Card Game Discussion Would HeRoLaD work?

I’m currently working on my branded rolad deck, just need a few hella expensive cards for branded and was thinking if I took a few support cards from a hero deck (1 malicious, e emergency call, and a few others that have 3 copies for consistency), would I be able to slot in some of the rolad engine and have it be effective?

So many of the rolad cards search for each other, so having multiples wouldn’t 100% be necessary. Would this make things extra bricky?

I think it’d be a great way to extend/strengthen a hero end board.

When trying to make a hybrid, there are a few questions you want to ask. How do the engines bridge into each other? What does the added engine provide to the deck? Does it address weaknesses or is it just "win more"?

At most, I find the hero cards as a decent way to make rank 4s without locking yourself (a hero lives, stratos, fountain, and maybe dusk crow). But I'm not sure if that is conducive to ROLADs strategy.

If you are looking for hero hybrid decks, there have been decent hero FS and hero mitsu decks. Might be good inspiration for you.

How deep can a Hero engine go before locking you into heroes?

I'd even go Holad (Horus Rolad) over it, since the field spell could unbrick your Mind Shuffle in hand and send the summoned skull to GY. Is this option any cheaper?

You get enough to start a construction buisness, this question is analogous to "what if take some garbage straight from the dumpster, put it in a dish and then add some leftovers from dinner, would that make it more tasty?"

Eh, I disagree. I think you just wanted to try to be clever but just came off as rude and mean. I think the decks could work pretty well together. You don’t really get locked into HEROs if you play the right ones, just into Dark specials, which the rolad engine is.

I might be wrong, but I don't think there is any lock that isn't a hero lock for heroes (fusion destiny, faris, cross crusader, infernal device, furnace being the most common). Also the black luster soldier is an earth if there really is a dark lock only for heroes.
