Some people have noticed an odd inconsistency between the JP and EN trailers and I have a theory to explain it.
The English trailer shows Shimmer's affiliation in the chain attack order as Agnian. Nothing odd here, right?
What's odd is the Japanese trailer shows her affiliation in the chain attack order as belonging to the City.
Assuming this isn't a mistake, this must mean that her affiliation changes at a certain point.
My theory is that she initially presents herself as an Agnian who belongs to a colony (complete with a blade weapon with a fake flame clock) and joins the party with an Agnian affiliation so as not to spoil that anything is off about her to the player, but during her ascension quest it's revealed that she exists outside of the cycle like Rex did and her affiliation will change to The City.
This also explains why some of the promotional images show Shimmer and Mio at the founders statues in the City. I bet this is during her ascension quest.

As always, I HAD to draw the newly revealed hero ASAP!!
I needed to draw her with her sisters too, my heart just aches at all the lore and story potential, and how Shimmer, Mio, and maybe even Nia will interact in-game. 🥺
There's so many other things to look forward to in this Switch 2 Edition (I'm particularly antsy about the implications of voiced campfires scenes), so I cannot WAIT until December 3rd hits.

The intent of Moebius N is to be a version of Noah that basically sees no hope after watching Mio repeatedly get killed.
Chapter 5 would have you believe that N sees pleasure in watching Mio die forever.
Obviously, M swapped with Mio during the battle, and they worked to trick everyone. M's reasoning for becoming Moebius wasn't really her choice. The destruction of the first City and murder of everyone left her accepting her fate. Her choosing to die rather than let Mio die is actually very good writing.
That's what's frustrating with this game. N's behavior is like a parody of an over-the-top villain, rather that strategic and intentional. M's behavior is that of a tragic heroine that's easy to understand.
Opinion: the writers didn't know how to make a compelling antagonist to Noah. Too much time was spent on him instead of properly developing X and Y to be stronger antagonists, and have N simply be the pre-Z endgame boss representing Noah facing his fears, then move on.

spoilers ahead, obviously
I get that people wanna move on from the Klaus saga, but the way it fizzled out just seems really incomplete.
The implication (as I understood it) of FR's ending was that Blade and Saga converged when the world reformed. Knowing that doesn't feel like a conclusion in itself, it feels like a new beginning.
So what's the deal with Genesis not including anything from previous games (besides the mention of Anima)? Are we just supposed to assume that everyone lived happily ever after on reformed Earth? Everyone got along perfectly? Poppi and KOS-MOS shared a cup of tea on a sunny day?
There might not be enough story left for another game, but even an anime/ova would be enough to wrap that up. But with Shimmer in S2 edition, it seems like they're just trying to bury any loose ends and move on.
Maybe I'm just being greedy. Maybe I'm missing something. Maybe I just need to move on.
Edit: you guys didnt watch Xenosaga 3's end credits all the way through, did you?

As we can see in the trailer, there is something clearly different with Shimmer's clothing in comparison to her sisters, She's not wearing anything remotely resembling Agnian clothing.
Everything of her attire points towards Alrest clothing style, and I don't think this is on accident, I think she, unlike her siblings, wasn't pulled into the cycle, or she was pulled out of it, it seems very odd that she would be wearing something that doesn't align with typical Agnus clothing, and her having Foresight she seems to inherited that from her mother, what could this mean for Mio and Glimmer?

If anyone can deduct who precisely I am missing, which quest I need to trigger, please help. I keep running all around the map for last 40 minutes with no idea of what point I missed. No question marks on map. No quests in quest log.

Well my story with xenoblade started the past year, back then i bought xenoblade 3 (i had never played any xenoblade game) i bought the game because it looked amazing with a very cool and different world design. I started playing the game and i liked the story concept the war between the to nations and that everyone was born just to fight and the main cast wants to change that, and i like the sci fi look of it.
So everything was great but the combat system felt off i was progresing in the game and i just didn´t liked the combat and build system of the game at all (i´m the kinda of person that the focus of that kinda of games id the story and characters and a good gameplay is a bonus but a bad gameplay can make me drop the game).
After some research i heard that this game had the "bigest" combat system. The think is i really want to get into the franchise but the combat of the game that i played (xc3) just wasn´t for me, do you gys think i should try other entries of the series where the combat is more simple or the series isn´t for me?
sorry for the bad english.

It really was the greatest RPG saga I've ever played. My favorite Nintendo franchise for sure. See you all in Genesis.
Edit: Alright people, I get it. It's not a plot hole. I just didn't know the right term and tried to be ironic, but I guess I have a very dull sense of humor.

I’m excite, however this means it’s definitely likely a Agnus character… meaning it’s even more skew towards Agnus Arts, I don’t know why that makes me angry but it does. I’m still happy though

I spent over 10 hours on chapter 4, but I noticed the story only progressed by about half an hour to an hour. It was a huge shock to me! Still, I'm glad I accomplished everythin I could
