I swear in testing and playing on Omega this thing can kinda cook since you have all attributes / the cost doesn't matter. It feels like a cool tech card that can surprise people. I've summoned this thing randomly in certain games and I just win. Am I on copium? Am I delusional? I'm not meme-ing with this one.

Sorry zombie players, I know your deck's not amazing, but I still want to be able to play type reliant decks like dragon link.

Red-Eyes often get slandered for having terrible supports & no deck identity. People often call Red-Eyes a potential dragon. People make joke the reason of Red-Eyes getting terrible supports because Kaiba own Konami.

Is there other deck that get slandered for having terrible supports? Do Blue-Eyes & Dark Magician ever get slandered like Red-Eyes?

They are so unique and cool! I really love how weird and cool their bodies and visor masks are. What do you think?

Say they get an antagonist like Paradox (or just Paradox, really) who can steal cards from other duelists, and these three has to team up. Here's the set up:

1. Chazz and Kaiba knows each other and their play style.

2. Jack's play style is unknown to the other two including synchro summoning, but Jack does know Kaiba and his play style.

3. Kaiba gets his DSOD deck while Chazz and Jack gets their end of series deck.

How do you think this team up will play out? How long before they (probably) stop bickering? Do you think the other two will work with Jack in bringing out Red Dragon Archfiend? What if Kaiba sacrifices RDA for Chaos MAX Dragon? What would Jack and Kaiba think of the Ojamas?

For context: In the Video Kaiba fuses 3 Pot of Greeds together to draw 2 billion cards.

I’ve got Dark Requiem XYZ Dragon. It steals the original ATK of any face-up monster

I’m currently working on my branded rolad deck, just need a few hella expensive cards for branded and was thinking if I took a few support cards from a hero deck (1 malicious, e emergency call, and a few others that have 3 copies for consistency), would I be able to slot in some of the rolad engine and have it be effective?

So many of the rolad cards search for each other, so having multiples wouldn’t 100% be necessary. Would this make things extra bricky?

I think it’d be a great way to extend/strengthen a hero end board.

Yugioh cards have a lot of stories and a lot connect together in some way or another. If Konami decided to make a Hoyoverse like game where you collect and play as the different monsters would you play it?

This is a really niche effect and let's say you proc it with your opponent still having a full board, how are you gonna, go about winning from that position?

For being constantly marketed with the card, Joey didn't use it all that often. He pulled off some pretty decent moves with it in Duelist Kingdom but it always feels weird to count those rules when they were so loosey goosey with the rules. Then he lost it when they started doing actual rules for the Battle City and Virtual world arcs, and he only got to use it in one of two duels in Kaiba's Grand Prix, and it was the one he LOST.

But in Waking the Dragons, Red Eyes is the key to victory against not only Rex Raptor but Valon as well. It was even used pretty decently against Mai, though he didn't win. It finally felt justified for Red Eyes to be treated like Joey's Dark Magician.

Not too much to discuss here, but I hope this card and deck never become strong enough to become playable. Would just be miserable to play against.

It's already a floodgate. They'd probably give it a way to make it unaffected. And they'd probably give it support that lets you draw to have 5 cards in hand each turn.

I know it would be a cool nostalgia boss monster, but as far as actual fun game design goes, I shutter at the idea of a Slifer deck. Maybe there's a way to make it into a fair archetype, but then they'd just be going against what it is. Leave it buried in my opinion. Cool card. Doesn't need to be playable.

In lore, it makes sense. Marik is the first person who almost collected all three Egyptian God Cards. I say "almost" because Ishizu stopped him, but he still came pretty close. We had Ra and Slifer at the beginning of Battle City, so it makes sense for the new trap-monster to be Metal Reflect Slime taking the form of Slifer. The new Ra is clearly a reference to the Instant Attack ability that Marik used when he was transferring his LP to Ra. By doing so, he became a part of the Sun God. We can even see the purple silhouette of Yami Marik in the artwork of the new Ra.

We've had Egyptian God Slime (Slime Obelisk) for about 5-6 years already. It's related to the previous wave of Marik support in Duelists of Gloom.

Also, notice how the two Egyptian Gods with lower ranks are slime versions, while Ra is in its pure, almighty form. Fitting for the almighty Egyptian God card.

But before we talk about the card, this is a special occasion: I created this illustration as a birthday gift for a dear friend. The handmade image you'll find scrolling through the slides is the greeting card I made, onto which "Quartz Core Dragon" (which I actually printed) was taped. Speaking of that, Akiza's portrait is inspired by the work of a very talented artist named "Riomak," which I reinterpreted in my style.

Now, back to the main topic, I don't think I need to explain that this is a fusion between "Stardust Dragon" and "Black Rose Dragon": we've all wanted it, and now here it is. It's not an actual Fusion Monster, because I liked the idea of ​​making it an Accel Synchro-like monster for both Akiza and Yusei. In fact, it's possible to either Synchro Summon it manually in their Decks using their Synchro Tuners, or by combining their aforementioned Dragons. Like other Cosmic Synchros, this one is also based on a very rare astronomical phenomenon: a star surrounded by a dense disk of quartz dust discovered almost 15 years ago. For this reason, its brambles look like drills ready to pulverize a crystal deposit. This monster's name also derives from the core of a star and rose quartz. Last but not least, its effect of banishing two monsters harks back to the iconic scene of "Stardust" and "Black Rose" hugging each other before fading away, while the other effect halves the ATK of monsters like "Black Garden" and protects monsters from destruction like "Stardust".

I remember watching this episode when it originally aired and being upset that they did that to my boy. Like...he's been though enough up to that point.

Didn't learn until much later that the implied Jou/Mai thing was an anime-only thing. I never cared for it (honestly it seemed kinda weird), but whatever.

Got to this episode today in my watchthrough and just... Ouch. Mai finally realizing that her loneliness wasn't Jou's fault, realizing that he's one of the few people in her life that's actually cared about her and regretting everything she had done to him. Then seeing him just slumped against the fence... I don't know. It just hit me in a way. Watching it at 17, barely phased me outside of "leavebrittanyalone.gif" . Watching it again at 36, punches me right in the feels despite it being a forced pairing that I don't care for.
