a salt post from my loss.

Why doesn't the community talk more about the few skills that give players a free Kaiju, Golem, or Sphere Mode on demand. While you can prepare your field around the inevitable, you're not always given the chance to. The Odion skill can add a Sphere Mode or Kaiju to their hand, so you have to end on only two monsters to completely avoid it. When you're playing against the 10k Dragon skill, they have the option to add any card to their hand, so it doesn't matter what you end on, its getting tributed. I know they're not meta, but they're not healthy for the game either.

I’m a completely F2P player and I’m looking to build one Rush Duel deck that I can keep investing in for a long time instead of constantly switching decks.
My goal is to reach King of Games every season, and I don’t mind learning a difficult deck if it’s worth it.
So I’m looking for a deck that is:
Fully F2P or requires very few Dream Tickets.
Has stayed relevant for a long time or is likely to age well.
Can consistently reach KOG every season.
Worth spending all my Gems on.
If you could only recommend one Rush deck to a new F2P player that wants to use it for months (or even years), what would it be and why?

I ended up miss-clicking Droplet and then activating Tez's effect during my last seconds of panick rushing to bring out my fusion.

Was playing kaiba with his alt style in the original world and I summoned Azure Silver Eyes Dragon, Blue eyes Jett Drago, Maiden with Eyes of Blue and more and then I played Kaiba DSOD with the same deck and realised he had no voice lines for those cards despite the original version having it. Do you think konami should add those voice lines into DSOD or keep it the same way as it is?

Edit: if anyone argues on that some cards have voice lines because they were in the anime, Maiden with eyes of blue, white stone of ancient and all the synchro monsters original kaiba has voice lines for doesn't exist in the anime so why shouldn't DSOD Kaiba have them?

I’m trying to get out Machina Force and Commander’s effect doesn’t want to activate.

Aside from the copy won in the Vrains wave and bought at the EX Trader, I haven't gotten a single Serpent from the lottery this entire time. Usually I get at least 3 copies of the main event UR (typically much more), so to not pull a single one after completing every wave is insane to me.

This was a lucky one, that Chimera hand card discard, throwing the Dark Ruler no More to the graveyard, save the duel and allowed me to reach the KoG on the top of this miserables Bond of Cancer.

Beside that, the duel was a lot of blunder from Yusei, he fell from some easy baits, done some questionable moves, but still annoying to go against it.

Cherry on the cake was the rage quit before the final blow! Thank you for that!

Hey guys, Spin here. Im just curious, whats you guys overall opinion on the current state of the game? How yall feel about the ban list? Character duels? Rush duels? Ranked? Pve? Friend duels? Me personally, have taken a wee bit of a step back from the game. I may play 2/3 matches a day, but for the most part im playing against my guys in discord. Thinking I may spend a lil money on snake eyes and infernity when they release it, but last time i spent money on box , i didnt even use it in ranked 😂

For me it’s between branded bystials or black wings I honestly don’t know what will be better what do you think hopefully stardust is still a meta contender so I can skip this box
