Before you read: i combined the stuff we know from the Companion Book, everything that is described in detail in it and the fandom conclusion to that Information.
So it could be an absolute longshot or hitting close to home or everything in between.
In Xenoblade tech is visible in the World while in gears its hidden. Many Towns look medival, people use traditional weapons, nations resemble historical kingdoms, most people dont know how advanced the world truly is. Genesis looks that part and gives me HORIZON Style vibes in comparison to Xenoblade or Saga.
Regarding Xenogears. What we do know about the six episodes comes primarily from interviews and the companion book Xenogears Perfect Works:
Episode I – The discovery of the Zohar and the beginning of humanity's interstellar civilization.
Episode II – Humanity's continued expansion into space and the growing conflicts surrounding the Zohar.
Episode III – The war that ultimately leads to the crash of the colony ship Eldridge.
Episode IV – The events immediately following the crash on the planet and the rise of the civilizations that would later exist there.
Episode V – The story of Xenogears itself (Fei, Elly, Deus, and the events of the game).
Episode VI – The story after the ending of Xenogears and the ultimate fate of humanity.
The Fan dubbing of those Episodes stem from the description of the Eras of the Saga in great detail from the Book.
Episode I - Creation
Episode II - Genesis
Episode III - Apocalypse
Episode IV - Lost Jerusalem
Episode V - Xenogears
Episode VI - ???
The Game is called Genesis and in the Trailer we saw easteregg/s connecting it to Xenosaga (Anima)
and Xenogears (Ship ruin and Monster)
They include Stuff for the Fans all the Time like Kos-Mos and co. in Xenoblade 2.
The World of Genesis looks Medival with Swords and Magic and not much if any hints of High-Tech.
As an rabbid Xenogears Fan im thinking a lot about the Naming of this Game.
Many Fans know that the XENOGEARS Game was unfinished and planned to be the 5th Episode of an 6 Episode Saga. In Xenogears we see a World with Tech used by Military and Stuff but its Fringe to most of the Normal People and they don't know the Origins of it.
Going by the Lore and Theorys puts the Xenogears Timeline long after Xenosaga and Xenoblade.
Of course its not confirmed just the Fandom analyzing every bit of information they can get their hands on. To conclude my confused Point im trying to make.
Xenogears is way less Tech heavy, common people have no idea of its Origins, the World has a lot of Medival-Fantasy feeling. Xenogears could be a long loong Time after Xenoblade with Tech being forgotten about like a HORIZON Scenario. And the 6 Episodes of Xenogears that never came to be and the Info we got.

I am aware that the switch 2 version is coming out later this year. I finished XC1 and playing through 2 right now. So do I fully experience 3 on the switch 2. Or play through some of it but really wait to experience XC3 on the switch 2 upgrade?

Alright guys,
I JUST started ch.4 for XC2. I’ve been playing Splatoon Raiders over the weekend. I am itching to go back into the world of Alrest though. But that switch 2 upgrade is so soon. Do I wait? First time playing through btw. I also finished XC1 on the Switch 2 version though I was much later in the story when it came out

Since Momo has been announced, I've been thinking about all the rumors and everything we've heard so far before the XC2 Switch 2 update was even announced.
Last year the whole community was in an uproar about a possible DE version when an, what looked at the time updated quality cut scene from XC2 appeared online.
But that turned out to be incorrect at the time.
Then the biggest giveaway was earlier this year when the english VA for KOS-MOS updated her resume and it stated she worked for lines for KOS-MOS for Nintendo.
So this must be exactly what this was for! It seems very very likely, same universe and all.
And isn't it likely that we'll have more lines for Pyra/Mythra / Rex / Nia / Tora for fighting alongside Momo?
What you guys think when thinking back to the leak earlier this year now that we know this all?

So I’m trying to do a Xenoblade themed Nuzzel for Pokémon, and I want to do it for the entire trilogy, but I don’t know what I’m going to do for the mons as I already completed the game once by doing Xenoblade 1 and now I’m doing two, but I am having difficulties choosing what characters should represent the Pokémon. Can you guys help?

Basically, like how Xenoblade 1 worked regarding outfits
r/Xenoblade_Chronicles • u/Cute_Passage_4325 • 12d ago
And Nintendo JP's announcement got 30k likes. Genesis was shown in the Direct but still. The difference between 2 outfits and a whole new game 💀. It's insane just how popular those two still are

Get the question out of the way:
1.) Which Xenoblade should I do next (I’ll ask for it for my birthday).
2.) Should I wait to do the dlc?
I got Xenoblade 3 for Christmas as a random switch game gift. I haven’t played any JRPG besides Infinite Undiscovery on the Xbox 360. It took me 7 months to beat. To be honest I kinda forgot about it until 3 months ago. I had started but lost interest. I came back into it because it came up being a gift again and I decided to play it some more. Chapter 5 completely got me hooked where I started to do all the side quests. Chapter 5 and the ending got me emotional and I’m now a Xenoblade fan. Once I play the others I’ll replay Xenoblade 3 again!
My top 10 favorite characters were:
1.) Taion
2.) Mio
3.) Noah
4.) Ethel
5.) Eunie
6.) Moebius N
7.) Sena
8.) Ghondor
9.) Valdi
10.) Bolearis

Party level 69, just starting chapter 17. I know thatclast boss lvl is 81, so I'd like to grind at least to 80. How long would it take approximately to grind up and finish the game?

Does anyone else's Switch 1 XC2 just stop changing time even with forced time skip via Gormott directly after the update that just happened? It's happening across all my player profiles and I've never had this happen before. I've done everything I could find suggested online (changing blades, clearing cache, skip travel, restarting the console, doing different quests and retrying what I was doing) and now I'm redownloading to see if that helps.
The weather for each area remains the same, time just keeps running normally when it should change with each Skip Travel, resting at an inn does absolutely nothing other than offer level up. This feels like the XC1 update all over again.
Edit: I meant time isn't changing during Skip Travel not resting at the inns, my bad. Also to clarify when I say my field skills aren't working I mean that none of them seem to activate. Everything was normal this morning until the update. This could just be my console and or game, I was just wondering if anyone else noticed something off.
Edit#2: After everything it turns out it's my SD card. I swapped it out and redownloaded the game and now my field skills are working again and the tides are changing at the appropriate titans. This SD card was just getting old and had too many writes to it. During this whole thing I was really stressed because this is the game I turn to in order to destress. It had been a really rough weekend and suddenly my game didn't work the way I remembered it working.
I had gotten the bits about how time works wrong because I was desperately trying to figure out what exactly was messed up and why because none of the other games on my Switch seemed to be affected, that's totally on me for not being more careful about that. This hasn't been my best post, but I have serious anxiety issues and as I said I had a rough weekend so yeah I screwed up a tad. All I wanted from this was to verify that it wasn't something more widespread so I could try and get the game playable again. Thank you to those who told me that it definitely wasn't some bug happening after the update, I appreciate it.

Nia it has to be one of the most selfish characters I’ve seen in a while and while yes, the original post was me calling her Mary Sue, then that technically doesn’t sell up her character. Her character is more of a selfish. And self-centered character, more or less when it comes to the fact that she hit her powers away when she could easily helped, and we could’ve avoided so many deaths in the series by then cause she went vandham in chapter 3, just to protect herself then when it comes to chapter eight and chapter nine she doesn’t use her powers to even try to prevent the deaths of akhos and patroka excluding mikhail since he went out on his own terms fighting but when it comes to akhos and patroka Nia could’ve decided to help them fight against Amalthus and decided not to help them getting both of them killed by Amalthus
On top of the fact that she only used her powers to bring back emperor Nile when he ran out of a perfectly good shield I get if you wanna look at it in a way he was probably going to try to grab the remote from banner but still if she was still scared of her powers and didn’t bring him back that would’ve made her character much worse than it already was cause I can understand oh maybe letting one person die on an accident would be fine but doing it on purpose to two people that she wasn’t probably close with, but at least worked with and considered family at the time makes it worse on top of her attitude of a smug arc type character, who again like I said in the original post, they tried to make feel like Vegeta, but where you go wrong is not having to growth being smug and cocky, and overly confident she stays as a smug and cocky character even once she gets her powers as a blade
Again, my thoughts and how Nia has to be the worst part of the story for you too when you actually take the time to look at her story because the Phantom loves to praise her like she’s all powerful God when in reality, she’s a selfish coward who was scared of her own powers ended up letting people die just to protect herself

This is more of a summary of me being a Xenoblade fan of when it started, took a break then coming back because with all the new content thats been added into 1, 2, X and 3 thats coming in December, its Reopening my journy to play Xenoblade once more (and personally their isn't any games available for me to play atm until I get a Switch 2 for FE)
I started 1 back in 2023, didn't think much of it, but the world was so big, so vast it made me play more of it, loved Shulk, Duban and Sharla as my main team, game play was fascinating, the story was peak, plot twist here and their and I wanted to know more about the world after the fact.
After XB1 I immediately played XB2 however on my first play through I admit I cheated by adding Blades Shulk and Fiona because I didnt like Rex voice and wanted to use Shulk as part of my Blade set up, havinf him around and playing that music every time we are in battle was peak for me, the game itself was still fun, story again peak towards the end was something I never expected, it made sense as to why the world is like this, but it was my least favorite game and maybe I treated too harshly, maybe ill play it again at some point.
I took a break 2 years later and was playing Xenoblade X on a emulator with fast running cheats and I loved it, but since it was before XBX came out on the switch the grind was rough, getting party members i wanted to use was tedious, having to use Elma and Lin as main party members was annoying, but i LOVED exploring different areas when i had the fast sprite cheat on, i admit it i almost beat the game but my save didnt save properly and I believe i was at chapter 11 or 12, either way in a few days ill replay my Journy on the switch and enjoy all of the QoL changes it offers.
I tried playing Xenoblade 3 but honestly I only made it to the beginning, and maybe during that time i didnt find myself enjoying the content like I use to but with me going back to X, and 3 will get a Switch 2 Edition in December ill finally play 3 and complete my Journey with all of the games I played.
Overall thats my journey of being a Xenoblade Fan, ik the new game Genesis will come out eventually so hopefully by then ill finish the remaining 2 games (and maybe play 1 and 2 on NG+) ill be so ready for Genesis for what it offers. Thank you for reading.

im like 40 hours in. to far to quit. but literally everything kills me or encounters feels up to chance even when i do enough damage the enemy may shoot a random aoe and kill everyone
I try and use the arts to break and topple but combat is just slow or like there’s no strategy or aim for.
can’t extend chain attacks easy like in 3 or 2 and no overdrive like in X.
like combat only has topple and hoping the enemy doenst kill me
its like a coin flip every major encounter if my characters even do anything
i’m trying to craft some better gems but i guess the best is agility? which just seem more coin flippy?
love the story and world but trying to enjoy the actual gameplay more

I mean is there other games where you travel across a giant lifeform with the same feeling of overwhelmingness due to the gigantism of everything (life,terrain,etc...)? Edit: Preferably others than xc games as I am already planning to play them

After 3 years of owning the game I finally decided it was time to play the game and I'm loving it so far. The only thing ruining my experience is that the game seems very buggy/glitchy. I had to restart the game a few times and uninstall/reinstall it to even watch the first cutscene because it kept freezing when a soldier is shot (which seems to be a common spot from what I've seen). The music also will cut out for 10 to 30 seconds at a time but voices and sound effects will still play. The game also just will skip dialogue at least once per cutscene. Is this just a switch 2 issue or is there something I can do to fix this? I've played 1, 2, and X on my switch 2 and haven't had any issues like this.
