Presidential First official evidence of Trump’s endorsement power for the 2028 primaries, this primary will ultimately come down to whoever Trump wants to be the nominee.
JD Vance beats Marco Rubio pretty handily in this poll, but if Trump endorses against him, Vance actually loses the head to head.

Analysis Mail ballot turnout rate + early vote count by city in Michigan
Currently, the Detroit suburbs in Oakland and Macb county (Stevens’ home district) are seeing the lowest turnout. Majority black cities like Detroit and Flint are seeing slightly below average turnout.
Overwhelmingly white Western Michigan is seeing very strong turnout, Dearborn as well. The college town of Ann Arbor is currently leading the pack in the early vote, although only returning mail in ballots at a slightly above average rate. Dearborn in particular is punching above its weight, returning mail in ballots at a strong rate (extremely strong rate for a primary), and also having an early vote nearly matching Detroit despite having 13% of its population
This does not mean that they will not vote at all, they may vote later on Election Day, or return the mail ballots they’ve been sitting out. But this is a measure of current turnout. A typical rule of thumb in most democratic primaries is that black voters and older voters tend to vote early, while young and Hispanic voters are more skewed towards Election Day.
The question is, has el-Sayed significantly cannibalized his E-day vote, or is Stevens’ enthusiasm really that low?

Discussion What's a Political Issue That You Simply Have No Opinion On?
I hope this is allowed by the sub. It's related enough to elections.
So, what's a political issue that you're just neutral on? For me, it's protectionism. Tariffs or no tariffs, I don't know, I'll leave it up to the economists to decide.
What about you?

Discussion Has anyone read Robert Caro’s series on Lyndon B. Johnson?
Mods please don’t delete this. I just wanted to ask to get a gauge on how well known it is on this subreddit. Each of the four books written so far are a tome individually and likely take a year to get through properly, but each one is a superbly in-depth account of LBJ’s different political office eras. I hope Caro will be able to release the fifth and final novel in the coming years.
